Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
  • autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar

  • alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
  • alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'

  • padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding

@Maulhelpmepls - Interesting name lol. I am still working on the panels for the Macaroon Xtras micro menu buttons. They are causing some taint issues.

@isokarhu - Glad it got fixed. With most addons, it is always best to completely restart wow after updates Sometimes it will be fine without a restart, but some things can change that need a restart. Just a good practice to always do

@Jolls - Did you try restarting like isokarhu?

@KenNashua - Umm, well it was in the change notes and it is listed as one of the sub addons on Xtras main page Glas you like it!

@Tirok - The FAQ has the details on how to make a possess bar, which is what you need. Just make sure you have a bar with "Possess" enabled and buttons added to that state

@Nalfeshnee - I sometimes update daily, so within the last week could be an old version

@Celeras - Fixed! Thanks!.

@Cowmeat - 30000.27.4 should have this issued temporarily fixed. The next version has some new code that will avoid this issue while still being able to have chrages for items on Macaroon macro buttons.

@Spaza - Thanks for the report. I looked into it and made some changes for the next update.

@Grigus - You can make a bar change when you equip a certain item *type*, but not a specific item. Use the custom states editor and use macro conditionals - [equipped:shields]; [equipped:two-hand]

@Mordrus - I made a change a few versions ago that may require you to remake your stance bars. If you remake them and they still do not work, let me know.

@Dethedrus - Yay! I am always glas to receive posts like these, thanks

@Bill - Ah, you must mean the Button Options box, which is not specific to macro buttons...I umm left that enabled when I uploaded that last version...I did not mean to, it is not complete

@Abacinate - I will look into it. Make sure you make a bug report on my portal so I do not forget.

@Lichbane - I checked out growl on my live hunter, my beta hunter and my beta premade hunter. Growl works on all on toggling autocast Are you using a macro button or a pet ID button for that ability?

I actually added in a special variable just for DrDamage a while ago and was waiting for a 3.0 update. I apparently lost track of where it was for 3.0

button.macrorank will have the data you need I will double check to make sure I did not mess it up in the latest versions, though.


Here is this snippet I was using while testing a pre-3.0 version of DD -

The only issue I noted is that macro buttons that use modifiers (/cast [mod:shift] spell1; spell2) did not seem to update properly since DD seemed to throttle the modifier check, to obviously reduce CPU usage. But anyone with those kind of buttons hits mod:shift for a moment to cast the spell, did not get updated damage on the button for the mod spell. Just some FYI

Hello there. I'm the author of DrDamage. I've added support for your addon but there's a small problem.

Whenever Macaroon buttons are updated by dragging/dropping or whatever there is no event triggered that could tell my addon that an update is needed and the information will be incorrect until something else triggers the update. Do you see a way to fix this?

I had this happen on a bar that was created using an older version. Basically I had two "battle-stance" bars when cycling through the states, one of which was nonfunctional. After getting a newer version, I deleted the stance bar and re-created it. Since then I have not seen the issue.

Hi,

I'm still having the problem JAVO mentioned (about 5 pages back) with the newest build.

When my warrior stance switches, both the berserker and defensive stance button bars work fine. When he switches to battle stance though, an empty bar shows up (not just skills, but empty as if the button count were zero). If I unlock the bars and left click to cycle through the stance bars, the fully populated battle stance bar will show up. After locking everything again, however, stance switching brings up the empty battle stance bar again.

I kind of need an answer for this...another example is the Reliquary of Souls in Black Temple. You have a different set of cast buttons that come up whenever you get the debuff. I either have to run with the original blizzard cast bar up during the fight, or simply turn macaroon off entirely. What do I do, Maul?

And yes, this is a good mod.

Love the addon Maul, keep up the great work.

Sorry if this has been covered already, I skimmed but didn't see anything like it.

Is there any way to make a bar change when you equip a certain item? I would love for my main bar to change when I switch into my fishing gear. I used a paged bar with Trinity and would just change it when I was gonna go fishing, but now stance and paged seem to be mutually exclusive.

I know its probably asking alot but would love to see Macaroon able to change bars depending on Outfitter set selected.

Maul,

I have a pet bar and a posses bar - problem is that when my pet is alive both bars are visible and I have the pets abilities on both. Is there a way to make the posses bar invisible until i have control over a critter (i am testing with a tonker tank by the way).

I have experimented with an possess bar only but when i go back to my pet all the buttons are blank untill i click each one (not ideal in a raid)

Macaroon + Outfitter = Slow

When I have Macaroon enabled, Outfitter takes a long time to switch outfits and causes much lag. Disable Macaroon and no problem with Outfitter. I don't think you guys are playing nicely together. Any ideas?

By the way, I love this addon. Thank you very much for your hard work.

Whenever something like Karazhan Chess event happens, you have a new action bar with a different list of abilities. Macaroon interferes with this...I have to have the standard blizzard cast bar up for it. What do I have to do to make these lists of abilities supersede whatever action bars I have?

Simular, upon log in with 30000.27.r rc all the bars are in the middle of the screen. Loaded the saved profile and all the bars disappear.

I've reverted back to the 30000.27 rc currently.
