Cork is a reminder addon, aimed primarily at buffs. Cork was inspired long ago by NeedyList, and has been Alpha quality for years. Wrath introduces new buff query APIs that let me finally make Cork as small as I'd prefer, so I'm finally pushing out a beta-quality version.

Cork provides, at it's heart, one-click buff casting. Some non-buff reminders are included as well:

  • Reminders for self-only buffs, auras and shapeshifts
  • Reminders for raid-group buffs (ones that cast on multiple targets)
  • Reminders for warrior shouts only shown in combat
  • Priest Fear Ward (shows whenever fear ward is not on cooldown, must be manually enabled when needed)
  • Shaman Earth Shield (tracks the last group member cast on, so you must cast manually the first time)
  • Warlock demons
  • Warlock Soul Link
  • Low durability warnings when resting (in town)
  • Clam shucker
  • Minimap tracking
  • Keybinding (thanks cladhaire)
  • Macro-generating button
One-click? How?
Simple! Make a macro: /click CorkFrame. You might wish to add a /cast [combat] Some Spell at the start as well.

You can also use the keybinding in the default k2eybind UI.

Be warned, Cork will only cast out of combat. If you want to apply buffs in combat, you'll have to do it manually.

A few things to note:
On my druid, fursuit kept toggling itself back on, even when I unchecked it.
Druids could use Thorns as potential notification.

Collapsing into Groups

I would like to see the following feature: if more than 2 (or whatever is set in the options for multi-target buffs) in a group need a buff, then only show the group and no longer the individual members in the tooltip (kind of like the old CorkFu worked).

Quick question.

I was testing this out and i notised something that was a bit annoying, might be cos im on live, or might even be intended, but it drives me nutts.


1: In the list of who needs buffs everyone in my own grp shows mutiple times.

Once for unitID Party# and once for unitID Raid# , also for target and focus, and so on..


2: The anchor is very unfriendly to use, it gets stuck under things when i try to place the display under other items n the top of my screen. And since the display hides while dragging i can see where it is exactly without releasing the anchor, and then it drops underneath stuff and becomes ungrabbabkle.

I am probably too dumb to understand this, but how can I implement poison reminders for my rogue? I don't see any option where you can add any specific reminders. Any help appreciated.

I love this addon.

Any chance of somehow supporting different blessings for different members of the same class?

E.g. I'd like to do Might for Paladins, except for myself, whom I'd like to do Wisdom for. I can manually do this but I'd love if there were a way to tell Cork about this (or perhaps if Cork automatically learned it from what I cast, not sure).

Really great work, I like the new mechanism.

I get a popup in live when I press /click macro for the first time each session for the secure. Is it possible to add a 'click ok' bit of code in the /macro? Similar to the behavior like these?

Been using this a bit lately and I gotta say, that I do love this mod and where it's going; however, my one and only gripe is the inability to use it in-combat.

Would it be possible to add support to certain shield affects (such as Ice Barrier for mages) so that they could be used in-combat, or overall in-combat support?
