Features -

  • Every button in Macaroon is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.
Commands -
  • Type /ion to display a list of available commands, which are:
menu: Toggle the main menu
storage: Open the button storage area
create: Create a blank bar
delete: Delete the currently selected bar
config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
shape: Change current bar's shape
name: Change current bar's name
strata: Change current bar's frame strata
alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'
arcstart: Set current bar's starting arc location (in degrees)
arclen: Set current bar's arc length (in degrees)
columns: Set the number of columns for the current bar
padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding
padv: Set current bar's vertical padding
padhv: Adjust both horizontal and vertical padding of the current bar incrementally
showgrid: Toggle the current bar's showgrid flag

Did i something wrong ? Same Problem by Prophet Tharon'ja is the last boss of Drak'Tharon Keep. When he's making Decay Flesh i must become a new Bar with abilities but nothing.

Might it be in 3.x you used the Macaroon Control bar? Which was both a vehicle and possess bar. So those specific events might be possesses. Adding a possess state might solve it. Worth a try anyways. Otherwize you can always make a custom state [bonusbar:5] which will cover them both.

Ok i have a problem.

I have made a Vehicle Bar and it works great but....^^

In the old Version befor the Patch when i go ICC Blood-Queen Lana'thel and she is bite me after the debuff is gone i must bite a Player and the "Vampiric Bite" was shown in the Vehicle Bar.

Now with the Patch and the new Version its not working !?

Macaroon 4 (40000.1.10) has a problem relating to bar scale.

- My Macaroon 3 profiles are the default bar scale of 1.0, so it CANNOT be that the Scale property in Macaroon has been renamed, because then it would just default to 1.0, which is exactly the scale my bars are saved as. Hence: We can rule out renaming of parameters in Macaroon 4.

- I can confirm that the Macaroon bars are children of UIParent and still follow global UI Scale (the one settable in WoW video options -> advanced), so it's not a simple GUI parenting problem.

- I am running the latest ButtonFacade, but disabling that did not fix the problem.

- Disabling EVERY ADDON EXCEPT Macaroon did not fix the problem, so the problem is CONFIRMED to be some change in Macaroon 4.

- The ONLY possibility is that you have made the default button size (in pixels) larger than before, and that we'll have to lower scale to get the same relative size as we had in Macaroon 3?! That would be REALLY stupid, since it has always had one particular size for all these years and people's profiles are saved using the previous size as reference point, so I really hope you haven't increased the button sizes on purpose. I had a quick look in the source and it looks like buttons are set to be 22x22 pixels in both v3 and v4, and since I use a scale of 1 in both v3 and v4 I have no idea what is going on with the increased size. You know what's been changed in Macaroon's source, so any ideas what the cause is? Is it a bug or on purpose? If it was on purpose, please show me where to fix it and please consider going back to the previous default size.

The latest version of Macaroon looks horrible due to this:



You also see two other problems:

- All macro buttons with custom icons have received new icons. It's as if you store macro button icons by offset rather than icon name (i.e. 80 rather than INV_Misc_Bag_01 for example)?

- The text overlay showing which key is bound to that button now floats outside the button above the top right corner. It should be INSIDE the button in the top right corner.

Rather self explanatory I'd think. It animates the menus.. so lets say you don't have that now, the menus will just pop up. but if you have that checked the menus will grow from a certain point. Just try it out if you want to it's only a gui visibility thing.

still love this addon although i think it is becoming more and more complicated and sometimes i wish for simpler days or a package with the essentials bunled together; instead of trying to figure out wot each optional file does as the names always appear to be changing which does get rather confusing

anyways simple question wot does animated menus do?

Its seems that issue is from Button Facade latest alpha-and it also seems some skins will work some wont -depends if author of skin updated for changes in latest alpha

Spell problem

Macaroon seems to have an occasional problem with "Holy Word: Sanctuary" in a macro. possibly blizzard's macro code though...

Works SOME of the time, but not all the time. Works fine on an Action ID button as the raw spell. didn't try an action ID button with a blizzard macro.

What ButtonFacade skin are you using... I'm using the Dark Hex and all my buttons render perfectly.

That's exactly what it is. When you mentioned it, I disabled my ButtonFacade and everything's all lined up nicely.

I was doing the "<Healing Spell>" thing just to give an image of <insert stuff here>. the "<>" aren't needed.

I guess it's okay really, probably helpful, if I change my methods. I used to like all my config setups in as few places as possible. If I have to now use Blizzards macro interface, but still drop them in macaroon bars, it's not that big of a deal. I normally don't have any macros in the Blizzard storage area.
i'm not a macro guy, but i noticed there was a missing > after the word "<healing spell" and before the ;

would that cause the break?
