I double-checked and nothing else is bound. What Priority flag? There's no such beast in the gui that I can find - Maul never finished Ion for MoP, so it's mostly blank options (as in Options, Action Data are blank - only Macro Data works, as well as macro name and macro note. There are three blank buttons that do nothing and have no labels - not sure what they were supposed to be.

I'm having an issue where random buttons on some of my bars don't react to key presses with modifiers. moving main spec over to second spec as a template

Anyway to do this if i have dual spec selected... it will automatically set up a new set of empty bars which forces me to go in and redo the whole thing.

Anyway to copy the main one over to the secondary so that I can just edit it from that instead of from empty ?

I know i can unclick dual spec and use macros etc but I would prefer to avoid that and have different binds for it all

Hello. Running into a problem with the new Ion Status Bars. I think it's "Ion-StatusBars_50400_Hydrogen-5". I get this error when changing zones or looking at reputations in the character panel. This ONLY happens on a toon that also uses Pitbull 4.0. I reverted "Ion-StatusBars_Hydrogen-4" and the error went away. Anyway, here it is, care of Bugsack:

I noticed from reading old macaron threads that there used to be an option to switch a button from action id mode into macro id mode, but I cant find that option anymore in Ion. To me it seems currently that Ion only supports ActionButtons.

Just tried something else:

1) pulled the "survey skill" on a button
2) edited that button (when I opened it it said
# autowrite
/cast survey()

changed that to

/say test

3) closed the edit window and config option with ESC
4) reopened it; I can see "/say test" in the macro config window
5) hitting the button gives me the survey skill still, but NOT the say macro!
This has just started happening to me as well. I've been using Macaroon/Ion forever. Now I can't make a macro that is not a WoW spell.

What I mean by that is I use GupPet for summoning a random mount and I've always used a macro of "/gp am". I've recently made a new character and discovered I'm having the same issue as you. The edit screen saves the macro but I can't select an icon and hitting the keybind/clicking the button does nothing.

But, I can make any macro I want using the "normal" WoW spells such as "/cast [@focus,help,nodead][]Heal".

Quite annoying.


edit: Just discovered something while debugging.

Any of my old characters can still create the "/gp am" macro successfully or any other macro of this nature such as "/say test". The new character(s) can't, but only on the bar I would normally have this macro on. If I create it on my main action bar then drag it over to the auto-hide bar (where I put stuff I don't use in combat) it works fine. Not sure why yet.


edit2: Just figured out the cause. I didn't have that bar set as dual spec but I did have other set as dual spec. Putting them both as dual spec fixed it.

just posted a bug report about lost Bar Stances when changing Specs and/or form as a druid. Hopefully Maul still reads them?

Yes. Once you've created a bar, right-click the Ion icon to switch to edit mode. There, you can click (or is it right-click? anyway, try both) on any button to edit its code. Once you're done editing, press the escape key to "lock in" the text or whatever it does which removes the text cursor to save your changes.

Hiya, been using Ion for awhile now, back when it was Macaroon. I was just wondering though if there's any way to hide the minimap button. Also I am unsure if the shift-click main menu is working properly as all I get is a blank grey screen, which is where I would assume general options for the addon would be located such as hide minimap button. Thanks.

Is there a way to directly write macro code into the buttons? From what I read so far Ion (or old Maccaron) was suppose to be able todo it, but I dont get how (if its still possible). All I can do is drag an existing macro button from the macro window on my Ion Action bars and then have the macro there working, but the moment I try to edit it and add/change the macro inside Ion nothing happens.

Or starting a macro from scratch directly on one Ion button doesnt seem possible as well?

Yeah, I've seen this too on my druid. It is very weird. Since it was only a visual issue and balance is my druid alt's off-spec that I play extremely rarely, it wasn't a problem for me. I can see it being a huge thorn in your side if it's your main though (or if you're leveling as that spec)!

Anyway, my post is just to confirm the issue.

I've started leveling a Balance Druid and I'm having an issue with Ion.

When I go into solar eclipse, the icon for Moonfire changes to the Sunfire icon. It still casts Moonfire.

Even after manually changing the icon to the Moonfire graphic instead of the red question mark it still changes to Sunfire. Not sure what to do.
