Crystal UI (Aion: Tower of Eternity)

This UI is of course inspired by a very cool game called Aion: The tower of Eternity! I loved the interface that they used in the game. Everytime i watch videos of the game I think to my self man that would work so well in world of wacraft. So thats what brings me here today with this UI. This is my Ode to Aion.

Supported resolutions: 1440x900 Widescreen.

Installation:

Step one: Rename your WTF and Interface folders to WTFold and Interfaceold
Step two: Unzip the Crystal UI to either your desktop(or where ever you want to unzip the files)
Step three: Put the interface folder, WTF folder and Font folder in your world of warcraft directory (should be C:/Programs/Worldofwarcraft)
Step Four: inside the WTF folder you will see an account folder. Enter that folder and inside there you will see a folder that says ACCOUNT NAME. Rename this folder to your log in/account name. Make sure you put your account name in all caps!
Step five: Inside the ACCOUNT NAME folder you will see a server name folder. Rename this folder with your servers name.
Step six: Inside the Server Name folder there is a Character Name folder. Rename this folder with the character you wish to use this ui with.
Step seven: Log in.

When logging in for the first time: Type

/reflux switch Crystal UI

you must include the caps! very important!

Addons included:

See picture labeled addons ----->>>>

Action bars - /macaroon menu
Art - type /kgpanels config
tooltips - type /tip
unit frames - type /stuf
casting bars - type /quartz
scrolling text - type /msbt
bags - click on the green bag icon on the bags
minimap - type /chinchilla for further options. Disable the GUI so you can right click on the minimap for tracking. or enable the tracking button and delete neftracking.
experience bar - right click on it
buffs - enter interface options and choose Aura frames

If you have any questions regarding any of the above addons feel free to ask. I'll do the best I can to answer your questions. For the most part you shouldn't have to do anything upon loading the UI.

Credit: A big thanks to all the authors that made this UI possible. Your dedicated support to these addons is greatly appreciated by the UI community. And i for one love having things to fiddle with. Thanks again!

Please report any errors or issues as soon as you get them so i can correct them. Currently with the changes to 3D images I cannot use them for party, target, target of target etc because it keeps showing a full body picture. It works fine for player so i kept that 3d

3/11/09 - Updated/got rid of discord and replaced it with Stuf unit frames.

9/7/08 - Fixed debuff issue. They now show properly. Also fixed Ghost/dead text on player and target unit frames. Strata on left art frame was lowered so it would not cut through the bag art.

9/7/08- Added 2 more buttons and edited the pet bar art so it would be more functional. KNOWN ISSUE <> You get an lua error when clicking on the pet portrait to retrieve pet details. It does still work. Ill be checking to find out how to fix that.

I just updated so you can just use what i uploaded. Or if you would rather not type /macaroon and make sure the main blizzard bar is disabled.

Yea in this version there are a lot of errors. Not to worry though i have fixes commin. Thank you for the compliments.

Right now I have everything working. I just need to go around on my alts and get it ready for other classes. \ Waiting on a few more addon fixes before i release though. Iulian A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 2 Uploads: 0	hello everyone,i am currently trying to make an UI similar to the Crystal UI (Aion:Tower of Eternity) and i have a few questions if you dont mind.first one is related to Kgpanels: when you target someone,the Aion art border appears automaticly with the frame of the selected person,right?and when u arent targeting noone the aion art background dissapears by itself right? my question is how you do that ?? how u ''glue'' the aion background to the target frame so it dissapears when u dont have a target ? second question is where u got the aion art model for the castbar? it looks awsome and i couldnt find it in the UI pack u got. im asking all these questions cause i dw'ed the UI but it doesnt work, i've followed all steps correctly.Tryed with the 1280x1074 one, my res is 1280x800 love this UI cheers and sorry for bad grammar

I typed /zmob config but the help command keeps coming up? Perhaps I didn't download something properly? Or installed wrong? I haven't gotten an error message! So I'm guessing it is something I have done wrong.

I can't find it, to move it. I'm assuming it's in the south west, but that gets covered up by the calendar and the macaroon icon. I can't seem to highlight it. Try this it may be stuf unit frames interfering with zmobdb.

Go /stuf select player frame
From the list and check the box to disable portraits

This will only turn off the stuf portrait but leave the zmobdb's in place.
