FAQ
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.

Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons do not automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars (except for Bar 1), you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!

Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.

Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

I also have the same issue. I am using Masque (with the RealUI skin) and whenever an aura or something similar is active (Blessing of Kings, Horn of Winter or even my Mount macro) is get that yellowish square outside the button.

I also have issues with hotkeying at the Darkmoon faire (see comment below mine). I can't use the ability when I press the hotkey on my keyboard (mouseclick does work).

Blizzard Vehicle UI issue - Darkmoon Faire

With the Darkmoon Faire, there have been some issues with the patch itself but I am also seeing issues with my action bars.

I always keep bar 1 reserved for the vehicle buttons. I never assign any functions to them and I disable the Blizzard Vehicle ui in my settings. Normally, this is fine. The vehicle buttons show up on their assigned numbers, whether it's for 'Aces High' or for the faire games. I never had a problem.

After Sunday, at the Faire for all the various games you have to do, the Blizzard ui shows up, even if 'disable' is checked. Bar 1 doesn't seem to have the same default function any longer as in some cases, I can use the number 1 key to click - the 1 (for instance) shows up on the vehicle icon. But in other cases, it looks like the icon is not assigned any default and I have to mouse click it.

I understand that this may not be part of the Bartender lua code but if someone could give me some pointers to where I might find some possible solutions, I would appreciate it. I would prefer to have my action bars controlled by Bartender, even the vehicle one.

Hello, and thanks for a great addon.

After 5.0.4 I have a issue with the following:

1) A yellow border aprox. 3 pixels outside of my enabled aura-buttons(Aspects, Trap Launcher). Any way to remove it?

2) The buttons I have that shows items with stacks have the text outside of the box, wich was centered inside pre-5.0.4. Any way to have them center of button again?

Hi Im using BT with LUi and I dont know if its Luis fault ot BT but if I dont use masque the bar borders go all horrible anyone with a fix?

The macro name font is fine, the keybind font is the standard one and not the one i want.

Me, too, plus my rep bar is solid purple, with no text and it's not functioning at all.

I can get my XP bar to appear by opening my character tab, but that's a pain, especially when I'm in a dungeon or something.

I updated from Curse.com about an hour ago, so I've got the most recent build.

The charge count shows in the same field as number of items etc.
I just specced guardian and it shows up just fine for me. Make sure you're on the 4.5.0 release version, and not the old beta.

Blizzard removed the totem bar. Bartender was just giving you access to Blizzards bar.
You should drag the totem buttons onto a normal bar.

With the new abilities that have charges on them, I'm having trouble seeing those charges on my bars.

For instance Savage Defense (Guardian Druid) and Paladin Hands (with proper talent) should show with 3 or 2 (respectively) charges, however that number is not appearing anywhere on Bartender. I've tried disabling all other mods that might impact it, with no luck, and still can't figure it out.

Quick question, before today's patch i was able to have the number of potions/food/flask ect visable in the bottom coroner of the button, now it's noticeable lower the the button and i cant remember how to fix it. Thanks

Bars keep changing!

I have a problem in that the bars will occasionally all change to the same icons as on 1 bar, and the only way around it that I have found is to log out and re-enter the game. Does anyone have a workaround for this?
