Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
  • autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar

  • alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)

I love the new addon, still my favorite bar addon. I recently have only one bone to pick.
I put my shammy healing wave on my mouse. lesser and healing.
OK, occasionally for no apparent reason I will log in and they will not work. I delete the bind, reboot the game and rebind after Im logged in. Then it works fine.
Anyway thats the bone to pick.

hi Maul, so i wanna complain about a bug in the macaroon extra modul about the pet bar.

on the point that petbar is working well when using a pet or get a pet.

but with wotlk, we can all realise that we have a lot of mounts mods with actionbar and also transformation mods also with action bar. my request is about this mods. at this time the action botton for mounts and transformation mods are not working with macaroon. the bar does not appear. this is a problem while we're in combat mod cause is not possible to switch the petbar and fonction in combat.

so could you try to fix this that the petbar is aslo working with mount and transformation mods? cause the bar is not switching alone from no pet to pet?

or do we hae another system to configurate this.

thanks maul. macaroon stay at this time the best addon bar at all.

OK, figured it out...apparently for some bars it randomly makes one of the buttons a PetID button instead of macro...changing it fixes the issue...

Have a new issue that I haven't seen reported...I've created a new bar and for some reason, one of the buttons on the grid is "dead space" in that I cannot drag any icon or skill to. When I attempt to do so my error tracker gives the following error:

Havent found anything about this in previous posts. I have been using Macaroon for a while now but this is a new problem for me. I go to edit some bars or what not, the loot bar just came up and will not go away. I have not added any new addons, just updated them.

First off /run and /script do the same thing. They're just aliases for each other. /run is just shorter so I prefer it.

Second your post is wrong.

/script VehicleExit()

is correct. Note the case. It matters.

Looks like you made a typo:
/script VehicleExit()

And you'll have to set your own icon. It won't automatically figure one out for a script.

Not sure if this has been asked before, so I apologise if it has.
In the old Trinity when using a stance bar or form bar that was also paged, the keystrokes transferred to the pages from the main bar. However, in Macaroon using the new linked bars to achieve the same thing, the key assignments do not pass to the second bar, would it possible for this to occur?

Also, my pet bar is showing no buttons for either hunter or warlock and when I try to edit it or even delete it I get an error box popping up. Is there a way around this?

I am having a problem with castrandom after i installed lastest version.
What happens is I have 2 spells in castrandom. Sometimes it only casts one of the spells or it never cast anything. I move that spell to an other slot and move back in than it starts working for a short time again. This kept happening all night.

Is it possible to make a macro to turn on and off Macaroon for short periods, such as using vehicles, since there's currently some nifty interface graphics for those?

possession bar problems

Ok so i had the possession bar made.. i can use all the abilities I even made the last button a macro button and put in the macro as /run vehicleExit() but that only comes up as a ? icon, I have tried other things.. How do i make one while possessing a dragon?? or getting off a possesed mount that is not considered a vehicle?

Phanx, finally someone posted a good answer. Thanks.

I found the easiest way to get around this is to just turn the default blizzard bar back on when you are going to be using a vehicle. Its not hard... click the minimap button, bring up the main menu, and turn the bar back on. You can't use any other actions anyway, so in the meantime this is the easier method.
