I'll see what I can dig up but I don't know too much about WoWinterface UI Manager so don't hold your breath. Sorry bout the late response but I don't check this page very often since it doesn't really get any activity.

Update: Apparently the UI Manager doesn't support .rar uploads. I repackaged it as a zip archive so it should work now.

Smile Cataclysm and the Log Gnome

Not sure if anyone is using LogGnome besides me, but as it was working if odd I tried my hand at debugging what was wrong with it in our Post Cata world.

LogGnome.LUA
1)Couldn't make line 13 happy so I commented it out with --
2)Changed the "getglobal("")" to "_G[""]" per cata changes

LogGnome.XML
1)Got Really upset at the "this" references (likely completely deprecated even in the xml) and just plopped in what they'd be anyway. self: might have worked but I was upset. Thus the frame sections went from:

Code:
             <OnMouseDown> this:StartMoving();  </OnMouseDown>
             <OnMouseUp>  this:StopMovingOrSizing(); </OnMouseUp>
             <OnDragStop> this:StopMovingOrSizing(); </OnDragStop>
to specifically mentioning LogGnomeOptions or LogGnomeMiniTool specifically.

the other change was:

2) getglobal(this:GetName().."Text") to _G[self:GetName().."Text"]

-=-=-

After all of this the bugger labels the blinking frame options again. huuzah... I guess. Trying to make it obey other things, fill in the options properly etc. Go Go Gadget 'C Debugging Skills' ... please?

--==--==--
Alright. I've made it infinitely messier and it actually saves the options in our Post Cata World. Whee ^-^

I've also made it annoyingly chatty. ^-^v All for the sake of Masochism ... and of course to learn a tad about LUA and LUA changes over time.

Now that I'm done enough... I think I'm the only one who cares... so none should expect the changes up anywhere. Maybe a wiki as a tutorial of how not to LUA code ("What's the variable doing? Want to know... add in spammy messages everywhere. With smilies! You must think it a cute bumbler not something just out to ruin your free time. Perhaps just some 'Spider Pride >8<' if you do feel you need to 'bug track'. Remember Spiders eat bugs.")
