Hi Guys, thanks or all the work you're doing on this fantastic addon.

I'm having a few issues with creating flyouts. I find they work fine until you start creating a few against a few alts (i.e. a lot of flyout menus). I use them quite a lot for everything from mounts and companions to spell categories, potions etc.

My problem is, now I have so many, some of them are going a bit pear-shaped. My mount and companion flyout no longer activate correctly when I create them - i.e. a flyout copied from one alt won't activate on another alt. The code looks ok:

/flyout companion:critter:linear:right:left:12:click

and I have no obselete macaroons addons installed. Is there a limit to how many flyouts I can have across my alts?

Thanks in advance.

I understand a bit more.

/click [bonusbar:5] <whatgoeshere>
/stopmacro [bonusbar:5]

Put that at the start of my 1-4 bindings and I'll be good to go. But...what goes in the <whatgoeshere> part?

And if I take your original reply and swap the word 'state' for 'spec' I understand it more. Is that what you meant?

And in case it was that last part.. when you ride a tournament horse, or control a machine you get a Vehicle bar, however when you Mindcontrol or take control a mob or npc one could say you possess them and so you get a Possess bar.

Tecnically they are both the same: [bonusbar:5] with actionID: 121-132
But there is a difference. The Possess bar is shown when you're not in a vehicle you get the Possess bar: [bonusbar:5, novehicleui]
and when your in a vehicle you get the vehicle bar:[vehicleui].

Clarification: [vehicleui] this is a macro conditional for the vehicle state.

So, any idea if this has been an issue or if the nut is loose holding the wheel?
Haven't had the opportunity to take him on myself. but from what I understand you take control of his DKs and that's where you vant your Vehicle bar?
This sounds to me like it really should be a Possess bar and not a Vehicle one. Create one and go again.

This doesn't happen with vehicles which is awesome.

This seems hard or impossible to fix but if it could be fixed it would be awesome.

Also [stance:1/3] would be the same as [stance:1] [stance:3]

And.. If you want to make the arms/berzerk bar disappear when in defence stance you could jusy as well use a preset stance bar and remap the berzerk state to the arms state instead. Unless you really need/want the bar in different positions for different stances.

Just Checked yes I do, I just left out the [] my mistake.

I haven't tried this myself but, perhaps it works on an ActionID button. Other than that.. there has to be a macro one can make to swap to a specific gear set in equipment manager. Probably says somewhere on WoWWiki.
Yeah, actually fixed that before checking back here. Looked it up. /equipset "some equipment set name here"
Thanks for the suggestion.

For the part of the lost macro, I usually get the same, this is due to the fact that you have to SAVE the profile after any changes (in fact, before the profile loading).

If I well understood, Macaroon uses currently 3 profiles for your character :

A - spec 1.
B - spec 2.
C - current profile loaded.

So, when you change any setting, this is the C (current profile) that is changed.

But, when you switch your spec, A or B get loaded and replace the content of the C profile.

To be clear, this makes sense in a certain way, but makes me crazy as I spend all my time to change buttons and forgetting them (I have to many toons, and too many bars... xD).

Maul, if you can one day add a setting to ensure that all changes to the current profile are saved on the corresponding profile for spec changes, this would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wonderfull, no more hasle to hit this save profile button / macro xD

EDIT : there is also an enhancement request for this feature Autosave current profile
Ty for the info, will do on all my toons... 2 accounts, more 80s than is sane... may take me awhile ;-)

I'm having a fairly odd problem with flyout macros.

I was able to make a nice and generic mount one last night with no issues but when I logged in today it only shows one mount. I tried to fix it by recreating via the flyout menu but when I press "create" nothing happens. At all.

So I deleted the macro from that button and all of sudden everything went nuts. I can no longer put anything on that space, nor can I select it while in button edit mode (clicking on it acts if I'm changing the active state of the bar). Even stranger, I can't put anything else on it despite it still claiming to be a macro button. I had to end up deleting the bar and recreating which was no huge loss but still annoying.

I've since made a bar with a single button and attempted to make a flyout macro and have the same results. As soon as I finish selecting my options and press create, nothing happens.

Well, that is fine. If you don't want those parts of Macaroon you dont have to just as long as you dont have any other Macaroon folder or Macaroon SavedVariables than the ones I listed.
Fewer is ok, more is not.
Actually I added all the components and then just disabled the ones I don't want, and all is well my action bars now switch properly and paint properly when I switch specs. Thanks for the help.

The changelog notes #cdwatch as an additional macro command but I can't get it to show for some reason.

#showicon

both work perfectly I'm happy to say

#cdwatch Vendetta
/cast mutilate()

is the button macro just for the record.
hmm.. added Vendetta to another button as an action ID, and THIS button recieves the #CDWatch CD countdown instead of the Macro button intended.
( The Vendetta ActionID button now has two CD text overlays, one with the standard button text, one with the macro button (blue) text overlayed, generated by #CDWatch )

or so it appears.
