Features -

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.

I tried that and it did not work. Looking at what is displayed when I go into edit mode might be helpful though:

It shows bars in all the right places, and they are the right bars in the right places. But none of them have buttons or any of the formatting I did. If I mouse over them, they say they have a button count of 0. They are basically default bars for all that I can see, just all in the right places they should be IF my formatting was there.

And just to clarify, I am using the new version from today - Macaroon_30100.2

in last version when I log somes buttons are hide, just have to click on mac minimap button to open edit mode and they back

question, I have my normal pet bar and another bar that I use for posses and vehicle bar, when is active there is any option to hide my pet bar?

I also lost all of my buttons today.

The world server crashed while I was on my 80 shaman (that has dual spec set up) and in my primary spec. When the world server came back up and I was able to log in, all my buttons and bars are gone. There is a large backpack button in the lower right corner that goes away if I go into the bar edit mode.

Looking at the macaroon file in that character folder, it looks like the data is still there - I can find my button assignments and they are is about the same place as they were previously. So it looks like my set up may not actually be nuked, but it isn't loading up.

Any suggestions?


ADDITIONAL INFO:

My keybindings all still work, but I keybound to the buttons on my bars, NOT directly to my spell book. So the data is definitely still there, but is not displaying.

With the latest version, buttons with an Action ID assigned to it are invisible on login. If I enter keybinding or edit mode, the buttons will reappear. I have to do this on every login now.

I also noticed all the buttons are showing rank 1, but when I use them they cast the highest rank.

It just occured to me, check to make the button types are correct and not set to macro but to pet:id n or action:id n.

Pet bar broken

So, in version 30100.1.7 my pet/possess bars work fine, in versions beyond that they simply won't show up. Am I missing something?

Hmm, I did a lot of crash testing with 30100.2, especially when logging back into combat. Are you getting any error messages? It would seem that Macaroon halts at updating the buttons for you.

Are these bars at a particular part of the screen? And 30100.2 is almost identical to 30100.1.13 as far as the vehicle code goes. The only difference is I added an extra check to see if a vehicle exists.

When the server crashes, I come back to find the buttons from all the bars missing. I have to create all the bars again from scratch. Sometimes I have to delete bars because they will not accept buttons. Fix?

Indeed, it is not functional, just for some reason when the code that calls the tooltip gets fired, it is somehow picking up the lowest rank instead of highest. But I think I have it solved for the next update, as I have not seen it pop up but just that once.

I'm pretty sure now that this is cosmetic, since I had my best DPS night last night...if everything were really rank 1, there's no way that would have happened :-)

The /mac x/y option can be used if you know the point at which the frame is attached. The x/y coordinates are not absolute, but relative to 9 points on the screen.

But actually, there is a frame method to set the frame's clamped "box" and I already added it. I may add a slash command to change those numbers.

Yeah, the rank thing is weird. I saw it once, then it went away. So I have to figure out how it is happening. However, I did tweak some code to see if it helps.
