I think this may a Vista issue with the way WoW now can use a public folder. Double check if your Vista install is using the public folder for addons and saved data, and if it is, delete (back up first) the folder in the wow installation.

It should be going away on its own if you've enabled the "hide WoW UI" (or whatever it's named, it's in the Main Menu) option. Rather, that's how I got rid of it.

@Niobium - Yes! Going to add this to the FAQ Enter button edit mode (/mac edit) then right-click on the xp bar. You will get some options to edit, select "width". You can then use the mouse-wheel to adjust.

Thanks so much, Maul.

For some odd reason whenever i log back into WoW, The bag bar likes to move to the middle of the screen even tho i put it back into place each time.
When I disabled all of the old Trinity mods--including the Importer--this stopped happening to me. If you've not already done that you might want to give it a shot.

@Radz - Removing individual buttons is not in yet. However, there is a way to manipulate it to get what you want.

type /mac create menu

You now have two menu bars

Click on the bar that has all the menu buttons

type /mac remove until the first button you want to add is removed.

Then click the new menu bar.

type /mac add to add that single button.

Repeat for second button.

@Kaysi - This is a small bug I am working on. A relog usually fixes it. If it does not, let me know.

@Cowberty - I have been seeing reports of this across several addons not my own. If you have Vista and during the patch install process you said okay to using the public folder, I think this is an issue of settings not saving right because of that. Not sure how to fix it, yet...

@Omagawd - try /mac create bar. For pet buttons you need to enter button edit mode (/mac edit) and left-clcik the buttons until they say "pet"

@Carnacki - yay!

@Niobium - Yes! Going to add this to the FAQ Enter button edit mode (/mac edit) then right-click on the xp bar. You will get some options to edit, select "width". You can then use the mouse-wheel to adjust.

Is there a wat to lengthen the XP bar (i.e. widen it)? That used to be done with button count but now it's not working. I don't want to make it bigger, which is what scale does, just longer.

Thanks Maul. I've tried that and now I have three Xp/Rep bars again. Nice to be able to track all my major factions at once

Re: Menu Bar

Hi there! Thank you so much for creating this!

Quick question, I seem to be unable to move my casting bar, XP bar, and menu bar. When I go into edit mode, I can move all my button bars really easily- but these three won't budge.

Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks!

Menu Bar

Very impressed so far, and have been searching quite hard for this but haven't found it yet, so maybe it's not a feature in Macaroon yet, but..

I'm trying to remove all but two of the buttons in the menu bar (leaving only latency and the keyring), which I could do even in recent versions of Trinity but can't find anywhere in Macaroon?

Enter bar edit mode and use "Button Count". You can add more XP/Rep bars to the same bar or create a new xp bar (/mac create xp) and then add "buttons" to that one. Later I will make it so that the text on the options change to make it more clear.

Thank you for the great add on. I'm loving it!
Blizzard took out their latency bar and made it so the computer screen turned green/yellow/red on that button. I, for one, thought it was too small. So Macaroon's latency button is the game button. Easier to read latency and provides all the computer menu button functions
