This is because when you gain rep with scryers, you lose rep with aldor. The bar correctly shows scryers for about 0.00001 second before it processes the next rep change, which is aldor

I have been trying to figure out a way to not make this happen.

I have a couple issues to report, not sure where to report them, so I'll do it here.

1) If you create a bar for pet, check the pet option and put up spells with pet and no pet, if your pet dies in combat, you cant see the petbar spells anymore.

2) How do you make the bar auto swap your spells when there is a "special event". Like in Karazhan for the Chess Event, or Teron Gorefiend for the ghost mode?

Ah, perhaps one should just ask Blizz to make the Rep changes in the opposite order. with -rep first and +rep after.

Kara chess Event

I should probably read through and see if this has been adressed. But my pet bar works great for my own pet but when I try to take over a piece in the chess event I get no pet bar. Other than this I'm enjoying Macaroon it is very easy to use.

Yeah Great, it's ok with Zombie mode

Now, I've taking a look to the FAQ but I didn't see anything about "bind transfert/copy"

Is it possible to transfert this bind to the pocess bar ?

So when the barrs appears, the binds' still there

(pfiou, my english scares me )

*edit* I think this might be cause I tried to load the profile with no buttons created. When I swap between different stages of "profiles" on the char I was setting them up on this works. This error occured when tried to load the profile from a blank screen so to speak. Haven't had a chance to add buttons and then try - leaving this posted just in case it is more then my user error atm.

Zombies - problems

Dumbest event ever... however.

I have a bar setup with Pet and Possess, and both states have Pet id: 1 to 10 on them. When I get turned into a Zombie I dont see a bar for it. Blizz have said this is using the vehicle system.

I created a new bar with Action 1-12, and that was empty too.

What state is the bar to make this work, and what buttons does it need to have?

I wish you could keep your main bar visible while making your pet bar the same as possess bar... even though i clicked possess on my pet bar and the buttons were there in edit mode, after i exited edit mode they went away. so i had to configure my main bar for possession. would be easier if the bar for my pet could also be for chess event/zombie

i'm glad that i know how to do these things now though lol

For the ghoul stuff (also works with Mind Controlled targets for Priests and on the flying vehicles north of Westguard Keep on beta) you need to set them to action id 121 to 130 (131 and 132 as well maybe but I don't think anything ever uses them).

I did 2 different things between live and beta (to test things out).

On beta:
I made a bar with Pet, Possess and Showgrid checked.

In the "no pet","no possess" state it has 0 buttons (and so doesn't display).
In the "normal" state (you have a pet out, say a Shadowfiend for a Priest) I gave the bar 11 buttons. I set the first 10 to Pet ID 1 to 10. For the 11th button I made it of type macro and made a "/script VehicleExit(); /script PetDismiss();" macro which can be used to dismiss the pet or, for the possess bar, end the possession or exit the vehicle you're in as Macaroon doesn't provide a copy of the Blizzard UI's version.
In the "possess" state (you're Mind Controlling something or you're possessed ala Teron Gorefiend in BT or you're flying a vehicle or you're a ghoul on live) I also made 11 buttons. In this case the first 10 are set to Action ID 121 to 130. The last was of type macro again and I used my little "exit" macro.

So on beta I had possess and pet share the same bar. At least for me as a Priest with my only Pet a Shadowfiend, I noticed that if I mind controlled something while my Shadowfiend was out, my Shadowfiend was dismissed, so I wasn't losing anything by having them share the same bar. Dunno how it is for a Hunter or Warlock.


On live I did something a bit different.

Here, I had a nice big bar in bottom middle of my screen with 6 spells on it so that I can see at a glance range and cooldown info etc. However while I'm using a possess bar etc, they're of no use to me. I also have a block of buttons (smaller) off to the side (I intend to hide some of these at some point).

So on live I still have a separate Pet bar which works pretty much just like on beta except now of course it only has 2 states instead of 3. That's off to the side and works fine. Again I have an "exit" macro for it if for some reason I wanted to dismiss my Shadowfiend early.

For my Possess bar though what I did was a bit different.
I made a bar with Possess and Showgrid checked (I like Showgrid but this is just personal preference) and I put it underneath my big bottom bar with the 6 spells.

I also made made my big bottom bar also have Possess and Showgrid checked.

I set up the bottom bar to have it's 6 buttons in the "No possess" state and 0 in the "Possess" state. I set up the Possess bar to have 11 buttons in the "Possess" state and 0 in the "No Possess" state. Again, the buttons in Possess state for the Possess bar were set to action id 121 to 130 (with the last spot for my "exit" macro.

I also linked my possess bar to my "big" bar (the reason why I went with 2 bars rather than just one was because I wasn't sure if I wanted them in the same spot etc and with other options the same).

For keybindings, I wanted my Possess bar to override my 1 to 0 keybinds, however those keybinds were bound to buttons on my sidebar, so I "locked" the keybinds on the side bar and then assigned them to my Possess bar in Possess state. This seems to work fine. When I'm possessing the buttons only activate my Possess bar abilities. When I'm not possessing they only activate the side buttons.


But yeah, that's my set up currently.

About the only thing missing is the default "exit" button. I'm worried I might be missing something by manually using my macro.

As I mentioned in my previous post this is exactly what I did on my beta account with Macaroon.

Create a bar with Possess and Pet both checked.
In the "No Pet, No Possess" state, have it set to 0 buttons.
In the "Normal, No Possess" state, have it set to however many buttons you want for your Pet. I suggest 11 in total with that last one reserved for a Dismiss button. In this state the first 10 buttons should be configured to use Pet ID 1 to 10.
In the "No Pet, Possess" state, have it set to however many buttons you want for your Possession stuff. Again 11 would seem to be enough with the first 10 set to Action ID 121 to 130 and the 11th set to an "exit" macro.

The "exit" macro I use is:
/script VehicleExit();
/script PetDismiss();

(to cover both pets and vehicles/possessions).

I cant get the "zombie bar" to work.
As I understand it it is from the new vehicle system. That is not the same as possession?
I had to activate blizzard bar.

Some solutions popped in while I was writing so I have to try them out.

The pet bar has issues with the cat family. Cats are the only hunter pets with 5 active skills and i cannot get all 5 of them to show. With only 10 PetIDs i can always only see 4 of them. If i swap them out manually one of them is alwas replaced.
