Re: Latest version problems

couple of problems with the lastest version of macaroon are:

1. When you click create new bar, you don't get the new bar option in the Gui but you do get the cancel button at the bottom. as though its just not showing the new bar options.

2. I have 2 bars on set all macro one set to actions 1-12. When I drag a macro from the blizz macro book to the 1st "macro" on the all macro bar, it also puts the dragged macro in the action state bar as action 1. the seem to share the same slot I have no idea how as one is a macro button the other is a state button.

Its also seem to repeatedly set the 1st "macro state button on the macro bar to "action 1" dispite repeatedly setting it to "macro" state.
1. I dont know the answer.

2. Blizzard macros are not the same as Macaroon Macros, you can copy the Blizz macro code to a Macaroon macro button and it will work but dragging a Blizzard macro onto a macaroon button will make that button an actionID button with the blizzard macro. It's the way it's always been. Amd probaby always will be since it will take some serious coding to get it to auto-copy the blizzard macro code to a Macaroon macro button as I've understood it.

A Macaroon actionID button however is the same as a Blizzard action button so a Blizzard action button with ID 1 (first button in the Blizzard action bar) gets the same action as a Macaroon actionID:1 button gets and vice versa as it is the same button.

You are missing something. There is a setting somewhere to set shat's the lowest amont of time is to have a cooldown show triggered. I don't remember exactly where it is but it defaults at 5seconds. So any spell/item/ability that has a CD less than 5seconds eill not goe a cooldown count.

Anyone else update to 40000.1.10 to find that your keybind and item count texts now reside above and below your bars, rather than on them?

I can't find where to change this to put them back on my bars.

Ya, there are alotta problems that can be taken care of by just cleaning out old addons, it took me a bit to finally get that also.

Hmmmm weird, I haven't seen this one yet, are you useing any other cooldown timers or such besides the built in one for Macaroon?

Re: Blizzards New raid ui with macaroon?

This is what a flyout button is, and they do not seem to be to difficult to setup. Mine work rather well, and I cannot code to save me widdle life.

Re: finding button Names for /click macros

my tool tip shows like "button 18" and things of that nature, but
/click button 18 alone doesn't work

Create a macro button with the following:

/run local f = GetMouseFocus(); if f then DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(f:GetName()) end

Set a key bind for it. Then whenever you mouse is over the button you need to identify, hit the macro.

Generally, (assuming all your buttons are Macaroon! created) when you are in the button edit mode and you mouseover a button it will give you the button number in Green Text on the bottom of the tooltip.

Take that number and add it too "MacaroonButton" so the command will be:

/click MacaroonButton##

If you get the addon called moveanything and enable the nudger, when you mouse over objects they will tell you what the name of a frame is called.

I had the same issue, but only on some of my toons (on one particular server). I went to investigate tonight, tried about a billion different things in regard to enabling/disabling addons. Eventually I figured out disabilng Macaroon Loot Windows did the trick.

Don't ask me why because I do not know.

I don't have macroon loot windows enabled

Thanks for that not really after a flyout bar just a way to enable the blizz slide out menu with macaroon, as I can't find any of the commands for the elements I want thats the best I seem to be able to think of?

TyBudd, when you first start the bars are 'empty' in the middle of your screen. It can be hard to see them against a dark background. Once you start adding buttons to them they get much more visible. You can also check the showgrid box to make it more visible while you are setting up , then uncheck it so you dont have outlines for buttons not yet filled as you're all done.
