Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar

Create a bar with "Control Bar" as enabled. Add 6-10 buttons to it, make sure they are action ID:121 or higher. Anytime [bonusbar:5] is true, it will show.

The possess and vehicle states are "tuned" to try and determine when [bonusbar:5] is true if it is a possession or a vehicle. Currently, the way vehicles work, it is flaky (this is a Blizzard thing).

You can still add buttons to the possess or vehicle states as desired, changing their button types to be possess/vehicle buttons, however, I just cannot guarantee they will work in all situations since the info Macaroon can get from the Blizzard API is flaky.

I changed it so you cannot have Control Bar enabled along with Possess/Vehicle. If you find your bar has Control Bar enabled along with the other two, disable all then re-create your bar(s).

My vehicle bar was working just fine before this update.. now all I get, no matter what bar (control/possess/vehicle) I use is the aim buttons and leave button.

Posses bar and my vehicle was working well, out of curiosity to probe the Control Bar, then I stopped working. I went back to make and usually not the same, I get the buttons on the vehicle skills, but no Leave or Aim buttons. I setup manually the ID's and still don't show me that buttons.

There is a Dr Damage clone called Mr Damage on Curse. Doesn't do every class but it's a start.

Now the bad news... the latest macaroon (30100.2.1) broke vehicles for me

My possess bar is displaying some action buttons for weird old stuff I haven't used since TBC and I can't remove them (tried lock/unlock the buttons). I tried changing between pet/possess/vehicle bars with no different results on any.

Any idea how I can remove the old buttons, and why the proper vehicle buttons aren't showing up? The buttons have IDs 121 onwards. I've attached some small screenies if they're any help.



Was kinda embarrassing being stuck on a sandbox tiger and not being able to dismount :P

Two other issues...

the buttons bars have taken to moving vertically - when I first login they're shifted offscreen vertically. Clicking the macaroon button brings them back to normal position. But it's weird.

And last but not least, macaroon is no longer showing in the addons section of button facade. So I can't change the button shapes. The section is completely blank. Not sure if this is a button facade or macaroon issue - going to check with the BF people too.

Indeed. Im noticing that its only the macro-buttons that are hidden. Anything that was dragged from the spellbook remains on the bars.

Issue with the latest version 30100.2.1 Maul, basically when logging in any char, the bags, exp bar etc from macaroom xtra's are always unlocked. have to toggle the edit mode for macaroon on and off again each time you log in

button reset issues

first things first, maul, ty for this addon, best bar mod i've used because it is so complicated and give us so many options.

ok now the problem...for once it isn't about vehicles, my bars work perfect for that since the last update. the problem i'm having is in the ranks...

i have my profile all set up and saved, and it seems that whenever i: zone, get out of a vehicle, or go through any port, my buttons all reset to rank 1. it gets fixed when i do a /console reloadui, but i was wondering if anyone else is having this issue. i've turned on and off everything else, and tossed my wtf and interface folders and its still happening.

i am also losing buttons. its really the same two buttons everytime i log in, and its fixed as soon as i grab a button to drop into the slot, the ones that are there magically appear.

i hope i'm not alone in this, and if i am i hope i didn't break anything >.< thx all!

I just installed Macaroni and now I can't open the wow interfaces menu, I'm currently disabling various addons to isolate the issue.

Got the same thing, only noticed it today, also only upped to 2.1 today and decided to redo my UI.

It looks like on initial load the buttons are taking one of their parent frames dimensions and doubling it thus appearing that much out of position, toggling bar edit on-off fixes it, i'm assuming that toggling bar edit forces a full refresh on all bars.

for me it's only happening on bars that are shaped as circular and involving arc based layouts.

With the latest Macaroon I can't seem to assign the same keybindings to multiple bars... with the priority thing. I have the vehicle bar, so I set 1-5, but it clears my main bar 1-5. I tried with priority set as well. It worked on my priest with the last version of the addon, but I am not sure if it's the version or something I am doing wrong. Any advice?

flame levithan didn't work for me today.
being in the cannon in wintergraps didn't work.
argent tournament didn't work.
had too manually select/switch to the vehicle bar
the whole last week went perfect even in the bots on trash infront of mimiron.
this last 2.1 broke it.

btw. i know updating macaroon with wowmatrix was a no go
how's the support with the curse client?
at the moment when curse says it's update i manually update just too be save. but can you say anything about this

The per character saved vars. yes.. stealth.. you did recive my mages vars didn't you? while I sent you that screenshot of the /select buttons I got set up for teleports/portals. more about that in the Exstensions section.

Are you looking at the per-character saved vars or the global one? Also, there is no vanish option, do you mean stealth?
