Features -

Commands -
  • Type /ion to display a list of available commands, which are:
menu: Toggle the main menu
storage: Open the button storage area
create: Create a blank bar
delete: Delete the currently selected bar
config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
shape: Change current bar's shape

alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'
arcstart: Set current bar's starting arc location (in degrees)

Bar Repositioning

Similarly, i've loaded both of today's releases and have had similar problems. The bars shifted to the center of the screen, on the previous release. And now that i've relogged (and updated variables), it shifts to the center bottom.
But it does reset by just clicking the Macaroon minimap button twice.

Other than it erasing the second spec setup, everything else was running very smooth ;p

Loading was extremely fast, and the vehicles bar worked just fine in BGs and WG.

Do not login with your secondary spec active. When you upgraded to .11 it seems that macaroon will delete your secondary setup and replace it with the primary one. I had my saved vars available so it was no problem for me! Logged in with primary spec active and replaced my saved vars seem to work fine!

Just make sure you have a backup of your saved vars!

Edit: Do not ever logoff with your second spec active... It will destroy your second setup everytime on login! Always log out with your primary spec active!

When I switch specs, my bag bar goes inactive until I reload my UI. Not sure why.

Also, is it possible to script saving your UI profile. So I can make a "/save this version" macro?

The Macaroon Vehicle Bar wasn't coming up was what I meant to say. I know you added the option to enable the Blizzard ones but I didn't want them (and forgot to try them to see if it worked). Strangely enough I have a separate bar that is set for NOPET/PET and if I Left Click on the Macaroon Button on the Mini-Map, the PET bar comes up with the vehicle buttons. This separate bar has no buttons for NOPET and 10 buttons for PET.

BTW if I didn't mention it, love the addon been using your mods since way back with Trinity.

oho, the new Version (.10) perhabps is so fast with the loading, bacause it do not load the (Macarron-)Game-UI-Buttons (Character, System, Chatlog etc....)? ;-)

Loading my profile from yesterday or relogging do not fix this new problem... Are I alone with this problem?

I have noticed this too, been working on it. I did find out that each second you sit in Dalaran, your character casts a spell "Remove Flight Auras" which fails quietly if you are not flying. Each time this event fires, all visible buttons process the event.

Hey Maul,

I was just checking out performance data for one of my own addons, and noticed that Macaroon seems to be gobbling up a lot of memory fairly quickly. While sitting idle in town with no target, no buffs being gained or lost, no spells being cast, no secure states changing, I'm seeing frequent increasing memory use spikes of 40-400kb (anywhere from 0.25 to ~3 seconds apart). If I force a garbage collection, static memory use drops to around 2 MiB (which is fine), but it then grows back up to 12 MiB over the next 4 minutes before WoW runs garbage collection, for an average growth rate of around 100 KiB/s. This seems excessive for just standing one spot not doing anything. Is this normal? Are there any features that specifically cause a high rate of increasing memory use? Would it be helpful for me to send you my saved variables?

Edit: I also noticed earlier today while doing 25-man Malygos that there was a huge pause when I landed on my drake in Phase 3, though I can't be 100% sure that was Macaroon's fault.

Mounted combat keybinds

I can't figure out how to have my pet/posses/vehicle bar use the same keys as my normal action bars without canceling each other out.

Ideally, i'd like the pet bar to come up and everything else to disappear, but if i can't do that.. is there a way for the petbar to because my primary bar so keybinds made to it do not effect my other actions?

mounted combat in nearly impossible like this. Thank maul!

edit: after messing with the states and trying to link them to the pet bar, i still can't seem to have them properly linked so that when the pet bar is out, the other bars disappear without having those action bars unavailable when I'm not on a mount.

Just a thought I had whilst redoing my bars yet again.

Is it possible to add a text box for button count for a bar so instead of scrolling/clicking until i have the number of buttons i want i can just type in the number and that appears?

EG I create a bar and then click on button count to add buttons. A little window pops up and i can type in 63, and voila! 63 buttons appear.

I dont mean to use this instead of the clicking/scrolling but in conjunction with it. So both options are available. Jus an idea anyways.
