Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
  • autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar

  • alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
  • alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'

  • padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding

Yeah i had the newest version installed.
But i cant find anywhere to enable the minimap, well i have tried to enable the normal miniumap with shortcut key, but that dident work either.
And there is no options for macaroon minimap, at least none that i have found

I got my minimap back, when i disabled Macaroon minimap addone.

I deleted the Lau files in SavedVariables, and used Load Profile, and the minimap disaperes right away.

Just got dual spec for my hunter, and same thing happend to it there, minimap disapered right away

Do you need the lau file to look at?
Any 1 that can help me here?

First, to Maul:

Thank you so much for all of your time developing such a wonderful addon. There are obviously legions of users that love this thing. It is far superior to any other bar mod I've tried. I know it is a huge burden to maintain something like this. Especially when you have users that may not appreciate the effort required. You have always handled the users with class and that in itself takes a lot of energy. Thank you for your efforts.

To the rest of the users:

I have read some books and done some minor LUA coding/debugging. I am not a LUA expert by any means but am a programmer by trade. I do not have the time/energy to "lead" a project like this, but am certainly willing to contribute some development time if anyone is trying to put together a team. i also use xperl, and when in any vehicle it converts my player frame to the vehicle, and displays power just fine.

if you want the bells and whistles instead of plain utility, you can always enable the blizz bar for vehicles.

i honestly fail to see wot this has to do with my unit frames mod

i use x-perl and the pet frames shows buffs, happiness etc and everything else as it should do why would it show the power bar when it is alongside the vehicle buttons on the vehicle bar on default Ui ?

that would more likely be an issue with a unit frame mod that you use. make sure you have any pet or vehicle options turned on, and also to see the power bar of it. if you don't have a unit frame mod, don't know what to tell you oO

hi maul

i also tried the new minimap but i use minimapbuttonframe adddon to collect my addons button and i found that they appearred to conflict so i disabled it

i recently found a problem with the vehicle bar. i have it setup and use it for everything but i fnally started uldaar and the during the flame leviathon fight i could not see how much pyro power i had. is there a way around this or must i just enable blizzards vehicle bar?

I just found that there is a macaroon minimap, but I disabled it for the time being since I use Chinchilla..

has anyone tried out the macaroon version? is it good? Lol

project mini map

hi maul and nice to hear from you and hope everything turns out well for my favorite addon writer.

i tested your new mini map version but as with all mac users i found the problem of my ui turning in to ? so returned to the older version.

i really like the idea of mini map being worked on and i used to have a addon that made me able to move the addon buttons to any place what so ever on screen. i had to give up that addon as it caused problems but now with your mini map thoughts for 3.3 i hope that that option might be there.

thx so much for a lovely addon that you have maintained for lots of years

This would be a good fix. The current code uses an old standard SaveBindings(GetCurrentBindingSet()), however with the change to save bindings on the server, GetCurrentBindingSet now returns some unique server ID number (e.g. 3411244553122) that is not 1 or 2. I have not found a solution to figuring out the current "all or by character" binding set (i.e. 1 or 2) to use with that line of code. Should not be hard to recode, though.

As an aside, something drastic recently changed (a family member passed, and they were caretaking for another family member) and I find myself helping out for the next month. As this caretaking is 24/7 currently, I may have a bunch of free time to perhaps issue a commented versions with fixes as current as the 3.3 patch. My normal account is out of time, but I still have access to the ptr. This is not a promise but I may be able to leave the project in better shape than it is now.

Also, I thought I should note, that the recent license change versions include some addons/code I was working on but never released. I released it if anyone wanted to see where I was going. Some of it is beta code (such as Macaroon Minimap)

Are you currently using 30100.2.6? That's the version I'm still using, on PC and Mac.
