A question about that. You don't use a normal state or [] everything else state. Will the [stance:2] state then really hide? Someone posted something about using a [] state which was, to my understanding, to make it work properly.

Also [stance:1/3] would be the same as [stance:1] [stance:3]

And.. If you want to make the arms/berzerk bar disappear when in defence stance you could jusy as well use a preset stance bar and remap the berzerk state to the arms state instead. Unless you really need/want the bar in different positions for different stances.

If I remember correctly that is the second stance.

Code:
[stance:1]
[stance:2]
[stance:3]

Thanks for the reply Dwargh, but i know that. Been using Macaroon since TrinityBars so i'm pretty familiar with Macaroon.
At the moment i'm making a Broker ActionMenu (great addon) Menu Group for Macaroon.
It looks and behaves like an LDB addon, but you don't need the have any knowledge about lua coding to make it (just what i need ).

I've put a lot of those commands you mentioned from the Macaroon_Read_Me.txt in there, but strangely one important command is missing: The Main Bar Editor.
It's a very handy menu but not easy accessible, would be nice if you could enter it with one single mouse-click.
So that's what i'm trying to do with Broker ActionMenu.

I know there's an LDB addon for Macaroon, but i think it's horrible:
You need to press all kinds of wicked <shift> <ctrl> <alt> "left mouse-button" "right mouse-button" combinations and it doesn't even have an option to lock / unlock the ActionBars.
It sure doesn't do justice to a top notch addon like Macaroon. MacaroonFu was way better, but i've put all FuBar addons to rest, R.I.P. FuBar, i've got a new love now: Bazooka.

There's a request ticket hanging somewhere in Maul's Kitchen about making an LDB addon like MacaroonFu, but it's very busy in there (no idea what he's cooking between all those Coke cans ), so i can understand he has more important things on his mind with all those bug tickets hanging around the oven and other projects he's busy with.

I hope when everything is quiet again, after the Cataclysm introduction Storm lies down, he will find some will and time to cook an LDB addon for Macaroon, but till that time this looks like a nice solution.

Good luck and many thanks both of you !!!

Well, that is fine. If you don't want those parts of Macaroon you dont have to just as long as you dont have any other Macaroon folder or Macaroon SavedVariables than the ones I listed.
Fewer is ok, more is not.

Editing a button insid button Storage

When I edit a button in button storage the binding text and button type test are on a higher strata then the button edit popup window. The edit window is on a higher strata then the storage window, but the text from the storage window shows right thru the edit window.

This never happened to me in Macaroon prior to 4.0, is there something I can do to fix this? This might not be a problem for most, but at 1024x768 there is only so much room to work with. Is there a way to change the strata of the text on the button that is shown when you enter button edit mode within button storage?

Re: Equipment and macro issue

This is by far one of the most comprehensive, best over all ad dons I have come across in almost 6 years of WOW play. So I am pretty sure this issue is not a bug but something I cannot figure out. Sometimes when I try to place macros on my bars using macaroon they do not show up. Or disappear when I switch specs. Also I cannot figure out how to put Equipment Manager Profile buttons on a macaroon Bar. I can do so under Blizz ui without Macaroon loaded, but who wants to play using Blizz when we have macaroon?
The Equipment Manager is easy. Say you have an equipment set named Full Set. All you have to do is make a macro that says "/equipset Full Set". You have to put the exact name of the set, and it is case sensitive. Just edit the button to have that macro, and you're good to go!

The disappearing when you switch specs, make sure the bar you are putting the buttons on is not set for dual specs. Go into Bar Editor, right click on the bar you want to edit so that the GUI comes up, and make sure Dual Spec is set to Off.

Hi, i have a problem on german client since yesterday after patch 4.0.3a roll out. When i switch to 2specc the buttons are empty or the spells are not correct? I can only logout and login, that solves the problem? But after switching back to 1specc its the same. Is it a patch problem?

I can tell you what Macaroon.lua files you should have in the WTF/Account/<account>/<realm>/<toon>/SavedVariables

Macaroon.lua
MacaroonAlerts.lua
MacaroonBound.lua
MacaroonStatusBars.lua
MacaroonTotembar.lua
MacaroonXtras.lua

And their respective *lua.bak files ofc.
and what Macaroon folders you should have in the Interface/AddOn folder.

MacaroonAlerts
MacaroonBound
MacaroonProfiles
MacaroonStatusBars
MacaroonTotembar
MacaroonXtras
Any thing else with Macaroon in it should be removed.
[/b][/quote]

I don't have MacaroonAlerts.lua, MacaroonStatusBars.lua, MacaroonTotembar.lua, or MacaroonXtras.lua in SavedVariables.

Curse is having issues with their hosting service. The file I uploaded to Curse is identical to the one here on WoWI. Once I hear that Curse's issues have been resolved, I will double-check the Curse version.
