Helium 2.1.1 - Bug fixes

Helium 2.1 - Update to WOW 7.2
- Removed legacy morph spell code
- Removed legacy trap launcher code
- Code clean up
- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.
- Added a Shadow Dance bar state for Subtlety rogues when using the "Stealth" bar state. This allows for a separate Stealth and Shadow Dance bars to be used. Users can opt to remap the Stealth bar to the Shadow Dance state if they want a single bar state
- Fix for issue where dragging a item to the bar when the editor was open would overwrite the home state macro.
- Fixed issue where macro text would not clear between bar states.
- Fixed some issues with flyouts not generating correctly.
- Added flyout macro generator to the button editor window.

I'm browsing my FrameXML logs to try to track down some stuff.

I noticed this:

10/14 23:20:03.680 ** Loading table of contents Interface\AddOns\Macaroon\Macaroon.toc
10/14 23:20:03.680 ++ Loading file Interface\AddOns\Macaroon\Macaroon.xml
10/14 23:20:03.680 Frame MacaroonMinimapButtonEdit: Unknown script element OnFocusGained

Don't know what to make of this, but could it be related to complaints about the minimap button?

Minimap button is not showing for me. Everything else with macaroon seems to be working properly though. Its possible that its related to errors I've been getting via some other addon (generic framexml errors ftl). I haven't been able to get on much to disable things and test. If I'm able to get more info I'll post it.

any chance of being able to have a bar be both paged and changable through stance? It worked on Trinity why not on macaroons?

Read down a few comments. You want the Macaroon_Xtras addon.

However, once things settle down I should be able to tackle mount issues, as I have some new ideas on how to go about it.
I hadn't noticed, since I use a complex macro that handles mounting, dismounting, shaman Ghost Wolf, druid Aquatic, Travel, and Swift Flight forms, and my hearthstone. That said, the macro is on the hidden bar I use for per-character bindings, so it's not a big deal if the icon isn't shown correctly. :P

Profiles question and propagate bugfix

Do profiles currently store the contents of the macros they use, or just the fact that buttons are macros? My server went boom when I was about to try to figure this out.

I ask because I'd like to copy the exact same layout with custom state pages, etc., to all of my characters -- but each character should have his own macros. (I'd actually use action IDs, but I ran out)

And... Propagate still doesn't work quite right (it propogates to all buttons instead of just the current bar). I was able to fix it myself by changing line 906 of Macaroons_Button_Editor.lua from:

Code:
if (button ~= btn[1] and button.config.type == btn[1].config.type) then
to

Code:
if (button ~= btn[1] and button.config.type == btn[1].config.type and button.bar == btn[1].bar) then

Hehe, I need to make pet bars a bit clearer. I have gone through this several times tonight

Enter config mode, right click the bar, turn on the "Pet" state. There are now two states on the bar, "Pet" and "No Pet". Left-click the bar to cycle through until it says "Pet". Add your buttons. Then enter button edit mode - /mac edit or alt-click minimap button - then left click on the buttons until they say "pet". Each should have a unique ID from 1 to 10

Alot of the same basic mechanisms are in play. You can access most of the essential functions via the minimap button. The tooltip explains how to click it to get what you want.

You can also type /mac to get a list of options.

Once you enter config mode, just like in Trinity, your can right click the bar to bring up options. Most of the options should be familiar even though they are presented in a more efficient manner.

Buttons are the same way. Right-click a button after entering button edit mode to edit a button.

If that does not get you started, take a look at the link on the Macaroon main page. There are some very helpful instructions there. And you can always ask more questions here

1b. When ButtonFacade settings are applied (possibly only with the simpleSquare skin; I don't have any others installed) the keybind and count texts are still moved off the buttons. See: http://i35.tinypic.com/2i07mua.jpg

2. Bars marked as "Hidden" are not properly hidden after checking the option. The only way I've found to get them to hide is to reload the UI. Entering any kind of editing mode re-shows the hidden bars.

3. The #showtooltip macro option isn't working in Macaroon for spells which are mounts. The following macro should show the icon and tooltip of the Violet Raptor mount, and does so on Blizzard buttons, but on a Macaroon button shows the question mark icon and no tooltip:
Code:
#showtooltip Violet Raptor
/cast Ghost Wolf
1a) Woot!

1b) I will check that skin out.

2) This should have been fixed in a recent update, see change notes to which one. I am too tired to remember :P

3) The whole new companion stuff has been difficult to work with on Macaroon buttons set to macro.
