Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!
  • Are you a keybinder extreme? Use the button storage area for all your macros/keybinds! No buttons on screen needed!

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)

  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.

Well, after deleting all my settings yet again, I got rid of the annoying bars and everything seems to work as intended again. Still have no idea what caused it though, since I didn't change anything in the month I didn't log the character in...

Range check?

I just wonder:
Is it possible to have the mainbar switch based on Range?
E.g. Hunter: If Target is in Raptor Strike range melee skills are shown, if its in Range of autoshoot ranged skills are shown?

Tried to play around with "isinrange" but that does not seem to work, or I do not use the proper snytax.

I'd think the numbers (37;38;39;40;41;42;43;44;45;46;47;48) indicate the action button number.
on bar3.. so these errors occur on 4 bars with a total of (3x12)+10=46 buttons. Action button numbers 25-48 and 73-94. Tried changing these to some other numbers? or deleting the bars starting over?


Now, I've deleted all but the config.wtf file inside the WTF-folder and I've removed Macaroon and reinstalled it, all my other characters have had their setups cleared, but this one keeps giving me a headache. I've also deleted the cache-folder, to no avail.
Just saving the config.wtf is the same as deleting any settings for any toon on any realm on your account. except video, sound and such settings for the game....

Also, for some reason, the death knight has 7 bars that look like they're half-empty, with a few buttons in a few of them that can be edited, but the rest are just empty even though hovering over them tells me they should have buttons on them... This, with a non-existent profile, ie a fresh install, no other character has these bars, all I see when I log onto them is the blizzard main bar.

...Meaning you shouldn't have any strange bars at all when you log on again. Unless those settings are stored somewhere else as well.. like in my documents..

Now I recently noted if you load up 1 saved macaroon profile and then loads another directly after there will be some buttons left from the first loaded profile. those buttons disappear when you log out and back in again. but they can be a nuisance(<-spelled right?) when they keep popping up on mouse over and can't be edited

Yes it does, you can have this barmod replace any blizz bar or just add another bar and keep the blizz bars. it's all up to you.

I'd be very happy with an extra bar, however I don't want to eliminate the default blizz gui (as in I just want to make a custom bar to go with, so to speak).

Does this addon do that? :/

I'm having a bit of a problem and I can't find a cure for it anywhere.

This is what I get when I log on my death knight (all my other characters work fine, it's only the one that's completely messed up):

Hallo,

I am not firm with the technic of macaroon, but did this addon not use some UI-technic? For example the technic of the action-IDs - there are connections between blizzards bar-handling an this barmod, I see this, when the posed-bar come up, because I silly user have some action-buttons with the same ID.

Macaroon has not create the barsystem complet new, I think. (But I realy do not know it.) - And blizzard must change some thinks to realice their new swapping-system.

But: we will see and I realy hope, you are right!

i don't really think the swapping of the default bars will really have any bearing on what we see in mac, or any bar mod for that matter. the spec swap will either start with what is currently in your blizz bars, or will pop an empty set. all you would need to do is load your mac profile(s), if even that.

i get what the OP meant now, but i was thinking along the lines of aura monitoring (i.e. buffalo, power auras classic, dotimer) but i suppose they meant bars that change according to a specific aura being present. right?

Right now I'd see us potentially having to save two profiles. Spec 1 and Spec 2. when you change your spec, you have to load a new profile.
if you do any kind of frequent respeccing i'm surprised you wouldn't have two or more profiles saved in mac anyway =O

i have almost completely different bar set ups for healing and shadow on priest, including different usage of keybindings/macros on bars and in the spellbook.

phenomenal tool, should use it ^^
