Stuf is a replacement to StellarUF. Stuf has the same initial layout and feel of StellarUF, but Stuf is highly customizable.



Do not expect much since this mod's purpose is to replace the Blizzard's main unit frames, not other unit frame mods. I'll most likely deny requests to copy random features.

Noteworthy Recent Additions:

Supported Units:

How to Use:
  • Basic - make sure Stuf_Options is enabled; it's required for initializing defaults and changing settings
  • Options menu - "/stuf" or check the Addons tab in Interface Options
  • Hide party in raid - Stuf obeys Blizzard's option to "Hide Party Interface in Raid"
  • Show/Hide elements - many are hidden/shown by setting the alpha or color alpha to zero
  • Slider nudging - (bug Ace3 people for a better way), I do the following:
    1. Move your cursor over the text above the slider, a tooltip should be showing.
    2. Move your cursor up until the tooltip disappears.
    3. Left-click.
    4. Move your cursor back over the slider until the tooltip reappears.
    5. Now you can nudge using mouse wheel.
  • For sliders, you can also manually input values and press enter.
  • Many options, so I suggest checking each option one-by-one
  • StufRaid:
    • Options menu - "/stufraid" or check the Addons tab in Interface Options
    • Basic - StufRaid does not require Stuf, and Stuf does not require StufRaid
    • Special text - install UTF8 to support special characters for the name text sub-string feature

Features Lacking (forever):
  • No profiles, but you can save per character. Profiles would at least double the memory usage (plus more for each profile you create) of Stuf due to its massive saved variables. Check out Reflux to add profiles options to Stuf and other mods.
  • Showing raid instead of party frames when in a party.
  • Advanced buff/debuff filtering for main units.
  • Switching frames when in vehicle
  • Full-featured casting bar (no GCD, breathe, cooldowns, etc)
  • Anything that would really kill performance and lack usefulness
  • Anything for which already has a great standalone mod
  • Anything picky about text that can be done using Lua text
  • Color health bars if mob is tapped

Known Issues:
  • You cannot right-click Stuf's player buff icon to cancel shape-shift forms (ie. druid forms and shadow form) since they're protected now.

I'd love to see the MT frames moved to the regular unit frame package. As a healer I prefer Grid or VuhDo over the Stuf raid frames. I think it's a great thing to separate the raid frames from the normal frames, but for everyone who isn't using the stuf raid frames, access to the MT frames would be great.

quick question about boss 1 frame, I kinda messed with the text pattern in text 3, any one have the default text pattern on it form the last stuff version? is it still [perchp]% ????

Some models are ghostly. I have very little control on how 3D models are shown. Combo text counters can be and has been done with advance text. There are also many combo point mods out there that does it.

No anchoring. Everything is independent of each other. There is group dragging if you look at the drag tooltip. Don't know how often people move their frames around to make anchoring useful for its costs.

Anchoring Frames?

Is there a config option I'm missing to anchor one frame to another? Say as I move/position the player frame, the pet frame always stays in an exact relative position to that frame, instead of having to always manually adjust it?

I've noticed some issues with Portrait Opacity for some targets, seemingly rendering them unaffected. I think it's caused by the model being above the transparency. If you haven't changed the red health color then this will do what you want.

I'm not the addon author, but I'm a hardcore user and enthusiast.

There is no experience bar. There are many experience bar addons that will do exactly what you're looking for!

Currently, there is not a way to color a mob's health bar depending upon if it is tapped or not. However, there is a text field that can be configured to meet this requirement. I have mine in HUGE font, makes it pretty damn obvious

Is there an experience bar? If not is there a tag that you can use in one of the text sections to create one? Forgive me if this has been answered in the past, but 968 comments is a tad much to surf through in hopes of finding an answer.

For the manabar options in Stuf Raid it says that it will only show mana and hide non-mana bars, which is correct, but it is still showing any background settings for the mana bars on classes that don't have mana. Am I missing something or is this working as intended?

Getting rid of big debuff icon in middle of frame...

First post here. I have to say STUF is amazing and is being included in my new minimalist UI compilation, but I am running into one road block.

I can't seem to get rid of that giant debuff icon that appears by default within the frames. I've managed to change everything else to my liking and have poured over every setting and cannot seem to find this.

On the player frame for example I have both buffs and debuffs disabled, yet it does not disappear. I looked under every setting as well as the global settings and have had no luck. Please help, thanks!
