Features -

  • An unlimited number of macros, create as many bars/buttons as you want/need per character!

  • Every button in Ion is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands - Type /ion alone to display a list of available commands, which are:
  • menu: Toggle the main menu
  • storage: Open the button storage area
  • create: Create a blank bar
  • delete: Delete the currently selected bar
  • config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
  • add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
  • remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
  • edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
  • bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
  • scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
  • snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
  • autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar

  • alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)

- Removed legacy morph spell code

- Reworked Rogues stealth bars to use the stance setting. This should allow them shadow dance to change bars correctly. This change will probably result in lost old style stealth layouts.
- Added a Shadow Dance bar state for Subtlety rogues when using the "Stealth" bar state. This allows for a separate Stealth and Shadow Dance bars to be used. Users can opt to remap the Stealth bar to the Shadow Dance state if they want a single bar state
- Fix for issue where dragging a item to the bar when the editor was open would overwrite the home state macro.
- Fixed issue where macro text would not clear between bar states.
- Fixed some issues with flyouts not generating correctly.
- Added flyout macro generator to the button editor window.

Hi Maul, Loved your addons since Trinity first was about!

The problem I am having at the moment is only with one of my characters. When I try to log onto my druid with Macaroon enabled, I get stuck on the loading screen for ages and then disconnected.

This happens with all other addons turned off and if i disable Macaroon is stops happening and I can log in fine.

Any Ideas?

Where are you when this happens? Is this a fresh install for the druid?

To start with i was in Dalaran but I logged in without Mac and moved to several other places including Ironforge, Shatt and several other random zones to test it.

By fresh install do you mean to clear the saved variables?

I mean, did this character already have a Macaroon UI setup? And if so, how many buttons? Or did this character have nothing in Macaroon setup for it yet?

So Maul, how goes the progress on the anchoring? Last i saw was it worked on PTR, have you tried again since patch?

(referring to autobar/zHunter style popup on hover mouse)

For the most part it is up and running, give it a try. It is available via button edit, 2nd page of options.

The only thing you can't really do right now is scale the anchor button. It makes things wacky

I will try it again... but maybe you would be so kind as to give me a rough explanation on the "how to"?

Currently, i can not get the rest of the bar to stop showing up on mouseover, when all i need is for the whole bar to show up upon hovering over the first button.

Quick question.

In Ulduar, the first boss requires you to drive vehicles very similar to those in Winter Grasp.

The Winter Grasp vehicles show up as vehicles in Macaroon, but the Ulduar vehicles abilites show up as a pet bar.



Is this a blizzard issue and how its suppose to work? Or is this a Macaroon issue? Being a hunter, i cant really have my main bar change to a pet bar for this encounter (well i could, but would require me to change my bar setups each time).

EDIT: After asking around, Bartender 4 it takes over the main bar (like vehicles should). So this may be a macaroon issue.

I had this problem on the first char I loaded up and I have a feeling it is a problem with chars whose bars were "imported" using mauls import tool on the last major patch.. Fortunately I had saved all my wtf/saved variable files and simply deleted all the macaroon wtf/saved variable files, reloaded wow for each character without any configuration. shut them down, then copied the original macaroon.lua file back into the wtf folder again and it all worked fine.. Only some of my chars were affected..

Ello,

I'm having a rather strange problem with my action bars. Every time I change session (i.e. go through a loading screen), or switch spec (I've got profiling enabled for this, but it seems to happen even if I don't), my bars get completely messed up. They'll all squish down to the far corners, making them useless for clicking on (keybinds all work perfectly, however). A /reloadui tends to fix this, but it's not always saving my changes to the action bars either. :/

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, I don't have the stamina to read through this entire thread.

Possession Bar troubles

First off I love the bars and cant live with out them with that said...

I am still having a major problem with possession bars. most of the time when I get on a vehicle or a item that possesses then the bar will change and then flip back to my main bars. I go into the edit mode and see my current state is possess and my bars are listed as possess but when I double click on the main bar it switches to the possession bar. I now can not get out of edit mode because it will switch back to my main bar. Older versions I could switch this manually and it would at least stay in possession. Also the bars after being in possession would never switch back like the system didnt know I had left the vehicle and I would have to manually switch back.

Is this something I am doing wrong on the way my bar is built?

Any bar I clamp to the right or left side of the screen (either allowing it to "snap" to the edge, or turning "snap to" off and manually placing it against the side of screen) will randomly jump 20ish pixels or so towards center when I exit bar edit mode.

Doesn't even need to be against the edge really. Any bars placed within 20ish pixels of the right or left side of screen will jump towards the center.
