I went and reinstalled the trinity bar importer and went to the macaroon icon located on the minimap --> right click icon --> main menu --> addons --> macaroon --> Trinity settings importer --> clicked the options available and everything works great now

I downloaded the supplemental addons. How do I recreate the casting bar if I delete it?
You can back them up then delete, or just delete to reset everything to defaults.

To create a cast bar - /mac create cast

I found that 'snap' didn't work with the two overlapping bars (although it worked perfectly for a stance/paging set up I did earlier) in fact the bars snapped to a position a few mm from each other. I got better alignment by 'unsnapping' one of them.

I've discovered Macro Master and it's great. It would be nice if you could read the macros when you mouse over instead of having them behind the edit window. I had set up a number of alts before I made the discovery so I've got a number of duplicated macros but 'Delete' doesn't seem to work.

One final question, as this is a macro-based addon I have adopted the philosophy of doing the macro rather than dragging items on to the buttons - is this the right approach?
The macro master will get another looksee once I get the major features finished.

You can do either Neither approach is wrong

You can place normal buttons on the bar when it is in "normal" mode.
Those buttons shows when you have no pet. I put my ress and call pet functions there. You can think of the pet and possession bars as stance bars.

I hope I understood your problem correct ant that it helped.

Reporting issue with PetBar

Hi, my main is a Hunter and currently I have a pet that can auto resurrect himself with Heart of the Phoenix.

The Petbar is fine when the pet is alive with pet:id1, etc as all 10 of the boxes, but when the pet dies, the bar disappears, and your pet will not auto cast Heart of the Phoenix, so I rely mainly on this petbar to get him back alive quickly.

Is there a way you can make the pet bar stay when the pet's corpse is still on the ground until you revive him manually to make it disappear like the blizzard UI?

Changing Main Action Bar

Hi, I'm using the regular Blizzard Action bars, with some extra buttons from Macaroon, as well as the ability to keybind macros from Macaroon Extras, and I've got one small problem.

Whenever I zone (into an instance or onto another continent or such), my main action bar (the blizzard one) changes to another one (which has actions I previously had on a macaroon bar which I'm no longer using). I can easily change back to the action bar I want, but it's still an annoyance. If I disable Macaroon, I don't suffer from this problem. Any idea how to fix it?

If it makes any difference, I'm a warrior, so the main action bar changes page depending on stances, but when I zone, it changes to another bar (not used in any stance).

Check the Possess Checkbox for one of your normal bars. (When you have a petbar, you can take this bar, but you can take every bar)

Now, click in the edit-mode the bar, and you will see, that the bar change from "bar 1 - normal" (for example) to "bar 1 - Possession" (or "bar 2 - Possession" or "my old bar - Possession")

The new state of your old bar will be without any buttons. So add a few number of buttons there, I think, 10 buttons are enough. Now, leave the "Add-Button-Edit-mode" and click once more at the bar, so that the bar will change from the "Posession"-mode to the normal mode back and you see your normal "old" buttons on it.

Thats all. Everytime, you will be a ghul, or you are at the Chess-Event etc, the button-Bar will change to the possession-Bar and the game will bring the new needed Buttons on the bar.

Yea, I extracted all four of the folders (the entire contents of the zip file) to the wow addons directory, still no bag or xp bars show up.

Re: Show when in combat

I see a way to make it hide when in combat but not to un-hide while in combat.
Tag it with Combat, then you can click on the bar and you'll see the word above the bar changing, from normal to combat and back.

If you put it on combat, and add your spells there, those spells will show when you enter combat.

If you put it on Normal, and add your spells there, those spells will show when you leave or are out of combat.

You can try reading the FAQ, helped alot for me

Profile Loading Problem

I just upgraded to .26 (and .9 of Xtras). I designed a button layout on one of my chars and then saved it as a Profile. I then went into another char, and loaded the just saved profile. All the created bars were empty and stacked on top of each other in the middle of the screen, and the button store was full of all the missing buttons.

NB The previous version (25.1) was working perfectly for me.

NB I also deleted the char specific savefiles for the char that originally created the profile, loaded the profile, and had the same problem.

Edit: If you do a UI Reload immediately after the profile load, everything is then as it should be.
