Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!
  • Are you a keybinder extreme? Use the button storage area for all your macros/keybinds! No buttons on screen needed!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
  • autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
  • shape: Change current bar's shape

  • strata: Change current bar's frame strata
  • alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
  • alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'

Lightbulb Bug's in bug report section?

Maybe it's an idea to just report bugs in the report bugs section? If you don't do that, you're problem will be resolved late, or not at all. Since Maul can't remember every post you made here..

small problem, whenever i zone in or out of an area, or mount and unmount, my pet automatically enters stealth, even though i turn off the autocast on prowl every time, it seems to reactivate if the pet bar goes off and comes back on. A bit of an annoyance.

I checked this out and it sounds like you might have buff/debuff highlighting on. The time you are seeing is the length of time left of the debuff of the judgment on the target.

Great mod.

Small bug though and dont know if its this mod or blizzard.

The judgement timers for a paladin. If the same judement is used more than once the timer adds up. So the normal 8 second timer shows 16 and still shows it counting down even when its ready. Other than that every thing works fine for me.

Hmmm, if pet is the only option, you should not see "Normal". Are you using the latest version?

Only thing that I can remember (I am at work atm...) is just the pet portion. I checked that and thats about it. Only other thing I did was add a few buttons for when I did have a pet.

Pet bar

Love your stuff. But I am having a hell of a time trying to get the pet bar to work. Now granted, I play a druid so don't use it that often, but I just can't figure out what the hell I am doing. I went over the FAQ so many times. The only thing that I see that varies is that after I set up the bar...You say to left click it so that it cycles between "pet" and "no pet". When I do that, it cycles between "normal" "no pet". I know this is complete user error on my part. Just help me quit being slow =)

It's not visible right away, but only after you log back in. I think this has to do with the action ID still being associated with the slot the skill is moved from, but I'm not quite sure yet. It's a place to start looking though.

Anyways, I hope this helps and I hope these things can be fixed soon, at least before Lich King. Good work so far though!

It seems you got most of your replies. However, for the last one that sounds like a bug that was fixed in recent updates. But you may need to re-drag all your spells back to the buttons to correct any bad data caused by the bug.

First of all: Check out the FAQ, it helps a lot

Now, I will still explain you how it's done.
You can set the number of columns in one of the options (I suppose that you understand how to get to the options). Change the number of columns to one, this will make your bar have one row (from left to right, that is) which means it will turn out vertically. Not so hard, after all.

I'm not sure about this problem, but if I'm right, you must enable possess for your main bar to change there. But I'm not sure, might want to search through the FAQ or bug reports.

I don't really understand this problem, but if it's actually a bug, try the "Report Bug" option.. gets answered quite fast and easily found back.

Try reading some of this thread or even the faq...
bars can be made to your liking by limiting the amount of columns and increasing the number of buttons..they have no where to go but down :P

There is a very detailed explanation on how to make possession bars in the faq.
