*very very silent* Sometime, I think about the question, if it is realy necessary to built the posses-Bar with macaroon. Why not simple (I hope, it could be simple) allow the Blizzard-UI to give us the posses bar?

I think about this, because my posses-Bar still do not work and I simple uncheck the "hide-the-Blizzard-UI" every time, I need the poses bar.... and, wonder over wonder, the Blizzard-posses-bar is realy good enough ;-)

Just a sugestion

Sorry for my english,

First of all, I'd like to say that this is HANDS DOWN the BEST bar mod for WoW. Does everything I want and more. Thanks for your hard work and dedication to the project.

Second, I wanted to point out an issue I'm having with the latest version (.4 revision)
If I ctrl-click the minimap button, it breaks all my #autowrite macros.

for example:

#autowrite
/cast Hammer of Wrath()

turns into

#autowrite
/cast Hammer of Wrath()(99)

removing the (99) from the macro corrects it. Also, if I load the menu by just left clicking and selecting main menu, this issue does not occur.

Hi again,

I've been poking about in my saved vars because I've been suffering the "macaroon siezes up your log in to the point you get DCed" bug.

I'm not 100% but it seems every time you make a button, it has an entry added for what it is in your second spec. Even if you have dual specs disabled for the bar, and even if you have dual specs disabled for macaroon. I think that this means that at the moment, pretty much every macaroon button you have is going to have its memory footprint doubled, and more importantly, potentially increase the amount of time you spend loading at start up and when changing spec by up to a factor of 2.

Looking back at my siezing up profile, it was also true for buttons that didn't actually change in my 2nd spec, and buttons I'd disabled dual spec for after realising they didn't need it. Obviously there are concerns for if you then go onto change a button in your first and wish it to remain the same in your 2nd, so this is a grey area of memory saving.

However, it just seems like quite a lot of wasted memory/storage and/or processing at load time/changing spec to deal with it for all these buttons that don't change at all because they have dual spec disabled, or the user will know they'll never change.

Is there any way that the way dual spec could be allocated in a more load/processing friendly way? I wouldn't mind having to deal with it on a per button basis via button edit even - I know which of my buttons/bars will be changing with dual spec, but I'd rather not sift through the saved lua and delete the unnecessery data in case I break something, and in case it just ends up getting readded if I ever change anything.

Really it's just, could there be a good way to trim out all the dead wood in profiles/saved vars without doing it all by hand? I imagine that this would speed things up by quite a lot, especially when changing spec, since you could be cutting the process load down on a non changing button, and at load time.

It's pretty clear that there's a handfull of larger problems with some aspects of mac atm, so it makes sense to deal with them first. I'm just amazed at how much faster I can log in with mac turned off at the moment (or not log in at all with mac turned on sometimes :/). Also, I think I sound pretty harsh sometimes so I just want to put it out there that macaroon is great, really, and I was amazed at how old my action ID buttons were when I had to use them recently, since I was sold on using Macaroon the moment it got released.

First off, Maul, this add-on is the best! It is the only bar mod out there like it and I don't know what my cowbear bum would do without the unlimited buttons per bar.

I am experiencing other druids cooldowns showing up on my bars. I have the Text Cooldown Timers enabled as well as the Text Buff/Debuff Timers and Buff/Debuff Highlighting. (I like seeing my cooldowns on my bars).

However, I'm picking up others cooldowns. There was another feral druid and when he would refresh mangle or rip, my cooldown timers would reflect his numbers. Even when the tree druid was casting his heals, my buttons were lighting up with the cooldowns when I wasn't casting them.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

The latest version should have that fixed.

- Didn't go to sleep tonight, so I got another update out earlier than I anticipated
- Shadowdance is now a workable stance for rogues. You must re-create your stance bars for them to remap correctly (uncheck then recheck the "Stance" option)
- Fixed the buff/debuff highlighting issue where it would show any buff/debuff cast by any other player
- I think I have the hidden binding issue fixed. Let me know if not.
- Added a new feature to deignate if a binding is a priority binding or not. While in binding mode, right-click the bind frame to toggle this. What this means is that if at any moment you have two buttons on the screen showing that happen to have the same bindings, you can deisgnate which one has priority.
- Re-worked the editing modes. You can now enter bind/button edit modes without exiting bar edit mode. You can however still enter bind/button edit modes on their own. While in bar config mode, when you exit it turns off all modes. This is to make configuring different states a bit easier.

I assume I am making some basic mistake as it is working for some people.
I will keep watching forums for answers.
Try alt+clicking the macaroon icon and then right clicking the question marks.

What's been happening for me is it may be like /cast Power Word Shield()()

So just erase the second set of parenthesis and that seems to work, and I haven't had an issue since or otherwise.

I've also had this issue. Loading my "Paladin - Holy" profile takes at least 10 seconds of the entire game being frozen.

That way I don't have to go in and manually save my bar profile every time I change it so that I still have new abilities on my bar after switching to a different spec and back.

Thanks!
I was going to add something similar. The problem is that currently Macaroon is switching the 2 saved profiles, junking any changes you've made to the current one and rolling you back to a previous one. I don't know that you could save a profile properly with the way Macaroon is currently doing it. The only thing I could come up with was either to hook a routine to the save button in profiles to reload the ui which would force a save and would be kind of awkward, or for macaroon to use 2 internal scratch profiles which it maintains the way it used to.

Also, macaroon is failing to load my profile saved list fairly often too. Haven't tracked down why, it may just be Dalaran busyness lagging things up. Anyone else having this problem?

I managed to fix my problem by just clearing out the macaroon saved variables for my druid and starting fresh.

Did you still want a copy of them to see if you can fix the problem b4 i delete them?

Since I didn't get a chance to start active raiding right after patch 3.1 release and didn't want to install newly-updated addons, so I decided to play without any addons for a couple of days.
While making daily quests in Icecrown and Howling Fjord I got some bugs with default vehicle UI. For example in Icecrown switching from "repair mode" to "bombing mode" in "Putting the Hertz: The Valley of Lost Hope" quest didn't work.
In Fjord after finishing daily q and leaving vehicle actionbars locked and didn't swapped back from "vehicle mode", and only UI reloading fixed this issue. So If you're encountering bugs with vehicle UI while having Macaroon - that's probably Blizz fault and not the addons bug.
