Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!
  • Are you a keybinder extreme? Use the button storage area for all your macros/keybinds! No buttons on screen needed!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar

I'd guess they changed how spells identify themselves to addons. All you have to do to fix this is go into button edit mode and manually fix all your spells to not have (Rank X) whatever rank is in there. Macaroon stores the rank as part of it's macro creation and can't find the spell when you upgrade.
Eventually you'll be 80 and it wont matter anymore.

I'm gonna go out on a bit of a limb here and say that those menus are from some other mod because I've never seen them in Macaroon ever. They kind of look like healbot menus.

I posted about this about 3 1/2 months ago, back when Maul was still around. The solution that worked for me, perfectly ever since, was to not use the pet bar with possess. Make a new bar and set it to possession. If you do it that way the pet bar disappears and the possess bar shows up fine every time.

What are these options??

On my macaroon i have 3 dropdowns at the top with no text besides them. The first dropdown has the following options
none
alt cast
ctrl cast
shift cast
The second dropdown is
none
alt cast
ctrl cast

The third dropdown is
none

target

Hi there. I love this mod, but if its not support I'm getting a bit sad, anything else comparable to try out ?

You're better off looking elsewhere unless someone picks this up. I really see no reason for anyone to put themselves through constant headaches every time a patch comes out that makes some part of this addon unusable.

If Maul is not going to continue developing this he needs to find someone who will or put something in the description saying this mod is no longer being supported.

Will I be able to do this with Macaroon?

I would like to make a button that changes color for a certain amount of time.

For example:

The button starts out green, I press the button, it turns red for 10 seconds, then turns green again.

Would that be something I could do with Macaroon?

pet / possesion bar

i also have some problems with the pet/possesion bar, sometimes it works when i enter a cannon or something and sometime it doesent.
im not quite sure but i think when i first log in and then switch to the pet bar it works perfect(will test this today) but when i log in and dont change the bar it wont show when entering a cannon or so while in combat.
maybe the problem is that with secure frames the frames can not be created in combat and therefore dont show up until manualy swiched in the menu.
(this are just some thoughts, i hope this helps tracking this problem down)

I think the action ID buttons auto update to the newest spell though the Macro buttons usually go ?
You can set up the macro buttons to automatically cast the highest rank spell by removing "rank #" in the brackets of the spell of the macro "/cast Wrath(rank 2)" .. ->.."/cast Wrath()"
Same goes for professions.. Remove what's in the brackets.
However this might not have an effect on changing the icon to a new one (as for mages conjure spells.)
