There's a line in the SettingsChanged function that modifies it. Note the "db." portion of the set call. It was probably overriding your changes.

RZ.zoneText:SetFont("Fonts\\FRIZQT__.ttf", db.fontSize, nil)

Anyway, I added a slash command for changing it, which should make it easier on you, I hope. Remember to put the font you want into some addon directory, even in recZone's directory if you want.

/rz fontface Interface\AddOns\recZone\YourFont.ttf
/rz fontface Interface\AddOns\Another Addon\AnotherFont.ttf
/rz fontface Fonts\ARIALN.TTF

Is there a way to change the font face? I've tried changing both the

RZ.zoneText = RZ:CreateFontString(nil, "BORDER", "GameFontNormal")

to something obscure like

RZ.zoneText = RZ:CreateFontString(nil, "BORDER", "MovieSubtitleFont")

then switching the font with fontain, but that didnt work.

Also tried changing

RZ.zoneText:SetFont("Fonts\\FRIZQT__.ttf", defaults.fontSize, nil)

to a different location, or even making a fonts folder in the WoW dir and switching fonts, but that didnt work either.

Any help?

Thanks. This mod is perfect for what I'm looking for.

Hrm, the big letters that show up when you change zones? Can't say I know of any addons like that, and I haven't looked into messing with that before... Because of that, I have no idea without researching it if it is possible, but if it is possible, it wouldn't be difficult to make an addon which would do it. As I'm not personally in need of such an addon, I probably wouldn't bother making it myself, though.

Great addon...was wondering though if this (or perhaps another addon) was capable of moving/editing Blizz's zone/subzone text that displays in the center of the screen . I have a dual monitor setup, so Id like to be able to move it away from the center of the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks, in advance, for your time.
