Custom States

There's a problem with bars' custom states.
For example if I put a conditional like [exists], it doesn't work till i get to target something and untarget it.
Same have to be done for [combat] to make it work, you have to enter and leave combat, else the bar is always active.

This may be possible, I have not tested it yet. Right now as it is it would require a simple edit of the Macaroon.lua saved var in the character's section of the WTF folder to be renamed from "MacaroonSavedState" to "MacaroonSavedData". But I am planning on trying to get keybind data to saved independently from the button's content and metrics data. This change would help with dual spec switching. If I manage to get those changes done at worst it may be too difficult to translate the data, at best you would have to rebind your buttons.
Thanks for that btw, you really saved me!

Right Click Drag Button Copy?

Old Macaroon had a way to enable right click drag to button copy but I don't see it in this version, am I just missing the option toggle?

40000.1.1 seems to have an issue with distinguishing between the hspacing settings for different bars - while in bar edit mode I can give each bar different hspacing between buttons, but as soon as I exit edit mode, all bars get the spacing from the last bar I edited.

I reverted back to 40000.1 which seems to fix this, however with 40000.1 I also had all my button assignments disappear when I activated my alternate spec :/ - fortunately Alt-F4ing out of wow before this gets saved seems tow ork, so you don't have to lose your buttons if you notice it before you log out.

Not sure if 40000.1.1 fixes that.

As an aside, though, I don't really see the point of having pages 3-6 available in bear/cat form, since you can't use 99% of those abilities in those forms. Maybe this wasn't an option in the addon you used before, but in Macaroon, bars aren't required to have 6 pages. You can have 6, 3, 2, or 1 pages on a bar:

[stance:3, actionbar:1] [stance:3, actionbar:3] [stance:3, actionbar:5]
[stance:3, actionbar:2] [stance:3, actionbar:4] [stance:3, actionbar:6]

... will effectively give you a 2-page bar in cat form.
Thanks for the info. As for the reason behind the availability of pages 3-6, it's for situational items. mainly pots/healthstones/brez. It's not necessary, but i've grown accustomed to it.

EDIT: ok, so i tried the stealth lines and it isnt doing anything for me. Here's what i have:

[stance:1, actionbar:1]
[stance:1, actionbar:2]
[stance:3, actionbar:1]
[stance:3, actionbar:2]
[stance:3, actionbar:1, stealth]
[stance:3, actionbar:2, stealth]
[actionbar:1]
[actionbar:2]
[actionbar:3]
[actionbar:4]
[actionbar:5]
[actionbar:6]

I've also tried replacing stealth with prowl with no change. Any ideas?

Just recently had a problem where a dual-spec enabled bar erased all of the macros after logging out. Main and primary spec were both erased.

No idea how I would go about recreating this. It was fine one minute, then after logging out and back in, the macros were gone.

that worked for me, though I did see it not work at one point but was not able to reproduce the issue so haven't bothered to report it yet. (since it may have been another bad mod making a mess)

it's not /select anymore it's /flyout
I need to read up on the old way it worked to help me understand what some of the options in the auto write tool mean but it's really cool to have that!

[stance:3, prowl, actionbar:1]
[stance:3, prowl, actionbar:2]

or is there way to hide my actionbars when i prowl and have a new set of bars become visible?
Anyone able to help me with custom stances and prowl? i'm trying to figure out if there is a way to make my cat bar swap to a prowl bar when i stealth. I'm just not sure what the qualifier, or syntax, would be for it. If it's even possible. This is what i have so far (and it works great, except for the lack of stealth bar):

[stance:1, actionbar:1]
[stance:1, actionbar:2]
[stance:3, actionbar:1]
[stance:3, actionbar:2]
[actionbar:1]
[actionbar:2]
[actionbar:3]
[actionbar:4]
[actionbar:5]
[actionbar:6]

Anyone have any ideas?

Self Casting

I can't seem to get the self-cast option to work. I've tried making "alt" my self-cast key and then placing a spell on a normal (no other states) bar, targeting a friendly unit, and casting Flash Heal with alt down. It invariably heals the friendly unit, not me.

Edit: I have read the FAQ, and my self-cast key was set when i dragged the spells to the bar.

Now that I understand that it is merely an auto-write, and thus an inconvenience, I'm now looking for a way to remap the "Alt" state to the "Normal" state so that when I have an enemy targeted on a "Reaction" bar, holding down Alt will bring up my "Normal" bars where my healing macros are with a [mod:alt, @player] condition in them.

The "Bar state to remap" and "Remap state to" drop-downs seem like the logical place to do this; however, they don't do anything when I click the drop-down arrows.

Edit: Additionally, it doesn't appear possible to use the custom state text box at the moment. All text that is entered gets erased as soon as you click any other option.

I was trying to setup the following:

[possess]
[vehicle]
[harm]
[noharm] [mod:alt]

I'm not sure about the possess and vehicle states, but I can't even get a simple two line [help] [harm] statement to save.

I've looked all over my UI, I do not have a menu bar set somewhere that is hidden behind anything. I tried again to make one, I create the menu bar, but it refuses to let me add buttons. No error pops up, so I can't really post one.... =/
