Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
  • autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar

- Removed legacy morph spell code
- Removed legacy trap launcher code
- Code clean up
- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.
- Added a Shadow Dance bar state for Subtlety rogues when using the "Stealth" bar state. This allows for a separate Stealth and Shadow Dance bars to be used. Users can opt to remap the Stealth bar to the Shadow Dance state if they want a single bar state
- Fix for issue where dragging a item to the bar when the editor was open would overwrite the home state macro.
- Fixed issue where macro text would not clear between bar states.
- Fixed some issues with flyouts not generating correctly.
- Added flyout macro generator to the button editor window.

On another note, its mildly concerning that entering a possession state in combat/in flight form(as several quests mandate) still does not properly change your bar. Such an issue, especially the first, makes it impossible to use macaroon on any raid fight that uses possession. If this is complicated and can't be addressed immediately, at least a reply is in order!
Just a warning, on some keyboards this only works if the num lock key is on which, being autorun, for me has a 50% chance not to be at any particular time.

I had nothing but trouble with sharing pet and possession on the same bar. My bars never picked up the switch to possession. I'd have to enter edit mode and click the bar a few times to switch it to possession. Other characters with a seperate possession bar seem to work fine, so I made one for my hunter as well and that seems to work much better, but my hunter is 80 already so it's not getting quite as much testing really.

That said, has anyone got a show while in combat bar working? I've tried everything I can think of, followed the instructions in the FAQ, and the damn bar never displays. Of course it's impossible to poke around and see what it is doing as edit mode is disabled while you're in combat.

Auto lock in combat?

Hey Maul, still love your addon but I'm having trouble with the auto locking when you go into combat. Just 5 mins ago I was doing my possess bar when I got atacked by a horde.. I got him killed with help of my spellbook (dk's are so op.. lol) but I couldn't use my spellbar, since it still was in possess mod... Leaving me without any spells and buttons

Maybe its an idea to add an option to enable/disable the auto-lock? If it's already there, i can't find it. Got the newest version tho.

Did you install newest version? If so, did you remove the older version first?

mount up and down

I was hoping that some one could help, as i have had problems geting in and out or on and off different mounts and things and i have seen in other addons that ther is a red arrow that does the work.
so my question is is there one heer as well as i can not find one, or is there another trick.

i would be greatfull if i could get some help

Yes it is the greed/need roll bar. I know it was added a while ago, and it used to be normal. But for some reason when I edit Macaroon at all, it will bring up the window and will not hide itself until needed. And that is even if I just go into edit mode and jump right back out, doing no editting at all.

Hello!

I want to make a bar especially with my Metamorphoses, as you can see I am obviously Warlock and had the idea of a bar with the Spells from processing to appear ONLY if this turned Metamorphoses. As you can do this?

Pet bar disappears upon pet death.

This bug is back again. It's really annoying when you have a pet that can self-resurrect and you have to open your spell book to hit heart of the phoenix because the pet bar has disappeared.

Can you make a configuration option so the user can set if their pet bar should still be displayed when the pet is dead?

Hi,

The Showgrid option for normal Bars is not saved.
Every login I have to check and then uncheck this
for every bar.

Edit: It is saved but not used, and changing a button
in a bar, makes the grid reappear.

Ok. I made a possession bar as described in FAQ and it worked fine BUT yesterday I started to notice that after relogging the char the possess bar didn't disappear and showed button grid. Besides that possess bar totally screws separate pet bar. Who else had this bug?

When I am on my mage and I have the penguin glyph, When I go to sheep something it sheeps (or pigs) it instead of Penguin as it's suppose to. If I open my spellbook and click sheep there, it turns the mob into a penguin. It only, fails to work when I click the sheep button on my bar..
With respect to #2: I do believe that the penguin glyph changes only rank four polymorph. If you use the macro command /cast polymorph (rank 4) or something like that it should work. /cast polymorph results in a sheep. Rank 3? I don't know.

Accidentally deleted Macaroon Bag Bar

2 Questions Minimap Button and Possesion buttons

Hi

I have 2 questions. I use Minimapbutton frame and ever since the most recent update the minimap button will not show up i it. Also in the possession bar how do you get the "Aim Up" or "Aim Down" buttons to show that the tanks use i have the other buttons show up except for the dismount button any suggestions would be helpful.

Thalassian Warhorse?

My belf paladin just got a warhorse. The spell is called "Summon Warhorse", but the tooltip is under "Thalassian Warhorse" -- meaning that if I drag the icon from my mount tab to a macaroon bar, I get the right icon but it doesn't work. If I edit it to /cast Summon Warhorse, it works but shows a ? icon. Using #showtooltip sort of works, but this seems like it may be a bug in the handling of drag-and-drop of this spell.
