Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!
  • Are you a keybinder extreme? Use the button storage area for all your macros/keybinds! No buttons on screen needed!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
  • autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
  • shape: Change current bar's shape
  • name: Change current bar's name
  • strata: Change current bar's frame strata
  • alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
  • alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'
  • arcstart: Set current bar's starting arc location (in degrees)
  • arclen: Set current bar's arc length (in degrees)
  • columns: Set the number of columns for the current bar
  • padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding
  • padv: Set current bar's vertical padding
  • padhv: Adjust both horizontal and vertical padding of the current bar incrementally
  • showgrid: Toggle the current bar's showgrid flag
  • x: Change current bar's horizontal axis position
  • y: Change current bar's vertical axis position
  • state: Toggle states for the current bar (/mac state <state>). Type /mac statelist for vaild states

I am having the same concerns. I was worried about switching from Trinity to Macaroon, but Maul pulled through for us and it worked out. I'm a little concerned that we haven't heard from him at all though. Has anyone been in contact with him? I don't know the protocol, but it seems like most people have voted Phanx as the successor. I am a programmer by trade and have dabbled in lua (this one in particular), so I am willing to offer my assistance, but I am in no way prepared to lead this type of project.

Maul, if you're out there, please let us know...even if you can't continue to maintain it.

Phanx, if you pick this up and need some help, let me know. I follow instructions pretty well...

Enable blizzard main bar

Is there a slash command to check or uncheck the "Enable blizzard main bar" option? I need to switch many times per battle in BG (every time gun/vehicle is mounted). Want to place such a command as a castsequence to toggle blizz bars on and off.

If I forget, it means restarting the game, because mounted with blizz bars off means no dismount command, but that's another issue.

This is a MacaroonXtras problem which occur if you didn't fix Macaroon before logging in to wow.
try this

in the folder:
\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\Realmname\Charactername\SavedVariables

Look for files starting with Macaroon...
I'd think.. if it's only the loot, bags, menu, castbar & XP/REP bars you have trouble with you only need to delete the MacaroonXtras, MacaroonBound, MacaroonCB, MacaroonXP & MacaroonLoot files.

I'd just move em to some other folder though just to still have em somewhere.

I have done what Phanx said to do, but now there is no bag, xp, cast, or menu bars. Anyone know how to fix this?

any one had this issuse? i use drdamage with macaroon and some spells dont show drdamage numbers even if in toolip you can see them-first i thought i might be drdamge issue ,but when i tried to switch spells around my bar that same spell that didnt show numbers on other spot would show numbers (and they were both macro buttons)

i cant press my return key, it does nothing the command just sits there as i mash my return key. This is very frustrating as if i type

it gives me a list of options

Can I set the mainbar, that I can page through the bar and have the stance-switch? I. e. with my warrior the bar switchs, if I change the stance, thats ok, but i can't page the mainbar. If I set the page funktion, the bar doesn't change, when I change the stance.

I agree this mod seems abandoned. I do not see a possible alternative out there either. guess it will be back to bartender with 3.1.
