Commands -

What I did was to make a regular old bar. I unchecked everything on the right side of the window (dual spec and snap specifically got unchecked). I wrote some buttons in for that bar and then left it off by itself for a min.

I then made a second bar with 2 buttons. The first button is the one I want to click to show the first bar. So I wrote my macro note and checked the box to use the note as its tooltip. On the "next" page, I checked "Click Anchor" and dropped the menu selection down to the bar I wanted it to work with. (Let me also say that the button did not work and I figured that I had to type something into the macro editor part, so I just wrote in there "#show 13" just to have a graphic.)

Nothing else was done to the first bar, and everything worked just fine until the scaling got involved. I also tried starting the whole thing over but this time I set the scales of the bars up and got the positioned before I made the associations between the 2 bars. I got the same results with that attempt too.

I am likely going about this all wrong. I am open for any and all suggestions for how to do this the right way. All I am looking for is to have a button that will toggle the visibility of a secondary bar.

I am experiencing behavior with Macaroon that I can not for the life of me figure out. Please help. Here's what I'm trying to do...

I would like to have all of my totems on one new macaroon bar. I'm not sure, but I think Macaroon auto changes the button type to action ID if you try to drag a Blizzard Macro to a Macaroon Macro button so that might be how you unknowingly changed the button type.

Well I managed to figure out that "Button Edit" would allow me to see what the buttons were set to (*bonk*) and yes, that one was set to Action ID. All the rest of the buttons were macros. I imagine I put that button in this state somehow(?)

Is that particular Macaroon button perhaps set to Action ID instead of Macro? Even the same Action ID as the BT4 button?

Macaroon Macros are specific to Macaroon. However, Action ID buttons all have the Action ID that Blizzard have given. There are only 132 Action IDs any barmod you have that has Action ID buttons will use those same 132 Action IDs.

Bartender and Mac sharing a button

I seem to be having an issue where BT4 and Macaroon are actually sharing a button. That is, if I put a macro (from the built-in editor) on my bartender bar and reload my UI, that same button is suddenly taking up one of the formerly empty slots on one of my 4 Mac bars. If I remove drag it off the mac bar, it simultaneously disappears from the Bartender bar (no reload needed)..

I did a brief search here but didn't find anything. Sorry if this is a repeated report. Both addons are updated to the release versions.

Have you tried the new "control" bar?
There were these issues with both possess and vehicle bar; showing empty buttons rather than normal abilities when in a vehicle or possession of something. That's why Maul made the control bar, to have something that works just as the Blizzard vehicle/possess bar.

1) I don't think this is a known bug, check the bug reports to see if anyone had it before and if not: report the bug.

2) It could probably be possible if additional code was.. well, coded.
But you got the Macaroon extensions that will provide you with the possibility to make a 1 button bar with a "select" button which would display exactly what you want when clicked upon.

Would it be possible for the vehicle state to trigger when the vehicle bar would be made visible rather than when I'm in a vehicle? I'm finding that many vehicles in battlegrounds can carry players and those players can use their normal abilities while there, but my ability bar swaps to an empty vehicle bar so it's hard to do anything. I've tested and found that the vehicle bar does not pop up in the default UI under these circumstances so it would be a much better test if it's possible.

cannot use quest items with bars

sorry but couldnt find wot i wanted to ask

when i try to use a quest item that i have placed in the bars they dont work and dont even show the correct tooltip

is there anyway to fix this?

A few questions. I'm getting with this though :-)
