Features -

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:

Along the lines of what sindalee said, you can save a profile once you get everything setup. If your setup ever gets messed up, you can re-load that profile and it *should* take you back to where you were within seconds. Profiles completely de-construct the current data, then re-construct the setup from the profile.

That being said, I have added an additional point at saving data when a certain event happens. However, this relies on the WoW client firing that event. To my knowledge, even a disconnect fires this particular event.

But I would def. set up a profile and save it. Just remember that if you make any changes to re-save the profile.

I thought the profile part of this mod was not implemented. It seems like a blank screen to me. Maybe that's part of my problem. I will save my entire WTF file though.

Hmm, I did a lot of crash testing with 30100.2, especially when logging back into combat. Are you getting any error messages? It would seem that Macaroon halts at updating the buttons for you.

i'm also having the mysterious back pack problem. i deleted the macextras lua and it stayed gone even through character switches, but logging back in today it is there (exited in and out of the game multiple times and it comes back). the button is completely non-interactive. doesn't go away for me by simply opening/closing the edit, but on loading profile it does.

i do not use a bag bar at all, i use arkinv so have no need of it taking up screen space, don't know if that might have something to do with it.

also, swapping talent specs is uber fast, but when i go from my secondary talents back to my primary, it's not loading my primary spec, need to load it myself. not a big deal for me really, but it's there.

Ok, I will be sending you two setups, one for my shaman and one for my rogue. The shaman is the one not loading correctly, but I discovered a new problem on my rogue.

On my rogue, I have a small 3 button bar for food/bandages/pots. The bar has the combat option checked so that it swaps between pots/food in/out of combat. When I swap to my 2nd spec, the buttons in this bar change despite the fact that it is NOT a dualspec enabled bar. I have checked/unchecked dualspec hoping to clear this and looked at the file to confirm that the bar is not dualspec enabled. It is the only bar of mine that still seems to have a problem on my rogue when I change specs. Even my main bar which has stance, vehicle, and possess swaps correctly depending on whether I enable dual spec on it. So just this little bar is going wonky for me. TO be clear, my shaman has this same bar, and so may have the same problem, but I won't know since it doesn't load.

Anyway, profiles on the way in a few minutes.

The pet bar shows itself based on pet existence. In what situation are you in where you possess/use a vehicle where your pet still exists?

I will look into the button issue.

It shows bars in all the right places, and they are the right bars in the right places. But none of them have buttons or any of the formatting I did. If I mouse over them, they say they have a button count of 0. They are basically default bars for all that I can see, just all in the right places they should be IF my formatting was there.

I will be writing a new guide on these bars

However, each bar has it's own purpose. The pet bar is obvious, I think

However, the reason for the split of the possess and vehicle bars is because each state has a unique set of buttons to control that state.

If you add 9 buttons to a vehicle state, you will see that the last three buttons are for vehicle controls. These vehicle controls are not needed while possessing a creature

If you add 12 buttons to a possess bar, you will see that the last two buttons are for possess control (much like the default UI has). Those buttons are not needed and are not functional while in a vehicle.

Now, if someone does not care about those extra buttons, one can always create a custom bar with custom conditionals. I will go over that in my new guide on these types of bars
