hi Maul, loved trinity and am loving macaroon also thanks for making WoW a far better experiance to play i do have a little questions for you though

1] the amount of bandages etc can be seen on one of my action bars but not on any other bar, i checked all settings etc and they are the same. any ideas as to why this is?

Shif-Modifier Problem

I have a Problem using Shift-Modifiers.
It's either a bug or stupid me.

Can someone please check if this is correct?

This is my macro on my first bar.
The key is bound to 1 (not numpad)

/cast [target=target, nomodifier] Vampiric Touch
/cast [target=player,mod:SELFCAST] [target=target, mod:shift] Power Word: Shield

Casting Vampiric Touch works fine, also casting Power Word: Shield while holding down ALT works.
But I can't cast Power Word: Shield holding down shift. The button changes to the Power Word: Shield icon, but it does not cast. Neither if I have a valid target, nor if I don't. It should at least give me a "glowing hand" if I dont have a target.
But it just does nothing.
It works, when I click it, but doesn't work using the keybinding.

I also checked: there is no other keybinding using SHIFT + 1.

Also this happens on LIVE (3.0.2) and BETA

Me or is this a bug?

showtooltip / tooltip

using a macro similar like this

but theres no symbol changing... always show me the questionmark.
but macro works and i can cast flymount in flyable areas, ans it cast groundmount anywhere else.

also i want to show the tooltip with an addon like cowtip not above the buttons, but anywhere else, i.e. on the top right of the sreen. this also doesn't work

BUT PERHAPS it will be simpler, when you can use the second part of the UnitClass-output, for example

Thanks so much for keeping this wonderful mod updated Maul.

I scanned quickly for my question but I may have missed the answer, I want to create a bar for Combat only.
In Trinity it used to be hidden till combat occured. Now the bar just sits on the screen even after a reload UI.

Am I missing a simple step ?

priest pet

got macaroon working good so far apart from the pet bar for my priest

i did read the FAQ about pet bar and i believe i did it correct

i have a bar that is called pet and its
current binding none
active state says pet
current state is no pet ( as we all know priest pets live very short time )
i have changed all the buttons to say pet under button edit
but i still get no pet bar for my fiend

next to fix macaroon for is my mage but will hold doing her until i have a working pet bar for my priest

/use <item>

/equip <item>

/use <slot#>

/use 13 - for top trinket

/use 14 - for bottom

Those macros will give you the same function as those buttons

Type /mac edit or alt-click the minimap button, right-click on the button you would like this on, change the macro text to one of the above, click "done"

I've looked for transition for some time now, and I can't seem to find it. Have it been added to macaroon? (or implemented and just got another wording?)

Possible, yes. Doable in Macaroon yet, no Post these on the feature request link on the Macaroon main page and I will look into them

When clicking to propagate action IDs, currently every bar has its IDs reset.

But this will fix it.

And it it possible to have two seperate bars linked such that if i turn on the autohide feature, and mouse over one of them, both will appear? Great addon, i was using trinity before this, but i must say, mac is much more polished and much easier to use. Three thumbs up!

Ugh, yes. Transitions I am still working on in Macaroon. Technically, Macaroon is still in a beta stage So I have not made any allowances for transitions from Trinity yet. Wish I had better news
