It is a buff bar mod that really has just amazed me, and its going to get alot of play cause everyone is looking for new buff mods since blizzard made removing buffs a secure function and broke everyones old buff mod.

There is a module in Raven called Highlights that is designed to work with Bartender4, Dominos and Macaroon and I did not have it configured properly.

All is well now though
Aha. Well, I made a change to the skin code for BF on Macaroon's side anyhow which should not change anything for you then

1) Raises the buttons above the bar. Sometimes when you are in bar edit mode you may just want to do something with the buttons themselves without exiting or going into button edit mode which places an editframe over the buttons. I needed this feature myself so I added it

2) These options are mutually exclusive and I probably should adjust the bar editor if the profile option is checked to hide that option. Switching profiles on spec changes basically re-builds then entire Macaroon UI. The option on the bar merely tells the buttons to load a second set of data, much like how the Blizzard buttons work.

When Discord Action Bars died, I tried to take my outdated programming skills to lua and failed miserably. Keeping track of api changes, and jumping the hoops Blizz puts in front of mod devs can't be easy. You take the time to answer questions, consider feature requests, and do so with a pleasant tone. What you and your team do for this community is appreciated, and I for one salute you.

Last I'd checked, I thought you were leaving Macaroon and possibly WoW. I must've missed the announcement that you were back, but boy do I appreciate it. I probably wouldn't quit the game if a few select people stopped updating their mods (you, Tekkub, Shadowed, Aezey) but ... I'm a programmer myself, and more than my toons themselves (which are just like every other high-level toon of the same class) my UI is where I really pour my heart into this game. Macaroon is such an integral part of my UI because it is so flexible, and I'm ecstatic to see all the changes that have been released recently. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Oh, and see new bug report from me in ticket tracker.

Dual spec - autosaving profiles

Hello, Thx for the bars - love them.
I need a little help here. I have custom bars - the layout is the same for both specs. Only the abilities on buttons are slightly different.

My question is: When i activate profile switching on spec change - it works ... but it uses the state of buttons from my last manual save of the profile. It means - when i make any change (and dont manualy save profile) the change is gone after spec change (forth and back).

Is there any way of autosaving profile on spec change - or how to make it work, that it retains small changes made?

That's how I used to do it too. The easiest way to fix this is disable profile switching on spec change. The buttons themselves in a single profile will remember assigned spells for both specs automatically, and you'll almost never have to deal with profiles again.

Pet / Possess Bar

Supposedly I can make 1 bar to function as a Pet/Possess (I'm pretty sure I used to have macaroon set up this way for my Shadow Priest)? Now I have to create two separate bars.. If I create one bar and click both Pet and Possess the bar never shows up for either state.

I've been using this back from the Trinity days and pet/possess has always been the one area of functionality that I thought never has worked well in Macaroon but otherwise it kicks ass!

Count (combo points, holy power, shards, etc)

I am playing with the buttons, trying to see if I can make a button to show my holy power or shard count. The aura watch text and aura watch highlight seem promising but i'm not quite sure what they do as options. I do recall that at one point it was possible to get the combo point text on a button for a skill that used combo points.

I've seen you're still swamped with no time for documentation. Apologies but will ask here in the hopes the answer is an easy one.

PS - As long as I'm pestering, is there any way to copy a bar from one toon to the next? I'm about to dive into the floater bars and I don't want to have to build the consumables bar 20 times for 20 toons. Understood if it's too complex, hoping it's not.

Hunter Traps

Hope i'm not duplicating. i've been reading most the posts for several days, but have not seen any comments about Hunter Traps.

I want to make a Flyout for my Traps. When i enter the search key Trap, I get 10 options, the 5 traps and in between each is a Blank ?. But none of them work. You always get a "That is not ready" error message. Now even just dragging a trap to a button marked Macro gives the same message.

I'm able to use my traps by place them on ITEMID buttons. Does anyone have a solution for this? I might just be doing something wrong... THX

Almost true, I'm not sure the bars is set to change upon spec swap by default, but the option to have them do so is there.

If you're not using profile swap(seems like your not) then make sure those couple of bars that doesn't swap has the dual spec option turned on, you find it in the bar edit gui, second option above the "Edit Buttons" button

This is a known problem than unfortunately lies with Blizzard and their macro interpretation (or something like that), Same thing happens with Blizzard Macros. But yes.. it does work in ActionID buttons cos they work just like the Blizzard action bars.
