That's pretty much how I did it on my paladin. I think Macaroon dropped support for an official Aura/Stance bar.

umm, macaroon isn't a buff mod....

please someone report on todays "update" im scared to try it before i hear some feedback. guess ive learned not to run into a burning house twice, err, or a metaphor like that.

actionID:121 - 133 are possession-only and are available through the actionID button-type in Macaroon!.

a simple way to get pet and possesion ontop of each other is to set up a pet bar and add 10 petID buttons to it's [pet] state and actionID:121-133 to it's normal state, the moment you get into possession of something your normal bar, which remains emty otherwise, will show you the possessed mob's/player's available actions.

as for warlocks/hunters/mages/UHDKs/priests you might want these to appear on 2 different bars as a possesion-spell won't cancel your pet/demon/ghoul/elemental in most cases.

for my pet/posses issues i just created 2 bars, one with a pet stance, and one with a possess stance, both have no buttons on normal mode and 10 in stance. i just placed them ontop of each other and stopped having problems. although is can be a bit tricky to modify them after they are in place, but it can be done.

and as always SAVE PROFILES, BACKUP FOLDERS.

Edit - btw what was the update today? just an toc change? if so i dont think i'll bother downloading it after getting the fix in and rebuilding my ui for the last 'update'

1st i jsut want to say I completely love this mod & thank you for making it. All though getting everything set up initially makes me want to pull out my hair (as u allways find something later u need to tweak ) it has made playing W0W so much better.

Why not set up a pet/possess bar? I've been using that since I've installed macaroon, and it works with vehicles and changed states, like skeleton phase in drak'tharon final boss fight. I've set it up as my first bar's states, so it even shares the same keybindings, but ofc you can do that any old way you like. (Btw I play a druid, so I don't have proper pets.) All you need to do is tick pet and possess on the bar you want to change, and give a number of buttons to each state, cause they start with zero as usual, but don't assign the buttons. Then you can arrange the bar to your taste, make it hidden till needed, or whatever, just like any other bar. It still lacks the exit vehicle function, because that's not an ability button, but you can either alter the keybinding in the interface options (defaults to numpad 5), or bind a macro to it and place that somewhere. Hope this helps.

Bill, of course you could write one macro for each button, meaning you'd have to rewrite them manually whenever you'd like to change their behavior, then again the button won't show the proper tooltip at all times neither the right Icon unless you put !show xyz on each condition to determine the icon and tooltip.

Having set up some mac-bars instead helps a lot with organizing, rearranging and stuff, now assuming most WoWers have little to no knowledge on macro-writing this might all be too complicated compared to WYSIWYG-style macaroon!-bars.

All we need to do is to change a line of code somewhere and have it tell the mac api that when trigger a and trigger b are chosen on a macbar it has to create [mod:a, mod:b]-style riggers on them instead of just putting them as single-condition triggers like [mod:a];[mod:b] like it appears to be the case atm.

I may have got it wrong but surely you already have this in a standard macro. For a druid you could have
/cast [harm] Wrath; [noharm] Regrowth - if you use a '?' icon then this will change according to the type of target you choose.
Of couse if no target is selected you will cast Regrowth on yourself!
