Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar

I can't choose which fights to show or not to show the vehicle bar, that is why I have given the option to use the default UI bar in the main menu. Until such time that Blizzard gives a more robust vehicle API, there is not much more that I can do other than give options - Use Macaroon's bar, use Blizzard's bar, make a custom bar - are the options.

With 30100.2 (and earlier versions) I have trouble with the vehicle bar on at least 2 fights in Ulduar:

Ignis and Yogg-Saron.

My buttons keep moving away from the anchors

a bit of elaboration when I log into game my bar that has buttons layed out in arc has the buttons offset towards the top of the blue box to fix this all I have to do is open bar edit select bar and then scale it one click then back and its fine. until I relog or reload my ui

I have the same issue involving the bags appearing in the lower right corner.

What happened, is I was provided with the stock bag and menu bars provided with Macaroon!: Extras. I didn't really need either, so I deleted the bars that the bag and menu buttons were on. This put the buttons into the storage for me.

Then I continued building my new UI, 6 bars, 2 of which are control key and 1 is a pet bar.

I was still designing my UI, and still am, and so I end up exiting WoW and restarting it later. Then I noticed the unusable bag buttons at the lower right corner of the screen, all stacked on top of each other and unusable.

Fortunately, I really don't need a bag or menu bar, so I can just delete the Macaroon!: Extras folder from my addons directory.

On a side note, thanks for the bar/button clamping modification to the screen, I now have my buttons placed in the exact spot I want them to be. =)

Yes I got the saved vars, still trying to figure it out. They all load okay for me so far.

Dunno what you did in the latest version, but the autoswap to vehicle mode broke for me again as soon as I updated to this version. Swapped back to the version just before and it works fine again.

Shame, it was doing so well for a while there.

Assuming it's the same as me - large backpack icon (like, twice normal size, although that may just be because I've made the other buttons small I suppose) appearing in the bottom right hand corner - I've discovered the issue here. I'm not sure why, but if you open up the macaroon menu, and go to the "stored buttons" screen the wayward backpack disappears. It'll come back on character switch or relog, but going into the stored buttons menu always clears it. Any ideas Maul?

The profile switcher seems to be broken in the latest version, and I get the following error when I try and load a profile:

had the same problem.
what i did is chance my "main" pet/posses/vehicle bar into pet/controls : possesions and vehicles quickly made a seperate bar for vehicles and just dragged the leave and aim stuff on too the spots where they should be on the vehicle and posses bar(so the last 3 slots) they aren't used for anything else atm anyways.

Exactly. This is the way it is designed for now. A control bar is the actual abilities for both possess/vehicle. A possess bar is only for possess specific buttons vehicle for vehicle specific buttons. However, all buttons are still editable if one wanted to change the button contents.

Another issue driving me nuts is the profiles - I have 3 profiles for my lock, if I delete a demonology-only one in one profile, ALL profiles get that button removed, even though I have saved them with different functions assigned to those buttons. If I leave the ? icons for skills missing when I change spec instead of deleting or replacing the ? icon, the other profiles inherit the change.
All profiles are saved independently and after a save it is not touched until save or delete is clicked. I will look into it, though.
