Heya, first I'd like to thank Maul and everyone involved for the great addon.

However I have an issue that I can't seem to solve on my own. When I try to set up a custom state bar for my druid I appear to run out of states. Maybe this is a known limitation that I've missed or maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

Here is my current code:

I'm aiming for a combined bar with possess/vechicle, at least 2 pages for each druid form and 6 pages for no stance. Around this point things start to behave strange with buttons shared between the different conditionals (I use macro type for all buttons) and some conditionals just not being read at all.

On a related note: is there a way to copy bar layout and bindings to new conditional states?

ver 1.5 when ever i hit a load screen the defult wow bar shows up. have to go into the main menu check "disable defult bilzard man bar" then uncheck it to make it go away.

None of the macro options seem to be working. I created a stance bar. Then for berserker stance i dragged the spells I want to watch to the bar. They seem to work fine.

But when i turn off text I still see text for the buttons. Why aren't the options working?

Hmm. This is something I will need to work on. However, there is something you can try. A secret feature of flyout macros. After the flyout line, add the line with the # -

/flyout item+:trinket:linear:B:T:2:click
#use [nobtn:2] 13

This will add this line after the /equip line in your macro and it will look like this -

#showtooltip
/equip [nobtn:2] {TrinketName}
/use [nobtn:2] 13
/stopmacro [nobtn:2]
/flyout item+:trinket:linear:B:T:2:click
#use [nobtn:2] 13

Since you already have the trinket equipped, it should fail silently and proceed to the /use line.

When a button is shown/hidden keybinds are applied per secure code that should not be affected by combat so this may be an issue of the binds being grabbed either by a different bar that hides when combat is over or another addon. The best way for me to figure out what is going on is to email me your saved variables to trinityui@live.com

The action ID issue is something I am actively looking into.

Yup, you can keep the default vehicle UI.

After you create a bar, click on the "Vehicle" option to enable it. However only add buttons to the "Normal" state and leave the vehicle state blank. This will hide the Normal state buttons when in a vehicle. Once that is done, you click on "Edit Buttons" and you are shown a macro edit box. At the top is a tab called "General", click it and new options open up. The first two on the left are the click options. If you turn both off, the buttons will not be non-interactive once you leave all edit modes.

I have made my main bar like this in Use Custom Bar States

If you were getting 50mb+ I may be concerned, depending on how many buttons you had on the screen. Macaroon has to do a lot of emulation in Lua to make the macro buttons look, act and feel like regular action buttons and this emulation creates many variables that create memory usage. Action ID based buttons (default UI or a standard bar addon) that have macros on them have the advantage that many tasks are performed in WoW C-side, which is much, much faster than Lua and also does not report it's memory usage to the Lua environment.

To give a bit of reference, take the following macro -

/cast [harm] <spell 1>; [mod:alt] <spell 2>; <spell 3>

I can set that macro to a button object and you can press it and it will work fine. But most players would like the correct icon to show, whether the current spell that is being cast is active, to dim it out if it is not castable, to know which tooltip to set *at the very moment* the condition of the macro changes. All this requires frequent re-scans of which spell is going to be casted based on if the target is friendly or not, whether a modifier key is held down or not, etc.

I always try to make Macaroon as lean as possible. But when you want a Ferarri the last thing you are thinking of is low fuel usage. If you want a bar addon that does everything Macaroon does, minuscule memory usage is not going to happen The only point it becomes a problem is if it impacts FPS drastically, which for most users with average computers Macaroon should not. I know, I have a now out-dated computer by 2 years and I can play fine and raid fine.

Now, could I make Macaroon a bit more efficient and maybe shave off a megabyte. Perhaps, but it would require a complete ground-up re-write, which I do not have the time for. But, if you are at 3mb or at 5mb when the WoW game itself uses an order of magnitude more than that, that re-write would be more an exercise of just wanting to do it, not that it really needs to be done.

There anyway to make the actionbar not be visible when in a vehicle, and to make it so its click through so it ignores all mouse clicks and mouseovers.

Currently using Ovale as an non interactive actionbar, it does it well, but looking at other options.
