Be sure to check out the Optional Ion Addons to give you additional control over UI elements other than buttons using the Ion UI configuration framework.


Features -
  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!
  • Are you a keybinder extreme? Use the button storage area for all your macros/keybinds! No buttons on screen needed!

  • Every button in Macaroon is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.
Commands -
  • Type /ion to display a list of available commands, which are:
menu: Toggle the main menu
storage: Open the button storage area
create: Create a blank bar
delete: Delete the currently selected bar
config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
shape: Change current bar's shape
name: Change current bar's name
strata: Change current bar's frame strata
alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'
arcstart: Set current bar's starting arc location (in degrees)
arclen: Set current bar's arc length (in degrees)
columns: Set the number of columns for the current bar
padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding
padv: Set current bar's vertical padding
padhv: Adjust both horizontal and vertical padding of the current bar incrementally
showgrid: Toggle the current bar's showgrid flag
x: Change current bar's horizontal axis position
y: Change current bar's vertical axis position
state: Toggle states for the current bar (/mac state <state>). Type /mac statelist for vaild states
statelist: Print a list of valid states
load: Load a profile
lock: Lock buttons

no, unless i am very much mistaken, they are just talking about using the already-existing features to pull this off.

if you want to see how to do it, then i'd recommend reading through the last 2, though more likely 3 or maybe 4 pages of posts.

i agree donations and coke all around...

just make a new mac button? "/use Call of Elements"? or bind in keybind menu

This isn't a new featured "totem bar" isn't it?
Any tricks to make that work somehow?

That's pretty cool. So now I have a totem bar setup. But how would you get it to cast all the buttons on the bar? You'd have to set up a separate macro cast for each configuration but you couldn't have it simply cast the 4 totems that are showing at any given time, right?

Shadowdance since 3.2

Hey There,

I play a ShD Rogue and I thought I'd mention that it seems (since patch 3.2) that any bar put in stance mode, when activating shadowdance the bar will go into stealth stance, not shadowdance stance.

Any help or fix would be greatly appreciated.

My main bars vanish when I turn them on. I had to turn off Mac then set up the 3 and turn it back on.

What I did (and worked for me) is I turned on the Blizz bar, set up the three totem presets, then turned it back off and added the "spells" for the three presets to my action bar. It works fine for casting, I just can't see what I have on each preset without casting it.

What do you mean by it has totem bars? How do you have yours set up, exactly?

have not tried it yet. I need to set up some bars on an alt and try it. haven't had time to do much. But I will report with my findings, when I do.

well mac already has good totem bars with select... all we would need would be the 3 new spells that place 4 totems at once? which is just a /cast macro
