Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
  • autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
  • shape: Change current bar's shape
  • name: Change current bar's name
  • strata: Change current bar's frame strata
  • alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
  • alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'
  • arcstart: Set current bar's starting arc location (in degrees)

  • columns: Set the number of columns for the current bar
  • padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding
  • padv: Set current bar's vertical padding

- Removed legacy morph spell code
- Removed legacy trap launcher code
- Code clean up
- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.
- Added a Shadow Dance bar state for Subtlety rogues when using the "Stealth" bar state. This allows for a separate Stealth and Shadow Dance bars to be used. Users can opt to remap the Stealth bar to the Shadow Dance state if they want a single bar state
- Fix for issue where dragging a item to the bar when the editor was open would overwrite the home state macro.
- Fixed issue where macro text would not clear between bar states.
- Fixed some issues with flyouts not generating correctly.
- Added flyout macro generator to the button editor window.

I can make it re-appear not sure what is causing it come back either..
Each stance/form has its own unique set of buttons. You have to add buttons to each stance/form/page.

1a. ButtonFacade settings are saving now, thanks!

1b. When ButtonFacade settings are applied (possibly only with the simpleSquare skin; I don't have any others installed) the keybind and count texts are still moved off the buttons. See: http://i35.tinypic.com/2i07mua.jpg

2. Bars marked as "Hidden" are not properly hidden after checking the option. The only way I've found to get them to hide is to reload the UI. Entering any kind of editing mode re-shows the hidden bars.

3. The #showtooltip macro option isn't working in Macaroon for spells which are mounts. The following macro should show the icon and tooltip of the Violet Raptor mount, and does so on Blizzard buttons, but on a Macaroon button shows the question mark icon and no tooltip:

Vista issue maybe?

I loaded macaroon (two folders) in my wow addon folder. When i start the game and go to char screen, and hit addons button in the bottom left, I dont see macaroon in there.

Is this suppose to work with Vista? or why is it not showing up?

Hi again, I was hoping you would know whats going on, on live i made a stance bar...
...and it disappears every-time i exit button edit mode..

I have to mess around for a bit and not sure what makes it reappear but with a bit of fiddling around ( going in and out of menus clicking different bars)
I can make it re-appear not sure what is causing it come back either..

I assume you made a pet bar already. What you have to do is change the button types to "pet". /mac edit or alt-click the minimap button. Left-click the buttons until they say "pet" and each should have a unique ID, ranging from 1 to 10.

Ah ha! Thanks for the tip. It's ok about the coordinate mapping, I'll kick, scream, and delete my way into success.

Once I get 1 layout made, it just becomes the template I modify for all my other characters.

If you installed Macaroon Xtras, it is assumed you want those elements. Macaroon Xtras creates its very own bag buttons and menu buttons, leaving the Blizzard ones alone. The main reason for this is because of the new vehicle UI. Since I am allowing users to toggle the main Blizz bar on and off, if I touch those buttons, it taints the main bar and messes up the Blizz vehicle UI. So I had to duplicate them in Xtras. Just turn off the actual addon "Macaroon Xtras" and you won't have those bars

Okay, I loaded them up on my warlock in beta and I see how they are in the center. However, when I move them around they stick, even after a relog/reload.

When you move them around, see if the "Position" "x" and "y" data on the tooltip is updating or not. You should see "BOTTOM", "LEFT", "RIGHT" etc depending on where on the screen the bar is.
