Just want to hear if you have any news on the bug thing when you have 2 targets close to each other, and you send in your pet to target a, it then switches target from a to b.
Sorry not good to explain

Talking Just to say Thanks.

hello.. big big fan of Trinity,

at first I tried this addon, but I was getting frustrated fast. but like most things I had to give it some time to understand how the macro system worked and how to add and remove bars.

Just like trinity I can't play without this addon. I think your doing a wonderful job, and thank you for making this.

I have not done anything to it. Are you using a minimap addon?

Huge fan of Trinity Bars, it had some very neato options.

Macaroon doesn't live up at all; I've tried for a week now, and it's just eminently frustrating, while I have yet to see any improvements from the change.

1) Your older interface was more intuitive. This one feels gimmicky.
2) Holy glitches batman. Every time my druid gets a new form and I try to bind things - and it seems occasionally when I make lots of changes - the bar explodes on me and all the bindings get shuffled or often nullified. Especially on a PvP server, this is not fun.

Please go back to updating Trinity, this pales in comparison.
I am sorry you feel that way, but if I were to have re-done Trinity, Macaroon would be it in all honesty. Macaroon is what Trinity Bars 3.0 would have been, configuration and all. So far the positive response has far out-weighed any negative ones. I myself feel Macaroon is much more intuitive than Trinity, and new users seem to pick up Macaroon faster than they ever did Trinity.

Not all addons are for all people. Maybe Dominos or Bartender might suit your needs better. As it is, I do not have the time to tackle a new project on the scale of another bar addon and I am not going to stop on Macaroon. And even if I did, it would be almost identical to Macaroon in look and feel.

I do have a FAQ explaining things in more detail - Of mages, multiboxing and macros...mmm?

Macaroon is the bar addon by Maul going forward.

Re: Button Grid When Mounting

I downloaded the new version, 30000.28 rc, and now when I mount up, the button grid (that I have set to not show) shows itself once the mount appears. Dismounting does not remove it. Toggling the minimap button will make the grid go away. This happens whether I click the button on the action bar or from the Mount menu in the Character info window. If I toggle the minimap button to remove the grid while mounted, when I click to dismount, the grid comes back again.
Does it happen with only Macaroon enabled? Are you using another addon that does something when you mount? If you do, let me know what it is so I can test.

Good to hear you have a work around. If you figure out what is happening, though, let me know

Re: Cooldowns and Debuffs

Ok, so I love this mod, as I did Trinity, so first, major thanks to Maul for putting this together. No my question, and I think it's a bit of a double edged sword. I like using the bar mod to track both cooldowns as well as debuffs, however there are some abilities I find a bit challenging to work with. I play a warrior and a shaman, and the abilities are those that have shorter cooldowns than their defuffs. The specific abilties being Flame Shock, Frost Shock, Stormstrike and Mortal Strike. A lot of times these abilities are off from cooldown, but reaction tells me to wait for the timer when choosing what to use next, hence I miss out sometimes and get killed stuck behind the global cooldown before I realize my mistake. Any ideas on this? Should I use a seperate mod for bebufs and cooldowns, or one, and leave Macaroon to manage the other?

Again, Maul, thanks for the great mod and support. Kudos to the Fubar addin!
Right now the buff/debuff option is global. I might be able to make it per-bar, maybe per button. Make a feature request on my portal to remind me to look into it. For right now, your suggestion seems best for what you want to do.

How do I set a bar to open only if I am flagged PvP OR if I am in a Battleground?

I have certain macros I use only in those instances and I want it hidden the rest of the time.

Thanks.
That feature is not in right now, it may show up in near future version.
