If i got that right you want to be able to bind the healing spells from 1 to =, which is possible. In binding mode just left click the binds on the shadow bar so they become locked, then bind the same keys to your healing buttons. voila.

So Phanx got me to try macaroon, so far I really like it, but I have one glaring issue.

I've set everything up on my shadowpriest as follows.
I have 4 bars, 1 main (which is just the holder for state/stance options), a shadowbar (shadow spells), a healing bar with a page to another shadow bar (so when not in shadowform, it shows my healing spells, shift+scroll moves to the second shadowbar).

Shapeshifting and vehicle bar

I know that the issue with vehicle bars and druids is known; that is, a druid in a form jumping into a vehicle doesn't properly remap the vehicle bar. For example, in the Malygos fight, when everyone is dropped onto a dragon a druid in treeform (or other forms) won't see the vehicle buttons. Since I'm used to this bug, I just remember to shift out to caster form before dropping.

Has this been addressed for the next update?

I virtually solved my previously described issue with integrating Macaroon! into my interface, by editing the toc files of all other add-ons that had saved their settings on a per-character basis and changing that to have them save everything in their global SavedVariables instead. Since they all shared those anyway, nothing really changed for them. So my only add-on left saving character-based variables is Macaroon! and I'll have to check and re-edit the toc file of any add-on I'm going to update. That seems a little bit messy, but it's OK. Actually, I now feel as if I should have already done that a while ago.

First of all, I've got to say that Macaroon! is the one reason I'm currently over-thinking the whole way of having most of the add-ons i use share their SavedVariables, because I'd absolutely prefer the way Macaroon! provides those additional ways I've been looking for to combine macros and what some people call stancing and paging, basically to save space in the macros for other things than all the [stance] stuff with my druid, in addition to the very cool fact that it works around the game's built-in limit of having only 18 character-based macros.

That said, I'd like to address the main issue I have integrating Macaroon!.
Since for reasons of convenience all my characters share the same SavedVariables directory using hard links, I can't separate a specific add-on's file from the others, except if I would separately link every single add-on. The actual problem with just sharing the same Macaroon! SV with all characters, is that this would also make all my characters have the same macros. What I'd prefer though would be class-based or at least character-based settings. So what I'm trying to say is that I think Macaroon! needs actual profiles that aren't saved as character-based but as account-based (global) SavedVariables, enabling each character to use the same profile as another character, including just about any setting in Macaroon! there is, so there can be completely different profiles instead of just partly different profiles as it is now. (In other words, this would make setting up characters a lot more comfortable by enabling sharing the exact same profile between e.g. an elemental troll shaman on realm 1 and another elemental draenei shaman on realm 2.)
If there already is a way to exactly do all that, I wasn't able to see it with all chars sharing the same SV, since there's no characters' names or classes being saved in the character-based SV. (I could get along with having to set up every single thing for each class once, but it's pretty hard to copy the settings of one character to another if they're being saved in the character-based SavedVariables, especially when changing one single thing and then having to re-change it again with every other character.)
Most of the add-ons I use either separate some stuff into the character-based SV and the probably more important rest for every character into an account-based default profile - or they just have "global" profiles (which is pretty common among ace-based add-ons), saving everything for every character either in a default, a character- or a class-based profile, which is then reusable by other characters.
Sorry to have repeated some things - just trying to make a bit clearer what I think of, not easy to get it myself.

On a side note, I wasn't able to find out what the 8 sliders at the options panel are good for, as they miss a description and don't seem to have any effect on any of the bars. I guess, that is either because they're unfinished or because they miss a translation or something?
Additionally, I find the buttons on the 'Stored Buttons' option panel are pretty hard to see (dark grey on black) and I also couldn't really get which ones of my buttons should be of those stored buttons, since the buttons on the actually visible bars seem to be completely independent of them (as long as they're macros - and the stored buttons don't seem to include the macros).

Other than that, Macaroon! has been rather easy to set up for me with my main character and I'll eventually find a way to cope with having no real (as in global) character-based profiles, though I'd still think that Macaroon! would greatly profit from them.

Or maybe someone else even has a better idea as for how to automatically share most parts of the SavedVariables directory between characters, without specific files in it getting overwritten/deleted.

Hi Maul, good to see you're back

I hope you recover fast because feeling healthy is so damned important.

There's something I want to ask about the combination of Macaroon and DrDamage: I use an old fashioned (Trinity Bars style) setup for my Macaroon bars with all buttons using Action ID's.
I only use a few simple macro's so I don't need macro functions under each button, have tried it for some time but after some strange issues I went back to the Action ID buttons setup and I'm very happy with the way Macaroon works now, no other action bar addon can be setup that way... it's awesome.

The only small downside when you use Action ID buttons is that the information coming from DrDamage doesn't show up on the buttons like they do on macro buttons.

I hope there's a simple way to change that... if not: Please forget I ever started about this issue, because you better use your energy for more important things at the moment.
