Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!
  • Are you a keybinder extreme? Use the button storage area for all your macros/keybinds! No buttons on screen needed!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
  • autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
  • shape: Change current bar's shape
  • name: Change current bar's name
  • strata: Change current bar's frame strata
  • alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
  • alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'
  • arcstart: Set current bar's starting arc location (in degrees)
  • arclen: Set current bar's arc length (in degrees)
  • columns: Set the number of columns for the current bar
  • padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding
  • padv: Set current bar's vertical padding
  • padhv: Adjust both horizontal and vertical padding of the current bar incrementally

  • x: Change current bar's horizontal axis position

Helium 2.1 - Update to WOW 7.2
- Removed legacy morph spell code
- Removed legacy trap launcher code
- Code clean up
- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.
- Added a Shadow Dance bar state for Subtlety rogues when using the "Stealth" bar state. This allows for a separate Stealth and Shadow Dance bars to be used. Users can opt to remap the Stealth bar to the Shadow Dance state if they want a single bar state
- Fix for issue where dragging a item to the bar when the editor was open would overwrite the home state macro.
- Fixed issue where macro text would not clear between bar states.
- Fixed some issues with flyouts not generating correctly.
- Added flyout macro generator to the button editor window.

Macaroon Xtras don't have any graphical menu.
If you want to create a new bag bar I think the command is
/mac create bag

You will get a command list if you just go
/mac create

Doesn't the control bar cover those glitches?
I thought using the control bar made those episodes work fine

hmmm...for 3.3

New macro conditionals: "vehicleui" (if the player has a vehicle UI) and "unithasvehicleui" (if the target of the macro has a vehicle UI).

this might help with some of the bar vehicle issues for somekind of vehicles(IE malygos disks?)

You got your bag bar on Auto Hide?
and now it's gone/don't show on mouse over?

bag bar = Macaroon Xtras
So I'd look in the saved vars for Macaroon Xtras to see if there is any setting that might need an adjustment.

If that doesn't work or you wouldn't know what to do in the vars.
You can try creating a new bag bar..
/mac create
for a list.

Or Delete the saved vars for Macaroon Xtras to start the Xtras bit over from scratch. (just removing the file might be better if you still want it as a backup)

start over

i have some issue with my bags (mouse over only) have disappeared on the latest patch. i want to clear everything and start it over so what do i need to delete to do that?

I know maul is not making any updates but i want to fix this until the next patch and give me time to find something new to use.

any suggestions on a new ui?

Yeah i had the newest version installed.
But i cant find anywhere to enable the minimap, well i have tried to enable the normal miniumap with shortcut key, but that dident work either.
And there is no options for macaroon minimap, at least none that i have found

I got my minimap back, when i disabled Macaroon minimap addone.

I deleted the Lau files in SavedVariables, and used Load Profile, and the minimap disaperes right away.

Just got dual spec for my hunter, and same thing happend to it there, minimap disapered right away

Do you need the lau file to look at?
Any 1 that can help me here?

First, to Maul:

Thank you so much for all of your time developing such a wonderful addon. There are obviously legions of users that love this thing. It is far superior to any other bar mod I've tried. I know it is a huge burden to maintain something like this. Especially when you have users that may not appreciate the effort required. You have always handled the users with class and that in itself takes a lot of energy. Thank you for your efforts.

To the rest of the users:

I have read some books and done some minor LUA coding/debugging. I am not a LUA expert by any means but am a programmer by trade. I do not have the time/energy to "lead" a project like this, but am certainly willing to contribute some development time if anyone is trying to put together a team. I've seen some very knowledgable posters here that I think could do a fine job leading this project. Please feel free to send me a message if you would like assistance with this project and we can exchange personal contact info.

i also use xperl, and when in any vehicle it converts my player frame to the vehicle, and displays power just fine.

if you want the bells and whistles instead of plain utility, you can always enable the blizz bar for vehicles.

i honestly fail to see wot this has to do with my unit frames mod

i use x-perl and the pet frames shows buffs, happiness etc and everything else as it should do why would it show the power bar when it is alongside the vehicle buttons on the vehicle bar on default Ui ?

that would more likely be an issue with a unit frame mod that you use. make sure you have any pet or vehicle options turned on, and also to see the power bar of it. if you don't have a unit frame mod, don't know what to tell you oO

hi maul

i also tried the new minimap but i use minimapbuttonframe adddon to collect my addons button and i found that they appearred to conflict so i disabled it

i recently found a problem with the vehicle bar. i have it setup and use it for everything but i fnally started uldaar and the during the flame leviathon fight i could not see how much pyro power i had. is there a way around this or must i just enable blizzards vehicle bar?
