Urban Achiever  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 17.160
by: Syzgyn, Tomate

Urban Achiever is a replacement Achievement frame.

Features

  • Search through all the achievements, statistics, and criteria in game for any term.
  • Sort achievements by name, point value, or completion date
  • Now uses the built in Tracking frame added in 3.1, with additional functionality
  • More information available with less scrolling required.
  • See how far progressed other people are in every achievement, along with the status of individual criteria.
  • Track timed achievements as they start, automatically.

Localization
All localization are now implemented:
  • English
  • French
  • Korean (Thanks to maknae & zubrik)
  • German (Thanks to ElderIlem)
  • Chinese (Thanks to stephenmarquis)
  • Russian (Thanks to osgod)
  • Spanish (Thanks to Phanx)

Known Issues

Sorting isn't working as well as I'd like.
Also you have to specificly bind a key to open the UrbanAchiever frame. It should be at the bottom of your binding menu, in the UrbanAchiever section.

Usage
/urbanachiever or /ua to toggle the options and help.

All the current /commands for the achievement frame will open the new one.

Shift-click achievements to track them, alt-click them on the tracker to remove them.

The Blizzard tracker sucks

I'll echo the others in begging you to put back the non-sucky tracker that used to be part of the mod. The Blizzard tracker stinks and is why I adopted UA in the first place. Please help us!

When I right-click on the title the only two options I see are:

Open Achievement
Stop Tracking

I see no "unlock" option at all.

Any chance you can make it show ALL the goals for an achievement again, too? At the moment it seems to "..." off after 4 or 5, which is largely the reason I abandoned Blizzard's arse-ended UI for UA in the first place.

Also, if you know any way to stop it doing the irritating mouseover fade-in/fade-out thing, that would be grand - I don't want to interact with the frame, I want it to show me information.

Many thanks for all your efforts - although I'm disappointed at the move to the blizzard UI, I do really appreciate how much less work it must be.

Is there any script or command to hide/show the tracker? I love UA but I'm looking for the ability to hide the tracker when I need to without having to un-track everything then re-track it again later.

Re: Frame

I'm getting this error when opening the default Achievment frame:

Code:
[2009/03/05 18:00:01-391-x1]: ...ns\Blizzard_AchievementUI\Blizzard_AchievementUI.lua:315: attempt to get length of local 'buttons' (a nil value):
...ns\Blizzard_AchievementUI\Blizzard_AchievementUI.lua:242: in function `AchievementFrameCategories_OnShow':
<string>:"*:OnShow":1: in function <[string "*:OnShow"]:1>
<in C code>: in function `Show'
Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:1818: in function <Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:1813>:
<in C code>: in function `ShowUIPanel'
...ns\Blizzard_AchievementUI\Blizzard_AchievementUI.lua:56: in function `AchievementFrame_ToggleAchievementFrame':
Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:346: in function `ToggleAchievementFrame':
<string>:"TOGGLEACHIEVEMENT":1: in function <[string "TOGGLEACHIEVEMENT"]:1>
I disable UA and the error goes away.
I also tried UA alone and get this error.

EDIT : I deleted the Blizzard_AchievementUI folder and it now works. It appears that somehow it may have gotten corrupt.

All works fine now.

Always keep on getting the regular blizzard frame. and an error Main.lua:2 154: attempt to index field 'tracker' (a nil value) i took off all my addons just to see what happened and thats the result.
Either thru a new keybinding or type /ua show

Maybe as a seperate addon, It's beyond the scope of UA though.
