That should do it for each of your toons. To get paged bars on any state being active. However if you don't need to have paged bars on your cat form just make the stealth one.
yea that should do it, but like i mentioned I made the stanced bar for the main bar and linked the paged bar for normal and linked another paged bar for stealth but it doesn't show up when the stance bar hits stealth

You want to have a paged stance bar that reacts to combat?
Then basically you need to go about it the opposite way. You make a bar that reacts to combat then a stance bar then the paged bars. Link the paged bars to the different stances and link the stance bar to the combat state. This should have the paged bars show when their linked stance is triggered and since the stance bar only activates when in combat so should the paged bars.

If, however, this should not be the case then link the combat bar to the stance bar instead. This will require two additional combat bars though one for each stance.

The workhore bars is not new at all, it is listed in the FAQ under I like to make really really really complex bars.
(well something like that)

Basically you make one bar act on another bars different states.
so you set up a stance bar then link a paged bar to that stance bars first stance and you got pages for the first stance. make another paged bar for the second stance and again for the third and you got yourself a stancebar with pages. Only that it's 4 bars where you'll need to put the 3 page bars on top of each other to simulate one bar.

Ah, I see. Well, easy way or not, it sure should be possible since there is a difference.

the workhorse has been around for, well, as long as i've used macaroon, and that seems like ages now.

here is a link to the page that explains how they work (it might be out of date, now, but if so, it should just take a little experimenting to figure out how it works now):

http://www.wowinterface.com/portal.php?id=221&a=faq&faqid=361

[edit] then again, that page looks a lot different than i remember, so maybe it has been updated, idk. [/edit]

I'm not that good at the custom states configuration but I could probably help you set up a workhorse bar relation.

About the "Autohide:Modkey"
Maul have the code for it and is going to implement the ability to do what I set up for you in 3.x However since Maul is going over the code for autohide and alpha (he has 2 different codes for that atm) he didn't want to put it in there just yet until he sort of merged the codes together.
I could however pretty simply update my fan version until that time. Done.

I thought the Aura watch text and highlight worked on target.
I believe I've seen it work for me at least:
Have target selected: show buff timer and highlight for my buffs on target.
No target selected: show buff timer and highlights for my buffs on me.

Not sure if mouse over ever have worked but I have never needed it. besides.. making it work I believe will require more CPU since it'd require to rescan all variables for a button on mouse over change which happens almost all the time.

This action damages the Macaroon saved variables. For my dualspec bars, it will invariably delete all of the buttons on wheatever bar happens to be the current alt-spec. So if i try to login and i'm in spec:2, it will delete all of the buttons on spec:1. The bars and layout will remain, but all of the macros will be gone.

Again, this is only when i try to login, but am immediately kicked back out, due to network issues. But it's happened a few times in the last 2 weeks.
I would believe that the toon getting logged out before the world appears on your screen makes macaroon load incompletely and then gets logged out before it has managed to populate the alternative states buttons with the macros. But as it is logging out is saves the variables of the buttons thus making them blank.

As long as you have saved your bars in a profile with button data you should be able to reload that profile and go on playing when you manage to get logged in properly.

I realize there are a number of bugs that are still being worked out, and I imagine this might be on the list of "known problems". Just the same, I wanted to make a small post about it.

I am a huge fan of Macaroon and have been since the beginning. I hope it never goes away.
I've been hearing about similar problems please do check the bug list and see if there is a bug report on it, if not create one and if there is put in your comments and thoughts. You never know, it might help.
