Crystal UI (Aion: Tower of Eternity)

This UI is of course inspired by a very cool game called Aion: The tower of Eternity! I loved the interface that they used in the game. Everytime i watch videos of the game I think to my self man that would work so well in world of wacraft. So thats what brings me here today with this UI. This is my Ode to Aion.

Supported resolutions: 1440x900 Widescreen.

Installation:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Step one: Rename your WTF and Interface folders to WTFold and Interfaceold
Step two: Unzip the Crystal UI to either your desktop(or where ever you want to unzip the files)
Step three: Put the interface folder, WTF folder and Font folder in your world of warcraft directory (should be C:/Programs/Worldofwarcraft)
Step Four: inside the WTF folder you will see an account folder. Enter that folder and inside there you will see a folder that says ACCOUNT NAME. Rename this folder to your log in/account name. Make sure you put your account name in all caps!
Step five: Inside the ACCOUNT NAME folder you will see a server name folder. Rename this folder with your servers name.
Step six: Inside the Server Name folder there is a Character Name folder. Rename this folder with the character you wish to use this ui with.
Step seven: Log in.

When logging in for the first time: Type

/reflux switch Crystal UI

you must include the caps! very important!

Addons included:

See picture labeled addons ----->>>>

Action bars - /macaroon menu
Art - type /kgpanels config
tooltips - type /tip
unit frames - type /stuf
casting bars - type /quartz
scrolling text - type /msbt
bags - click on the green bag icon on the bags
minimap - type /chinchilla for further options. Disable the GUI so you can right click on the minimap for tracking. or enable the tracking button and delete neftracking.
experience bar - right click on it
buffs - enter interface options and choose Aura frames

If you have any questions regarding any of the above addons feel free to ask. I'll do the best I can to answer your questions. For the most part you shouldn't have to do anything upon loading the UI.

Credit: A big thanks to all the authors that made this UI possible. Your dedicated support to these addons is greatly appreciated by the UI community. And i for one love having things to fiddle with. Thanks again!

Please report any errors or issues as soon as you get them so i can correct them. Currently with the changes to 3D images I cannot use them for party, target, target of target etc because it keeps showing a full body picture. It works fine for player so i kept that 3d

3/11/09 - Updated/got rid of discord and replaced it with Stuf unit frames.

9/7/08 - Fixed debuff issue. They now show properly. Also fixed Ghost/dead text on player and target unit frames. Strata on left art frame was lowered so it would not cut through the bag art.

9/7/08- Added 2 more buttons and edited the pet bar art so it would be more functional. KNOWN ISSUE <> You get an lua error when clicking on the pet portrait to retrieve pet details. It does still work. Ill be checking to find out how to fix that.

Well in that case just zip it up for me or rar (which ever program you have) and email it to me at [email protected] I will upload it after I go through and make sure all the profiles are still the same and make sure everything is fixed (cuz im going to fix a few things and reupload mine myself)

I will give you full credit for resizing

What size screen do you use? I might not even be able to use it on my computer but my husbands screen is a tad bit bigger he might have that resolution available to him. If i can't use it i will just make sure the folders look good then upload it.

NDecisive - what resolution are you resizing for?

I still need to fix those dang party frames though. If you look closely they are not spread appart correctly.

Okay so here's what happened. I went to "Profiles" in Macaroon and selected the Crystal UI profile, then clicked load. I went to place spells into the bar, but still nothing. So I went to the minimap icon for macaroon and it took me to the config...at this point it allowed me to create a bar. There were no preset bars on the list, so I made my own. However, when I finally made it and scaled it correctly, I think the alpha was turned up to 100% so I couldn't see the spells, yet they were there and clickable.

Is there maybe a different profile I should be loading to get the premade bars? Cause I suck at creating my own apparently

maybe you are in config mode some how? the buttons should work like normal action bars. make sure they arent shaded blue because if they are you are in config mode. do you have a bunch of red question bars on the action bars?

One last question (and thank you, I got the blizz bar to go away). I am not familiar with macaroon, I'm more of a bartender person...so I'm not sure how to put spells and abilities onto the Aion UI. I can see the slots for them but when I attempt to put a spell there, it doesn't stay. I made sure that the profile was set to Crystal UI, but no luck?

Sounds like the profile isnt loading. Try typing /macaroon menu and mke sure the box isnt checked for the default blizzard bar art.

if thats not checked then make sure the Crystal profile is loaded.
