Button Facade support!
Every button in Macaroon is a macro button by default and in many ways they behave like normal action buttons. Buttons can also be set to be "action" or "pet" buttons.

Commands -

Type /ion to display a list of available commands, which are:

menu: Toggle the main menu
storage: Open the button storage area
create: Create a blank bar
delete: Delete the currently selected bar
config: Toggle configuration mode for all bars
add: Adds buttons to the currently selected bar (add or add #)
remove: Removes buttons from the currently selected bar (remove or remove #)
edit: Toggle edit mode for all buttons
bind: Toggle binding mode for all buttons
scale: Scale a bar to the desired size.
snapto: Toggle SnapTo for current bar
autohide: Toggle AutoHide for current bar
shape: Change current bar's shape
name: Change current bar's name
strata: Change current bar's frame strata
alpha: Change current bar's alpha (transparency)
alphaup: Set current bar's conditions to 'alpha up'
arcstart: Set current bar's starting arc location (in degrees)
arclen: Set current bar's arc length (in degrees)
columns: Set the number of columns for the current bar
padh: Set current bar's horizontal padding
padv: Set current bar's vertical padding
padhv: Adjust both horizontal and vertical padding of the current bar incrementally
showgrid: Toggle the current bar's showgrid flag
x: Change current bar's horizontal axis position
y: Change current bar's vertical axis position
state: Toggle states for the current bar (/mac state <state>). Type /mac statelist for vaild states
statelist: Print a list of valid states
load: Load a profile
lock: Lock buttons

- Forum version, include most hotfixes appearing on the forum (flyx, Nephyrin, chinoloco,kouik)

LS1S13 A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 1 File comments: 11 Uploads: 0	Anyone know if there's a way to fix the tooltips of the new way some spells/abilities are handled in MoP? For those that aren't aware, some spells now change to another spell based on your spec such as Rogue's Eviscerate changes to Envenom in Assassination and Warlock's Shadow Bolt changes to Malefic Grasp in Affliction, among others. What happens with Ion is that it will still only show the tooltip of the original spell which, while not a huge deal, is a bit annoying. Here's a screenshot of what I'm talking about: http://i.imgur.com/rApdiCw.jpg I'm mousing over what is Malefic Grasp but it shows the tooltip for it's original spell: Shadow Bolt. From answer it doesnt seem he even tested it.Hopefully the same code that made it posiable to work with old Macaroon is same code thats needed to work with new Ion.

Turns out, a background anti-virus program was running. I tried to drop out of WoW, but in the end, I had to Cntl-Alt-Del amd close WoW. Turns out, I could have just killed the anti-virus (Oh, GOD, how I wish I had done that). Nonetheless, when I logged back in, I got the primary message for this version of Ion, in the centered little rectangle, that it was Beta, blahblahblah, and a double line of buttons along the bottom. No problem, I thought, I'll just reload my profile. Except that when I click on the ION menu, the window is completely black. I came here and reinstalled the latest version into my AddOns, but no change. Any suggestions? I sincerely can't remember the last time I backed up my WTF, it's been since October, maybe? So I may not even have the proper info in the WTF backup if the main WTF is screwed. Yeah, I restarteed my PC, as well. Help?

So far it hasn't crashed WoW, but I have had the popup asking if I want to disable it or ignore. Menu Bar was so broke I had to disable it. Every kill would pop up an error message. I personally prefer the continued stability of what Ion does now over more features and the risk of more bugs (the price of added complexity). Especially if new features means it's too difficult for you to find the time to update Ion when Blizz decides to change things up. After all these years, there still isn't an action bar addon out there that can compare, so again, thank you!

I don't think anyone makes addons as a job. I'd wager that for most everyone it is a hobby when they have the free time. I personally know nothing about Maul's personal life, what he does for a job or school, what his free time is, how often he can sit down at a computer to work on code for an addon.

I can understand your frustration with Ion not working. A simple work around for me currently is to turn off the Menu Bar, and then set keyboard shortcuts for the windows you want to open. Using Cntrl, Shift, and Alt modifiers can give you many options.

Remember, Maul doesn't get paid for this addon. He asks for donations, but does not demand them by any stretch of the imagination.

Just give it time, maybe buy him a Coke.

Yes absolutely. I saw it only lately, as I'm doing reloadui for other fixes, and reloadui prevent this error to occur again.

Right now, doing a reloadui is a crappy workaround, and will let you use the pvp button. It's still far from a good solution, but better for nothing.

I'm also checking on other addons how they managed it (ie, it's the blizzard addon that trigger this before the first reload ui).
