Hi, long time Trinity user here, always been a big fan.

First, I too am experiencing the lag whenever an item in my bag moves. Was trying to figure out the source and eventually found it was Macaroon, came here to post about it but I see it has been mentioned already.

The other thing I was wondering if you were planning on re-implementing the "clamp to screen" option Trinity used to have. In Macaroon it is active by default, and I'd be fine with that, but in my opinion the bars are placed too far from the edge of the screen. Ideally the clickable area of the buttons should be used to determine whether a button can move any closer towards the edge of the screen. I feel this way because when I want to click a button placed at the edge, I like to quickly move to the edge of the screen, not having to worry about missing a click because of the few pixels between the button and the edge of the screen. However, this might not be everyone's opinion, so I'd be fine with just being able to remove clamping and manually moving the bar pixel by pixel until its placed correctly, like how I used to do it with Trinity.

Regarding this message and the related change in the code, I have maybe something to check that this is really the cause of a slowdown. Protractor is an old addon, but a pearl with blizzard code profiling feature.

You can get the addon here :

then,

1 - deactivate all addons except macaroon and protractor
2 - type /protractor profiling. This will reload your ui. Beware to the fact that wow will now be really slower, due to the profiling code running.
3 - feel free to play with /protractor show and to change from memory view to cpu or function view. You will get in detail where wow spend cpu cycles and for how long.
4 - after this, don't forget to type /protractor profiling again, as deactivating the addon without doing this let wow continue profiling, even if you deactivate the addon. This is really slow, as profiling may take up to 50% of cpu cycles on slow computers.

you should see some points where to optimize things, and if this really needed. In my case, this helped a lot to conclude that macaroon (without the latests changes for charges) is really not ressources hungry, even with complex macros/stances and hundred of buttons.

Metamorphosis is treated like a stance. Create a stance bar for your warlock and use the metamorphosis state for that form.

I do want to say thank you for this mod. I have used Trinity for a long time & love both.

However, i don't know what happened w/ this last release, but after I installed it ALL of my bars got screwed up (on 8 toons). Some are missing, others are in the wrong position & the bindings are gone or messed up. I deleted all the old macaroon & Macaroon xtras folders in Addons prior to updating like i have for all previous revisions. I did not remove any of the profile LUA files from the Saved Variables directories.

Update:

This might be the new code I added for adding charges to macro buttons. I was afraid this might happen

Download 30000.27.1, that should fix the spell hopping. You may have to re-drag your spells to the buttons for the buttons to reset themselves.

not sure what it is but with the latest version whenever i try to move something in my bags or loot an item i get lag(a brief pause/freeze up)

and im sure its macaroon causing it, cause i disabled all the addons and tested them 1 by one

do you know what seems to be the problem or is it something i configured on my end?

Bar Bug with main bar action id(forgot the exact name of it sorry, not macro, not pet id, there is one more type of bar):
I wanted to create 6buttons where I will able to use the zombi skills if I turn to zombi. So I read that I just have to mirror the main page bar first 6 buttons. So I have the main bar with 12buttons. Paged. I rolled over to an empty page. Changed to button edig mode and changed the first six button to be "action id 1,2,3,4,5,6". Closed edit mode and weirdly the bar got wacked. if I rolled over to another page, the buttons seems turned around, swapped around, maybe copying the main page buttons... but not only on that 6button but on the other 6 (out of the 12) they got screwed too.

I haven't tried newest release though so maybe this issue is fixed already.
