Commands -

Can put it almost anyplace you want that way.

I don't even show any bag buttons at all. SHIFT-B is all I need for them. Not sure if you can call the keyring by keyboard. my menu buttons are mini size, stuffed up near the mini map. Seems to work for me that way... more clear space for buttons I need.

I believe that's a coding issue. I usually have no need to open the keyring, but the other day I had to and I had forgotten it's stuck to the menu bar. Took me a few secs to remember. Anyways, something for Maul to do.

Cooldown Color change?

Maul:

Is there any way to change the cooldown count color? I like the yellow numbers but I find when the count gets low the red is hard to see.

I am asking if there is any way to keep it counting down with the yellow color?
Is it simply a line edit?

add keyring into the bags bar?

is there a way to move the keyring button from the menu bar to the bags bar? like on the left edge of the bags bar? maybe its just me, but i think it would make more sense to have it there.

i see 3 possible sources for your problem:

1:
have you tried locking any of the bindings in question? to lock a keybinding, simply left click any button who's keybindings you want to, well, lock as is.

you will have to do that separately for each button, even those buttons that use the same keyboard key.

2:
maybe you haven't saved your macaroon profile since you made this change you keep having to redo.

3:
if you got duel-spec recently, you will need ( or at least almost certainly want ) to set up separate profiles for each spec, and then in the macaroon main menu, at the bottom, put the names of your primary and secondary specs into the boxes for them, and also make sure that the box labeled "duel spec" is checked as well.

I am having trouble with a bind. On my bar i have a spell binded to the number 1, every time i start the game my binding doesn't work. I have to -Bind Edit, erase (esc) press 1 and exit bind edit. Why doen't it "stick" ? It's the only bind that i have that does that... ?

DualSpec auto save buttons

LOVE macaroon!

is there a way to set up auto save profiles? Specifically for our DualSpec profiles, so they will automatically save before switching to the other spec?
I've never tried it in normal WoW UI, but I bet that is what it does.

would be GREAT! (even a auto save for non dualspec would be nice)

You can delete bar by editting SavedVariables file. You need to go in "C:\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\<Account name>\<Realm>\<CharName>\SavedVariables\" and open "Macaroon.lua". Find a bar name, and delete all about him

My "bar 8" suddenly stopped being recognized by Macaroon. I can see it and the items I have it displaying DO appear, but the buttons don't work and I can't interact with the bar via any means/in any mode. Buttonfacade still sees it and it is skinned as originally intended, but I can't CHANGE the skin.

Any way to delete this bar given I can't select it? I've deleted my cache, exited and re-entered WoW, looked in the lua to see if it's still there (it is). Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about lua, so I can't tell what/how much to remove to delete the bar on the back end without making a mess of what IS working.

Hey, having an issue with my macroon bars. On my main server I can put a hotkey to items and have it work.. but I just started a character on Blackwing Lair horde side.. and clicking just doesnt work anymore. Only for items.. any ideas?

Solved it by copying my other server's WTF

Understood. I checked to see if there was any way to use macros or scripts to set up a custom stance but the hunter auras don't qualify as stances so unless I want a mod that will give an answer to calling from a macro /script, i'm sol. And personally I use keybindings almost exclusively and rarely use the mouse to click any spells.

Thus it's back to the default. Paged bar, use just the first two pages, have Mongoose on the 'range' page as:

#show Mongoose Strike (or whatever the spell name is
/cast Mongoose strike
/changeactionbar 2

And put Serpent's sting on the action bar two with a similar macro for change to action bar 1. Finally make macros for the auras so that Monkey/Beast also change to action bar 2 and the rest to action bar 1 (ranged).

It takes a batch of macros, but at least with mac I'm not losing macro slots to it in the default Blizzard macro list. And it does semi automate the swapping from range to melee bar.

I think you can make them toggle by pressing a certain mod key without having to hold it down, not sure how that works though.
I'm not that knowledgeable.
For the most part when I answer a question here I just log on to WoW to see if whatever way I imagined it to work will actually do it. So far it kinda has.

Hmmm, there's someone knowledgable out there looking! Ok one other question for the fancy end. I still prefer to have my hunter's ranged and close in skills on the main bar, and toggle from one to the other. Up until now I'd used a paged bar for that, and macro'd mongoose to also switch to the melee, and serpent's sting to also switch to the ranged. Then I'd place those macros on the other side's bar.

Is there any more elegent way to do this?

Right now if I bind on Control, then I cant bind the same keys to the pet/nopet bar.

I'm very wanting to test this on my paladin BEFORE I get to the next raid. I guess its time to go do Aces High. If anyone knows a safer way to get buttons for control > pet > none I'm all ears.

That seems to me like it should work. to get same bindings on all 3 bars. just lock the bindings on those buttons before binding the same keys to the other bars.
