Spell problem

Macaroon seems to have an occasional problem with "Holy Word: Sanctuary" in a macro. possibly blizzard's macro code though...

Works SOME of the time, but not all the time. Works fine on an Action ID button as the raw spell. didn't try an action ID button with a blizzard macro.

What ButtonFacade skin are you using... I'm using the Dark Hex and all my buttons render perfectly.

I was doing the "<Healing Spell>" thing just to give an image of <insert stuff here>. the "<>" aren't needed.

Good catch though.

I guess it's okay really, probably helpful, if I change my methods. I used to like all my config setups in as few places as possible. If I have to now use Blizzards macro interface, but still drop them in macaroon bars, it's not that big of a deal. I normally don't have any macros in the Blizzard storage area.

Is there a problem with the response time in the macro handler?

I have a fairly basic macro

Code:
/cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][help,nodead][@player] <Healing Spell; [harm,nodead] <Attack Spell>
When I put this in a "Macro" labeled button, it seems to have a delay of sorts when differing conditions are met.

For example, it may show the healing spell first, but when I target an enemy it'll still show the healing spell. If I hit the key to cast, it'll cast the hostile spell correctly and sometimes switch the icon while the cast is in process. Then when it's done and I clear my target, it'll still show the attack spell even though it's casting the healing spell when I press the key.

When I place the macro in Blizzard's macro frame, and then drop that in place through an "Action ID #" button it'll swap it fine.

Another other odd thing is that if I have the same macro on 2 different buttons (one "action ID" and one "macro" button) both will swap instantly when the conditions are met.
Not sure it will help but try adding a #showicon or #showtooltip as the first line in the macro, see if it will change icon when supposed to.

Re: priest and chastise

as a priest you use chakra followed by PoH and that makes your chastise a aoe heal that you put on ground.

i have put my spells in normal macaroon bars dragging them from the spell book to the bars. before patch i deleted my WTF and addon folder since i wanted to start fresh with all addons and all saved files.

so when i try to use chastise it isnt working at all. i went in to interface and ticked blizz default right side bar to show and then dragged the chastise spell to that bar and tried the sequence of chakra PoH and then chastise and this time it works both from blizz bar and macaroon bar.

i took the spell away from blizz default bar and unticked it and again the chastise thats in my macaroon bar will not work.

i play on a mac mini in case that is a issue
All I've heard Maul say is that it's somehting with how blizzard interprets macros as it seems to have the same issue with Blizzard macros. But I'm not sure anyone has thought of the possibility the actual name or specification of the spell might differ when the spell is proced.
If that's the case though it should be possible to make a macro that would work.

For now though I guess you'll have to use an actionID button for such spells on a Macaroon bar.

Any idea why this is happening?
Think thisis known now as it's been reported a few times thath the binding text goes above the button instead of inside it. and also that item counts seem to go below the button instead of inside. As I can't see anything in the change log or in here that would suggest that it's intentional I would assume it's a bug. I haven't had time myself to check out the code in Macaroon for a while but I'm sure Maul's on it. Either case I think I got an idea and will have a look myself tonight or tomorrow night.
