Features -

It was not because of Macaroon. Macaroon was just not set up to handle a possess bar "out of the box". All elements in Macaroon have to be defined by the user. Instructions are in the FAQ

I added a new feature to remap states. This feature may require you to re-make the bars. Macaroon is still in beta, so things like this can happen, unfortunately

I'm not sure if this occurs for anyone else... But I'm a leatherworking shadowpriest, and but if you drag a Drums of Battle or Drums of Restoration from your bag to the action bar, it always has a count of "3"

im not sure whats going on. i changed that bar so it is also possesion.

this seems to have fixed it.

Indeed. Once the buttons do have actions assigned to them, they will work. However, upon login they do not and appear to not work because of this. I just forced it to return true as having an action whether the button does or not to fix it for now so there is no finagling of the possess bar needed on any user's part.

25.1 should have any possess issues temporarily fixed. The problem was that the buttons were not always registering as having an action before the check to show them based on having an action or not happened. This is due to using action ID's above 120. The check right now is forced to always return true so people can use them for the zombie event while I work on a more elegant solution.

well messing around with actual MC on my priest helped me fix it , at least on that char, haven't seen if the settings fix other chars.

it would be cool if we could load settings for just 1 bar or just bar setup (size/location) from a profile..since mac and trinity saved the macros as well i can't easily just upload those pet/possess bar settings on all chars....


***sigh i can't get it to work at all on my hunter. every combination of ideas won't get my possession bar to appear when not editing on that char..and possibly, MC is not considered the same as possess so it might not really be working on my priest either :S

being a zombie did not pick up my abilities on the pet/possess bar like i was hoping below. had to enable bliz bar.

out of curiousity, i opened macaroon for editing, and on the pet/possess bar i'd set up with the possess buttons set to 121+ in EDIT mode, i could see the zombie abilities. leaving edit mode, the bar dissapeared again.

again, open edit mode, and on the seperate bar i'd set to possess with pet id's for mc, i turned them to action ids 121+, the zombie abilities showed, and the bar stayed active when i left edit mode.

after about 2 hours of zombie fun, corpse exploded, got my body back, and went to find a humanoid to mc. now the mc abilities showed up on BOTH bars, but the pet specific abilities wouldn't work on the pet/possess bar, only on the seperate possess bar with the action ids.

so, release the mc and kill it, figure i'll configure the pet/possess bar to have pet ids, leaving the action id's on the seperate bar. set that up. mc again.
now i have no mc abilities on either bar.

and that's where i gave up and am eating the dinner i made while typing this.

don't know if i'm screwing something up, or it's just buggy. left it the way i last had it and will maybe try to get infected again and see what happens.

sorry if a bit wordy, don't know how else to explain what i'm going through with this ^_^

Have you gotten it to work with the zombie plague though? Works for mindcontrol fine, but to get my zombie skills i have to re enable the main bliz bar.

Alright, I must be missing something, Which bar do i need to have enabled to get my buttons when possessing a creature (Kara Chess Event for example) or Polymorphed (Zombie abilities going on right now).

Right now I am having to re-enable my blizz bar to be able to do anything.

Hey Maul! awesome job on the updates, specially the non-us keyboard binding and posses bar change!

Now there's a bug that's been driving me crazy lately.. My main is a paladin and the rez spell (Redemption) is called exactly as an item drop in Stratholme. After picking up this item, my rez spell was replaced by the icon of this item, preventing me from using it again.

I have edited the macro button for it ( /cast Redemption) to /cast Redemption(Rank5) and try some other stuff but i couldnt make it work.. I still get the icon for the item ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22406 )

The only workaround I found for this was making the button an Action button (instead of macro), but this prevents me from making a single click cast, it now requires two (first click to get the spell ready, and second click -on the target- to cast it on him).

Thanks in advance for any help with this!
