Helium 2.1.1 - Bug fixes

Helium 2.1 - Update to WOW 7.2
- Removed legacy morph spell code
- Removed legacy trap launcher code
- Code clean up
- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.
- Added a Shadow Dance bar state for Subtlety rogues when using the "Stealth" bar state. This allows for a separate Stealth and Shadow Dance bars to be used. Users can opt to remap the Stealth bar to the Shadow Dance state if they want a single bar state
- Fix for issue where dragging a item to the bar when the editor was open would overwrite the home state macro.
- Fixed issue where macro text would not clear between bar states.
- Fixed some issues with flyouts not generating correctly.
- Added flyout macro generator to the button editor window.

How do I set these workaround? CustomBar States? Whats the command line?

Hi Dwargh,

Some weeks ago I emailed about my vehicle bar getting bugged, parts of it staying behind on my screen, and you said you never heard of it before. But it happens so often to me that I can hardly imagine that I am the only one experiencing this.
I have made a screenshot of the problem after doing the plants vs zombies game:

Link: http://picasaweb.google.com/ehalsema...55297078631634

If the picture does not work then clicking the link should, I made the album public on Picasa.

The most annoying part when this happens is that my buttons keep being bound to the vehicle bar buttons that stay behind on the screen. I have to do a reloadui to solve the problem.

Any clue what is going on here?

Thanks in advance!

P.S.
Is there anywhere a manual on how to create fly-out buttons to select your mounts/companions?
I am no power user of Macaroon and I gave up trying to figure out how it works in fear of screwing up my config.

I deleted all macaroon addons and reinstalled those just to be safe, we'll see if that does anything.

I save my profiles constantly, and sometimes I can fix the issue by restoring from a backup and doing some random combination of logging in and out in different specs, reloading ui, reloading the profile, and swapping specs.

This last time my specs got backwards, when i was in holy i had prot buttons and vice versa.

I *have* used macaroon since it was Trinity, so I don't know if there's some lingering issue with my WTF files. I pretty much completely re-did everything when cata came out though.
I used to use a program to update my addons however when it came down to it manually updating was shortly needed to get correct updates and working addons. So I do recommend to manually download and install addons.

Getting specs backwards seems to be easy if you use 2 computers. Logging out in one spec profile on one machine and logging in the other spec profile on the other, spec stays the same as it's server saved but the machines keep whatever spec profile you last loged out in. Changing specs on one machine to the spec you didnt have on the other therefor makes the other machine have the backwards profile.

It shouldn't matter what saved vars you have in your wtf folder as long as the addon is not loaded on log in. However, I'd check them out and delete any I dont use any longer like for instance old trinity saved vars.. If for no other reason then to clean up and get some more freed space.

How do you set up the vehicle bar so that the leavevehicle button shows when your in a passenger seat of say... a engi chopper/RAF rocket mount or a SoTA demolisher?

In PvP situations, it is very inconvenient to type /leavevehicle
It works when I am the driver. It just doesn't work when I'm the passenger...

What size in pixels does the standard button have ? Is there a way to modify this standard dimension ?

And by standard i am reffering to the size of the newly created button.

1. make sure all the modules of Macaroon you are using are up to date:

Macaroon! (now also including Extensions)
Macaroon: Alerts (Previously Loot)
Macaroon: Status Bars (previously XP, and CB)
Macaroon: Xtras
Macaroon: Spell & macro binder
Macaroon: Totembar (previously MultiCast)

2. make sure to save your profile after setting up the buttons for any of the specs.

Just for my curiosity, do you update/download Macaroon and its modules from WoWInterface or from another site?

Could it be that you need to save the profile manually first before switching to another profile? If you changed anything in it.

I still think that something goes wrong if you have more than one profile for just one char.

Try it yourself please Dwargh:
Make 2 profiles for a char (with a few different keybindings each; just save a profile to a new name and make some modifications to that new profile. Check all 4 checkboxes) and switch before you go into BG or an instance.

I don't like it the Macro Vault way because then I have to make a backup of each macro...one by one. That would take ages.
Why delete it?

Perhaps the quest requires a vehicle bar.
