Helium 2.1.1 - Bug fixes

Helium 2.1 - Update to WOW 7.2
- Removed legacy morph spell code
- Removed legacy trap launcher code
- Code clean up
- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.
- Added a Shadow Dance bar state for Subtlety rogues when using the "Stealth" bar state. This allows for a separate Stealth and Shadow Dance bars to be used. Users can opt to remap the Stealth bar to the Shadow Dance state if they want a single bar state
- Fix for issue where dragging a item to the bar when the editor was open would overwrite the home state macro.
- Fixed issue where macro text would not clear between bar states.
- Fixed some issues with flyouts not generating correctly.
- Added flyout macro generator to the button editor window.

do you remember if the petattack macro command you used during wrath looked anything like this?

Code:
/petattack
i don't know if changed how the petattack macro command works, but i figure that IF this was what you were using, then we have a starting point for figuring this issue of yours out.

[EDIT]i had a thought, you MIGHT be able to get the Pet ID 1 working as an attack button.

if i am right, all you need to do is, you just drag the pet attack command from the pet spellbook onto the Pet ID button you want it on.[/EDIT]

Hi!

Hmm build my posession bar.. but it doesnt "flip" if I have "posession" of something.
If I go into edit-mode switch the bar to posession, the buttons are shown, but if I leave the edit mode...the bar disappears.... dont see what I missed..so the bar dont leave the normal state and switch to posession

cheers

pretty sure all my traps are firing fine on my nub hunter. you might want to try disabling everything BUT mac and seeing if they work or not since others are not having the problem.

Re: Re: Hunter traps and the trap launcher

I posted this a little earlier, you might try it. There is some weird problem with trap launcher. I'm pretty sure it's on Blizzard's end. Anyway...

-----------------------

Try changing your macros to these (assuming you're using a cast sequence).

/castsequence reset=3 Trap Launcher, Ice Trap(Frost - Trap Launcher)

For the fire traps:

/castsequence reset=3 Trap Launcher, Explosive Trap(Fire - Trap Launcher)

And for the snake trap:

/castsequence reset=3 Trap Launcher, Snake Trap(Nature - Trap Launcher)

The game automagically casts the correct spell for some people and for others it doesn't, so you have to force it to cast the mysterious, hidden trap spell in order to get it to work right.

-----------------------

If you don't want a cast sequence, and you want trap launcher traps and normal traps on the same macro, you might try this instead as an example:

/cast Ice Trap
/cast Ice Trap(Frost - Trap Launcher)

It should use the normal ice trap, and the "special" trap launcher ice trap if you've used trap launcher. Of course, it might not work at all. The bugs with trap launcher are really, really weird. My hunter is fine without the special trap spells, but I know a few who have to use them to get the launcher to function correctly.

Either way, good luck.
Thanks for this I'll try it, But I am 99.99% sure its macaroon thats causing the problem as when I disable it all the traps work fine in the launcher :S

Active aura button colour

This has slightly been bugging me for a little while, when I have my buttons as macros and have a death knight presence on, the inside of the border turns white (white and yellow maybe?).

Issue is that if I choose the Aura Watch Hightlight to be on and red, the button border is still white, but with a tint of red.

Now, if I change the button to an Action ID of the BlizzBar buttons, the white border thing isn't anywhere to be seen, the red Aura thingie is - that's what I want.
But what is the white thing? And is there some way to not have it in the way of the settings I want to show? ;P

I've inactivated ButtonFacade as I thought it was that at first, and nothing else is causing it (tried with only Macaroon on)

Update

Tried the previous version (40000.1.11). It works, sort of:

When I load a profile onto a blank slate it will write the primary spec buttons, including macros. It will write the secondary spec buttons, excluding macros. However, when I'm in the secondary spec and hit "load profile" again, it will then load the secondary spec macros. Which is something the current version doesn't do.

So, that's a huge step in the right direction for me.

Yes, but that is irrelevant. MacaroonProfiles.lua saves correctly. When I open the file with jEdit I can see the profile settings, so I know it's saved them. The problem occurs when I try to load the profile. It only writes the primary spec and leaves out the secondary spec.

In order to accurately test it you have to remove the Macaroon.lua file from your character's saved variables folder. If you don't, you'll never know that it's not loading the secondary spec because Macaroon.lua already has all of your settings in it. So the entire point is to create a blank slate and then load a profile to see if it is functioning.

This is happening on three separate computers with different addons, so it's not an incompatibility issue that way. Again, the profile saves fine, it just does not write to Macaroon.lua fully. In order to fix my Macaroon I have to manually copy the profile from MacaroonProfiles.lua and paste it into Macaroon.lua by using a text editor.
