Helium 2.1.1 - Bug fixes

Helium 2.1 - Update to WOW 7.2
- Removed legacy morph spell code
- Removed legacy trap launcher code
- Code clean up
- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.
- Added a Shadow Dance bar state for Subtlety rogues when using the "Stealth" bar state. This allows for a separate Stealth and Shadow Dance bars to be used. Users can opt to remap the Stealth bar to the Shadow Dance state if they want a single bar state
- Fix for issue where dragging a item to the bar when the editor was open would overwrite the home state macro.
- Fixed issue where macro text would not clear between bar states.
- Fixed some issues with flyouts not generating correctly.
- Added flyout macro generator to the button editor window.

Kicked

Blizzard has the tendency to kick me while using this mod on login. By research, I have deduced that this is caused by the button section of Macaroon (not loading Macaroon lets me in, or deleting Macaroon.lua).

Things that have correlated around getting kicked at login: long load times (perhaps dc from inactive "convo" with server?), Macros that use trinkets, lots of long macros

Re: Can't drag spells onto bars :(

I'm using the version that was in Macaroon_3.1_Preview.zip
Sometimes I get a Bliizard UI error
Interface\AddOns\Macaroon\Macaroon_Buttons.lua:3384: Invalid slot in PickupPetAction when I try to drag a spell from my book and place it on a button.Other times I dont get the error but I cant place any spells on a button so I usually just delete that bar and try again.Sometimes when I add buttons to a new bar spell icons appear in some of the buttons, sometimes keybinds appear.Sometimes I can add spells to some of the buttons in a bar but not all of them, and other times if I change my mind about a spells placement, I drag the spell out, try to drag in a new spell and it wont go in that slot.
I need to know what will make it so everytime I drag a spell onto a button it will click onto it.
From a gameplay perspective, lets say I want to swap my Ice block off my middle mouse and add a SGM-3 rocket macro for a daily.I would hate to have to delete a 20 button bar and start again if it bugs out on me.

When I create a new bar and add buttons I start seeing icons from a previously created bar and I cant drag spells onto that.
What am I doing wrong?
What version of Macaroon are you using?
Does the bar you create have buttons when you make(button count+) the buttons on that bar, or are the buttons of that bar empty as you create them?
Have you loaded a saved setting from another character?
Is the buttons in a macro button state or in an action button state?
what do you mean by locking the spell down?
Could you elaborate a little more.

Since Macaroon doesn't use Blizzard's button or button frames, I believe this is the same issue as with third party unit frames.

I've seen this several times, and since I don't really DC much, I've never seen it as a huge obstacle. The frames would behave as described, with very strange positioning all over the screen, often overlapping in strange ways. I'm not using the preview version, still using the old live version right now.
yep, have had this happen with mac and xperl. also don't dc hardly ever so it never concerned me much. (the versions we've been using for months, not the pre-patch)

In response to your question, Maul, yes -- it is the pre-patch version.

Still does it.

Thank you Maul for attempting to help me.

I have plenty of experience manipulating some lua files (I use a custom oUF layout) so finding the code and replacing it with the code you gave me was easy.

Unfortunately the problem still exists. Manually shift it into zerker stance once my player is in the approriate stance, try logging out to "save" the bar in that stance. Log back in, no go. Reverts to Battle.

I'll just manually switch it for now until we figure it out. It's not a horrible deal, I just can't go into/out of Berserker Stance while in combat, but I don't PvP so I don't think it's going to make the warrior unplayable or anything.

Once again, thanks for taking your personal time to try and help me yesterday.

This only tends to happen when I raid, but when I am in combat (and for a reason I have yet to figure out, I d/c) I re-log into WoW and my bars, which I stack in a 7button horizontal row -- 3 rows high, are stacked on-top of each other.

For a visual example, consider this shotty re-enactment:

Normal:
O O O O O O O

O O O O O O O

O O O O O O O

After d/c:
O O O O O O O
O O O O O O O
O O O O O O O

These buttons actually overlap, and until I am out of combat (which if I d/c in the middle of a boss fight -- really sucks) they are stuck like that.

I have to /console reloadui when I'm out of combat for the problem to get fixed.

On a side note: If anyone knows why I'd be disconnecting only during combat, I'd love the feedback. I think the reasoning has to do with something being overworked, and Blizzard just booting me. My computer can handle the workload, as I'm generally at 35-40 fps in mid-combat raids.
My internet connection is a wireless adapter to a wireless router to 16 Meg High-Speed Internet...

I know this isn't the forum for this kind of question, but someone else might be having a similar issue with it.

Thank you in advance for any help =)
Is this with the patch preview version?

Cannot get Berserker stance to function.

All other stance changes and swaps fine. Setup 12 buttons, placed abilities in the bar by manually left clicking the stance bar over to Zerker Stance while in bar edit mode.

Leave bar edit mode, switch stances - Def and Battle fine. Zerker does not work. My stance "shifts" according to Blizz - leaving me unable to use abilities not allowed by Berserker Stance, but the bar itself doesn't swap.
Did you learn Berserker stance recently? If so, please email me your saved variables file to [email protected]. Learning stances, particularly for warriors, is very hard to test. Chances are something is messed up in making Macaroon "aware" of the new stance.
