Helium 2.1.1 - Bug fixes

Helium 2.1 - Update to WOW 7.2
- Removed legacy morph spell code
- Removed legacy trap launcher code
- Code clean up
- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.
- Added a Shadow Dance bar state for Subtlety rogues when using the "Stealth" bar state. This allows for a separate Stealth and Shadow Dance bars to be used. Users can opt to remap the Stealth bar to the Shadow Dance state if they want a single bar state
- Fix for issue where dragging a item to the bar when the editor was open would overwrite the home state macro.
- Fixed issue where macro text would not clear between bar states.
- Fixed some issues with flyouts not generating correctly.
- Added flyout macro generator to the button editor window.

moving buttons leaves counts

another little bug I would love to see squished is how if you move buttons with item counts the count stays behind. it will go away if you move another button without a count into the place and back out though.

Button Skins

I am still having an issue with ButtonFacade and Macaroon. I updated to the newest versions of both, but I am still not getting a Macaroon section under the ButtonFacade addon options.

I was only able to get it to reapply my round button skins by going into bar edit mode, selecting button count, removing a button and then adding it back. This would instantly change the entire bar back to my round buttons. I also found that AFTER I did that, the Macaroon menu would suddenly appear in the ButtonFacade addon options.

I have to do this for EVERY bar and it will not stay after I log out. I'm having to do this every time I log in. I've checked the forums for both mods trying to find others with the same problem with no luck. I'm just not sure which mod is causing the probem.

I have also had a problem for awhile where all of my bars will be shifted up on the screen when I log in. I have to open bar edit mode and close it again and they will jump back to their correct locations.

Any ideas? Thanks for keeping this updated.

Macaroon has the option to set your click option. Globally in the main menu or per-button in button edit mode. When in button edit mode and you are at the macro/action editor, click the next/prev page arrows at the bottom and you will see the option. Macaroon and Trinity Bars before that had this option before it became popular

Would it be possible to have an option to display the bar/bubble marks?

Enter button edit mode and you can edit the bars by right-clicking on them.

The bubble marker is something I worked on in the past, never got it working quite right. Will try again

But definitely some issue with the keys... for some reason my stance keys cease to work in some combat situations, like when I switch stances and then as soon as I am out of combat it is ok.

ill send you my macaroon wtf files
Thanks.

Glad to see you are back. =)

Before I go through the major project of restoring my UI to a Macaroon version, what are your plans? (If you know)

Will you be here when Cat comes around, or are we just kinda getting lucky to have get you back in time for a 3.3 update?

Just kinda fishing for some info while I weigh this decision.
I am looking forward to Cataclysm, so chances are Macaroon will be updated for that Xpac. I have some people who are interested in helping maintain Macaroon and WoWI just added the feature to add additional authors to a project.

I currently have some time on my hands, at least until the new year. After that I may have to step aside again. But hopefully, I can get others set up to help maintain Macaroon so that at least bugs can be fixed as patches happen.

any ideas ?

also notice a huge lag now sometimes between forms, and it might be related to macaroon
I am currently leveling my druid from 70-80. If you email me your saved vars for your druid i can load them up. I myself am not noticing any lag when switching forms. But your setup may have an issue I am not running into.

When I started Macaroon after Trinity Bars, one thing I did not want to do is touch the default bindings. One of the main issues I had, and Tuller with Bongos had, was trying to "steal" bindings from the default UI and it would cause confusion.

So, Macaron uses what are called "override" bindings which is a system of bindings that came with WoW 2.0 that allows one to assign a binding to a button that was "temporary" and took priority. This means that if you assign "1" to a Macaroon button, Macaroon does not care if the default UI has "1" assigned to anything, as it will merely override it. But, most importantly, it will not erase the default bind.

Long story short, if your default bindings got changed, it was not Macaroon

It is the exact same addon just distributed separately from Xtras now.

Yeah, this is some debug code I had in trouble-shooting BF not working. I will update with a version without the debugging Thanks.
