Features -

Commands -
  • Type /ion to display a list of available commands, which are:
menu: Toggle the main menu
storage: Open the button storage area
create: Create a blank bar
delete: Delete the currently selected bar
config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
shape: Change current bar's shape
name: Change current bar's name
strata: Change current bar's frame strata
alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'
arcstart: Set current bar's starting arc location (in degrees)
arclen: Set current bar's arc length (in degrees)
columns: Set the number of columns for the current bar
padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding
padv: Set current bar's vertical padding
padhv: Adjust both horizontal and vertical padding of the current bar incrementally

Indeed it is something that I have changed, but overall the change was for the better (I think). I just have to work out the side effects.

Basically, on live I have started to multi-box. Yes, I wanted a zhevra mount so while the other account is active, I am leveling multiple characters at once.

I found, though, through making macros like

/assist party1
/cast somespell

that the parser that Trinity/Macaroon uses was reading "party1" as a spell. So I refined the code a bit so that would not happen. It seems to have had some unintended side effects which I hope to work out with all the good feedback, which I do appreciate

Edit: And thus the reason for Macaroon. I leveled my mage to 70...I need macros. I am running multiple characters at once...I need macros. I got tired of changing all the buttons to macros in Trinity and felt the 5 button types were redundant. Spell, item and slot can all be done via macro

I haven't actually had time to play in the beta with .17 or .18, so this may have been added in one of those versions (or I may just have missed it!) but: since it's possible to have different numbers of buttons on a bar depending on the current state, would it be possible to add an anchor setting controlling how the buttons filled in? For example, in State A my bar has 6 buttons, but in State D it only has 1 button. No state has more than 6 buttons. In this case, let's say that State A (the bar's maximum width) takes up 180 units of screen space, while State D only takes up 30 units. Currently, those 30 units are anchored to the center of the 180-unit space. I'd like to anchor them instead to say, the left side of the 180-unit space.

Seems like icon graphics aren't changing based on the skill usable. Is this normal?

E.G. macro:
/cast [stance:1,harm,nocombat] Premeditation; Envenom

So icons on all my cast buttons with similar macros like the above one aren't changing icons at all.

Ohh yes, I use last version of Macaroon always.

Actually, I was thinking of doing something like this where you can left or right justify a bar.

Hmm, I don't see why that macro should not be changing but thanks for the info and I will check it out.

Edit: Hmm, perhaps provide me another macro. The above seems to behave identical to a Blizzard macro on a Blizzard button in version 18.1 (which is how I check for Macaroon Icon/Tooltip behavior)

TOC File: Version Number

Maul: Please remember to change the version number in the TOC file as you upload each new build. It makes comparison testing (so I can load one version, then an older version, to see what the practical differences might be) much easier when I can directly identify the version number.


edit: Macaroon .18.1 seems to have resolved the macro icon issues!

I know! This is probably one of my worst habits I have been thinking about writing a perl script to make the zip files so I can prompt myself for a version and change it in the files.

And woot! for things getting resolved!

Ok the issue was that when I moved the macros onto the buff I didnt set the macro icon to "?" I assumed it will be like that and Macaroon noticed the macros. Macaroon set some random icon graph I guess and for some reason I thought they are new skill graphs but they aren't changing.

So now that I set all macro graph to "?" they working great. Thanks!

sorry I guess I didn't say it right.

I mean when I hit auto-hide option it hides the bar in any state, I was wondering if I could have it with my custom states it would hide for [harm] but show for [help]. Like so each state could choose auto-hide the same way it can have a different number of buttons?

Ah, okay, I see. You would like to be able to specify which state autohide works on. Currently, not possible, but I like the idea...I'm a pondering

Okay, great It sounds like the issue you are having is an issue (similar and/or related) I am looking into that JM mentioned.

Seems like the icon problem was fixed. However, Macaroon is still not following the #showtooltip command.

#showtooltip Judgement of Wisdom
/startattack [nomod]
/cast [mod:shift] Judgement of Wisdom


It will only display the cooldown for Judgement of Wisdom if I hit SHIFT when it should be displaying the cooldown -all- the time due to #showtooltip being set for the judgement. Every macro I have a #showtooltip set to override the default display is not working correctly.
