Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar

- Removed legacy morph spell code
- Removed legacy trap launcher code
- Code clean up
- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.
- Added a Shadow Dance bar state for Subtlety rogues when using the "Stealth" bar state. This allows for a separate Stealth and Shadow Dance bars to be used. Users can opt to remap the Stealth bar to the Shadow Dance state if they want a single bar state
- Fix for issue where dragging a item to the bar when the editor was open would overwrite the home state macro.
- Fixed issue where macro text would not clear between bar states.
- Fixed some issues with flyouts not generating correctly.
- Added flyout macro generator to the button editor window.

Is the Dualspec feature working already, because everytime I switch specs the previously assingned spec-specific skills are gone.

When I switch back without changing the skills on the buttons the old ones are still in place, but as soon as I replace e.g. Concussion Blow in Spec 1 (not avaivable in Spec 2) with Piercing Howl in Spec 2 (not avaivable in Spec 1) it doesn't remember the skills when switching back and forth.

Yes, I enabled the Dual Spec in macaroon menu.

Ok, but then i don't get why it bothers you that your blizz bar changes buttons.. if you don't even use it.
Unless you mean that having the blizz bar hidden changes the buttons on your macaroon bar?

Recently made a warrior alt, my stance bars swich fine between Defensive and Battle stance, but when I go into berserker stance the bars stay the same as whichever stance I was last in.

Did you check what kind of button it is? For example, if it is set to pet:id 1, no amount of dragging and dropping will allow you to put a macro on that button. Try setting it to macro, then doing the same and report back if that fixes it.

help.

i am having a huge problem right now. for some reason, even after deleting and recreating the bars, re assigning keybindings, removing keybindings....everything....macaroon will just not let me put a certain macro on a certain set of keys. i will drag the macro over to that spot, to put it there, and just nothing happens. the border of the box goes white, like i have it selected, and i can let go of the mouse, click more, do whatever....it will not let the macro go there.

Why not just always have the Blizz bar hidden and have a Macaroon bar instead of it?

Just to clearify, what is the difference between 'Possess' and 'Vehicle' states now?

Does the 'posess' state work for mind control and simmilar abilities, while the 'vehicle' state work for vehicles? Might sound like a stupid question, however, my real question is; If the above is true, then I wonder what actionbutton IDs are used for the posess state abilities? Are they the same as vehicle?

And there's two bugs I'd like to report:
- The pet actionbar switch to vehicle bar even when vehicle is not checked in the state checkbox list
- When both 'posess' and 'vehicle' states are checked in the state checkbox list and you leave a vehicle, the bar turns into 'posess' state instead of 'normal'

I am using the 3.1 preview version of both Macaroon and Extras

I will look into this again. I can't remember why right now, but I did have a reason for doing it this way.

However, you can go into the main menu and enable the right-drag copy option. You can set up a hidden bar with your macros, and then right-click-drag those Macaroon macros from that bar to your buttons in the middle. The hidden bar buttons will remain unchanged.

If you are using the latest 3.1 preview version, that FAQ is not quite correct, as I added a new "Vehicle" option to the bars.

I have been using that version myself on the live realms. My main intent on releasing it is to see if there are any upgrade issues. It can be used on live and PTR.

Hello Maul and thank you for making this such an awesome action bar mod...i have a really hard time changing to something else lol. Anyway, my question is this: I'm having difficulties fixing my posession bar, particularly for the sons of hodir daily that you have to ride and kill the wild wyrms.

I followed the instructions in the faq's about making a pet/posess bar that works. Although this post helped me in the past...i don't think that it's current and it's no longer working. Is there anyway you or anyone else could help me figure out how to fix this issue and create a bar that works? If so i would be greatly appreciative.
