Helium 2.1.1 - Bug fixes

Helium 2.1 - Update to WOW 7.2
- Removed legacy morph spell code
- Removed legacy trap launcher code
- Code clean up
- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.
- Added a Shadow Dance bar state for Subtlety rogues when using the "Stealth" bar state. This allows for a separate Stealth and Shadow Dance bars to be used. Users can opt to remap the Stealth bar to the Shadow Dance state if they want a single bar state
- Fix for issue where dragging a item to the bar when the editor was open would overwrite the home state macro.
- Fixed issue where macro text would not clear between bar states.
- Fixed some issues with flyouts not generating correctly.
- Added flyout macro generator to the button editor window.

Problem when I enter a vehicle, a large interface rises from below to cover my action bars. These buttons are not key-bound to 1, 2, 3, etc as they were with Dominoes only. I found out how to replicate this with Macaroon. I don't care for the new buttons, but it works.

Other problem is that when I leave the vehicle, an XP bar and stance bar replace them. I can fix this via reloading the ui, but that doesn't work so well with wintergrasp... Any thoughts as to how to rid myself of these additions?
vehicle/posession bar (alias control bar) should solve those problems alltogether.

To preserve 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 keybindings you may want to use the macaroon priority binding feature. The huge vehicle interface looking like blizzeys one..IS blizzeys one. you can deactivate it the macaroon!'s main menu.

custom states

EDIT: Only removing control as a possible state for the affected bar, seems to remove the problem and the bar is visible when logging in.
Still looking for a solution though to integrate control in the main bar.
Control and the modifiers can't seem to live together in one bar.

Thanks in advance.
Have you tried setting the bars states as custom states or only the preset alt/ctr/sft ?

I see one major difference - spacing. Reduce the padding and spacing around your buttons.

Other than that, you just need to drag them into place and apply a button facade theme you like.

Hotkeys placing items instead of executing macros

made a bug report on this, but the bug didn't show up in the list...who else has had the problem of, when you hit a hotkey and have something on your mouse pointer, it places the item on the button whose hotkey you pressed and puts the macro on the mouse pointer, instead of executing the macro there?

this renders the following macros useless:

/run local itemType, itemID, itemLink = GetCursorInfo() if itemID then SendChatMessage("WTS "..(select(2,GetItemInfo(itemID))).." - PST with offer","channel",nil,2) end

/run local itemType, itemID, itemLink = GetCursorInfo() if itemLink then print("item:"..itemID) end

In both instances, the macro doesn't run...Macaroon simply swaps the cursor item with the macro...and no, Macaroon isn't in Edit Button mode or any other edit mode!

yeah just follow these steps:
1. go into bar editing

2. right click the bar you want to hide in combat.

3. left click the "Combat" checkbox on the window that step 2 brought up

3. make sure the bar is showing the "normal" state.

4. add the buttons you want to show when NOT in combat.

5. change it to show the bar's "combat" state. to do that, simply left click the bar itself until the word "combat" replaces the word "normal" just above the bar. one click should be all it takes.

6. add the buttons you want to show when you ARE in combat. if you don't want any to show, then simply make sure no buttons are shown.

as for stance, if it is gone, this is news to me. i use custom states for my actionbars instead of the stance option, on my druid. all my other toons use paged bars instead. i'll take a look next time i can log in.
Thanks anseloth
I must have missed the note on that update, will go setup the control state now and see how it goes

so far I have had no need to use the stance so don't really no if I'm missing something with it gone or not

Hi I have a very simple question which I hope someone can give a simple anwser to.

I don't know if it is just me but I do not like how macaroon looks. Is there a way that I can customize it to look like this action bar. I know it has buttonfacade support but I do not think that will do it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Vpc0zzH6XE Thats what I want it to look like

Here's a pic of mine: http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=556438

I just want mine to look more like the one in the youtube vid. I guess they look more sleek? Guess that is the best way to describe it.

Thanks for the help

well, the thing is, the keying is built into the menu bar, so if you have all the supplemental addons, then go to the following webpage:

http://www.wowinterface.com/portal.php?id=221&a=faq&faqid=362

but, if you don't have all the supplemental addons, then here is the webpage that shows the entire list of them:

Just installed and...

Ok...I get the "storage" idea...and can make bars and add buttons to them...but I cannot drag-and-drop buttons from storage onto bars.

What am I doing wrong? What good will it do to create macros, if I cannot put them onto any bars?
