If you are using Vista, make sure you are placing them in the right place. The 3.0 patch asked if you wanted to use a public folder for certain things, which makes wow look in there instead of the default folders.

I don't use the profiles often, but I really really like(d) them. Well, I just updated to v26, so I can't say when this crept in, but I used to load a profile, and all my buttons were instantly set up properly. Now, when I load a profile, EVERY button disappears, and I have to reload the UI to get the newly loaded profile to show up.

Yeah, I am going to change the way this happens, apparently some people don't like the bar disappearing when their pet dies. Until I update you can edit Macaroon_Bars_States.lua and change:

"[target=pet,nodead,exists,nobonusbar:5] homestate; [nobonusbar:5] pet2",

to

"[target=pet,exists,nobonusbar:5] homestate; [nobonusbar:5] pet2",

It is changed for the next update.

Trinity is dead !!! Long live Trinity, eeuh, uhuh, Macaroon !!

Simply stated : Trinity is the best UI mod I have used so far (Auctioneer gets close though). I loved it ! I need(ed) it ! Thanks, thanks thanks, we are not worthy...
I'm now using Macaroon, failed to import my old Trinity settings, but maybe that was good... By now I have set up two characters, and after the usual cold-water fear, I now start to like Macaroon just as good as Trinity.
- - - still think that Trinity is a much nicer name though...note to myself: see if I can find out why it was named trinity - - -
Alas, alas, just one thing I cannot seem to find in Macaroon. Where are my round buttons !!!!??? Man, I loved the round buttons in Trinity.
Just downloaded the latest version again, hope to see my round buttons there... Or maybe I'm overlooking them ? Nah, hope not.
But many, many thanks for all your effort. Trinity has added and macaroon will add significantly to my wow playing experience !

For those of you who already set your Main bar to show 12 "Possession" buttons and are still not seeing the Zombie buttons, all you need to do, is make the bar's current state: "Possession," then remove the buttons that you have there via Button Count (take it all the way down to 0), then readd the buttons back up to 12 or whatever.

If you do this while Posessed by a zombie, you'll see your zombie action buttons/skills appear when you add the buttons back.

Make sure you have the latest release of Macaroon.

PS: Maul, I <3 you. *approves of Macaroon*

Every time I open the main menu, it resets all of my buttons to how they were when I initially installed the mod. Any idea why this happens?

Warlock Metamorphasis

Just wondering if there is any way to trigger bars based on buff/debuffs etc.
Eg Warlock Metamorphasis isn't actually a state change, but I don't want he Demon buttons hanging around until I use it. Any way to do something like this?

Oh and for the recent events like the Zombie, or things like Chess is Kara the possession bar doesn't show any keys. What is supposed to be done for that?

Woot! Now that the bug with remapping states is finally squashed, I get to try it out! Alas, it doesn't do anything that I can identify. So, I assume I'm misunderstanding what it does / how it works.

I thought I gleaned from some comment past that you could make Macaroon switch to your Caster Bar when you go into Swift Flight Form, without creating a whole duplicate of the Caster Bar on your Flight Bar. I thought that would be as simple as selecting Bar State: Swift Flight Form and Remap To: Caster. But it still shows absolutely nothing on this stance bar when I go to bird form. Can you shed some light on this please? Thanks!

P.S. You deserve a LOT of gold stars for all your hard work on this, Maul. This is much better than Trinity was, and by far the best actionbar mod for WoW!

I haven't seen this happen. Which version were you using? Make a bug report on my portal with details so I can look into it.

Nope, no way to use buffs to change bars, but Metamorphosis is actually a stance change. Enable stance for a bar, then left-click it to cycle the states to set the bar up.

Make sure you read over the FAQ on possession bars and make sure you have the latest updates. So far on my side everything is working as it should with the zombie event.

The bug wasn't doing anything other than throwing an error. Nothing was getting messed up But yeah, to remap your flight form, select flight form from the top drop down and caster from the second. It should work...you may have to re-make the bar, though. The remapping required some added data to the bar and it may not be set up correctly from older versions.

reaction button mapping issues

Hi there.. I have a druid with an action bar setup for the states:

Stance
Prowl
Reaction

I want the ability to target a friendly person and show my healing spells, but (regardless of form) when I target a hostile unit, the buttons map to offensive spells. In general this works, however there is an issues changing between forms, and what buttons get mapped.

For the example below, assume I have one bar/button with the states above. When I target friendly, the button is lifebloom, when I target hostile, the button is moonfire.

Assuming I'm in Treeform (but this occurs for all forms), I target a hostile unit and cast moonfire.

What I expect is that I shapeshift out and case the spell. The button continues to display moonfire because the hostile unit is still targeted. However, the button is remapped to lifebloom UNTIL I deselect the target and reselect the target.

It appears shifting between forms loses the target reaction, and defaults to normal reaction.

Playing around with this though, I had edit mode on (so I can hover over the bar and see Current State: and Active States:

With hostile target selected
Current State: Hostile
Active States: Reaction, Stance

When I shift out of form and still have the same hostile target selected I'd expect to see the same states, but I get this:

With hostile target selected
Current State: Normal
Active States: Reaction, Stance

I've not dug into each form/state change, but there does appear to be some shapeshifting issues.

Sorry for the long post and hopefully it makes sense. I've grown accustom to having buttons remap on reaction, and I'd love to see Macaroon support this well. Once this is supported well, it will be my action bar mod of choice.
