Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!
  • Are you a keybinder extreme? Use the button storage area for all your macros/keybinds! No buttons on screen needed!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
  • autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
  • shape: Change current bar's shape
  • name: Change current bar's name
  • strata: Change current bar's frame strata
  • alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
  • alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'
  • arcstart: Set current bar's starting arc location (in degrees)
  • arclen: Set current bar's arc length (in degrees)
  • columns: Set the number of columns for the current bar
  • padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding
  • padv: Set current bar's vertical padding
  • padhv: Adjust both horizontal and vertical padding of the current bar incrementally
  • showgrid: Toggle the current bar's showgrid flag
  • x: Change current bar's horizontal axis position
  • y: Change current bar's vertical axis position
  • state: Toggle states for the current bar (/mac state <state>). Type /mac statelist for vaild states
  • statelist: Print a list of valid states
  • load: Load a profile
  • lock: Lock buttons

Same problem, I remember with trinity bars, blizzard's action bars just went away.
I've just started using it and I can't figure out how you put spells in the actions bars, they're linked to blizzard's action bars (ex: Blizzard action bar1 = Macaroon action bar one with spells in same order). What I would like to know:
Is there a way of draging the spells into the action bars? (On TB2 it was possible, good thing).

i cant remove blizzard's ui

Love the addon man but for some reason like the other bar addons i had b4 it doesn remove blizzards defualt bars =( any suggestions?

erm, nice Addon, i think its a good replacement for trinity !

Just 1-2 options to make it perfect

(A option to hide the MinimapButton would be nice)

Love mac

Just wanted to say that I love macaroon, whatever people say it's really nice. I used Bongos2 before, hated it, went to trinity, loved it. Now this and it makes the love from trinity turn into liking So if trinity would've had a 9+ this will have a 15, both on scale from 1-10

Nicely done, will report any bugs I find to help you out with these things

Hello maul,

thx for xp bar info. and i have an other problem. I was using trinity2 before this. So I used your Trinity Bars to Macaroon Importer. But now the bars that have been imported doesnt have shortcut keys on them. They are working but not showing the associations.

So far Macaroon is working well for me. Thanks so much for a great mod I still have the issue with my pet bar though. I deleted the original bar and created a new one using the instructions in the FAQ. I tried using the bar as "Pet" and as "No Pet" but either way when i bring out my Shadowfiend its abilities are question marks so i cant really control him to attack a certain target. Is there a way to refresh it? Unlike hunter pets i dont have a pet ability book and i can just drag and drop his attacks to the bar. Any suggestions?

I haven't seen anything, but it's possible I'm blind.

Is there a way within Macaroon to set a bar to use a different state (as there was in TrinityBars)?

What I mean is that with my druid (for example) I have my main bar set to change on stance. However, I have no need for a specific bar when in Travel or Aquatic form, so I'd like those forms to use the Caster form bar instead.

I had been using Trinity Bars before 3.0.2 patch....and admittedly I wasn't even all that great at it but I was looking forward to tackling it after the big patch. However I see that Macaroon is replacing it...

While I wish I didn't have to get used to using this one, I have a couple problems/questions...

1. I have no idea how to page my main action bar for my druid, spriest, etc. for different stances; and actually, I don't even know how or if the main action bar can be edited by macaroon? Since there is still the blizzard main action bar (though its visibility can be toggled)

2. Can we still create keybindings to spells directly in the spellbook like trinity?

I think that's it... my main problem is the paging issue and main action bar... I barely managed to set it up when I first installed trinity and never bothered to really figure out how it worked (things just weren't showing up in the dropdown menu back then), and now I'm lost on macaroon. I'm going to see what's new with Bartender 4 in the meantime (since bar3 couldn't do what trinity did for me) and possibly even use both if I can..

i found Button Facade and hope it works (can't test it our RealmPool is down)

to the self-cast modifier
ok i think i understand how it works
if i change the Button Type before adding the Spell it should work
but for the "rightclick-option" i have problems, because i'm not soo much into makros
how should a makro look like when i want to cast a spell on my target by leftcklick und on me on rightklick?

Hallo,

It is Blizzard that is limiting it to 10 action ID's, unfortunately.
...and the Original Blizzard UI can only give us three of the four abilities too. I think, they will be change in one of the next patch. Not only in this case, we macaroon-Users are lucky player, because we can make a fourth ability-Button ;-)

I notice dominos has this listed: The ability to move buttons in combat

can macaroon do that as well? If we set action ids can we also move skills around in combat if needed?
