FAQ
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.

Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons do not automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars (except for Bar 1), you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!

Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.

Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

The reputation bar thing was fixed in 4.4.0, i suggest you update.
For that other thing .. just stop selecting the "right actionbar" option in the blizz interface?

In any case. Have the latest version and all that, however, when summon a ghoul as an unholy DK (perma pet), the blizzard pet bar appears. If i go into the blizz interface options and select the "right actionbar" i think, it shows the background of that particular set of skills (the pet skills), plus another bar. If i uncheck it, the background art (the dragons or whatever that border is) disappears, but the skills remain. Logging out and logging back in fixes this.

Oh and also, if i switch specs (with the dual spec thing), the reputation bar randomly appears out of nowhere, even if deactivated. If i activate it (it pops into the middle of the screen) then deactivate it, it goes away, and stays away even if i switch spec until i log off, then starts all over again.

Same as out of combat. Or Bah, disregard that... Blizz so stupid, they can't even implement simple things. Do yourself a favor and simply install TotemTimers - it's much better in this regard and more easily manageable.

----

Totem Bar seems to be off it's space. A square right and several pixels up from the geen'ish positioning background.
And I can't figure out where's that "drop all totems" button O.o disregard that...
Also, the bar settings lack usual Padding setting, making it almost impossible to position properly...

On other toons however, if I keep rolling the mouse wheel it goes on to bar 3, and sometimes 4,5, etc... how do I make it always work the first way... with only ever showing bar 1 then 2 then back to 1?

I just can't figure out why it is doing what I want on some toons and not other when I am using the same profile for each???

Thanks,

It is per-character behavior.
Interface - Action Bars.
RightBar = 3
RightBar2 = 4
BottomRight = 5
BottomLeft = 6
Every enabled bar will be removed from Bar1 paging.

Sorry if this has been posted before:

I'm having some trouble with bartender saving buttons on my warrior stance bars whenever I log out. My primary spec buttons are all fine, but whenever I log out and come back later, most of my secondary spec buttons are gone, usually the talent skills, but there are some base line skills that are also gone. This happens on all my bars, and not just the ones that change based on stance.

I don't have this problem with my priest when I switch to shadowform, and she is also dual-specced with shadow as the secondary spec.

First of all, think twice before doing what you're trying to do.
Are you REALLY want to page whole bar?
Or just switch some of the buttons for more appropriate spells for the moment?
I bet it is second. Then just write a couple of macro which would take care of that switching.

I.e. I have Seal of Light/Seal of Wisdom and Seal of Command/Seal of Righteous on mod macro.
Also I have Righteous Defence and Hand of Reckoning on a macro which paging even without a modifier - just by the type of target i'm mousing over.
Now, if you REALLY want to do what you're trying to do... (just think for a moment that this addon could be abandoned one day... or abruptly killed by Blizzard... and you'll be playing without it... got the idea?) to solve your issue, you must understand one simple thing.

The thing is, the paging macro being evaluated from left to right, and FIRST matching pattern is returned.

Now, for
Code:
[Stance:0]1;[Stance:0,Modifier:Shift]2;[Stance:0,Modifier:CTRL]3;
The result WILL ALWAYS be 1. No matter what is being held.

See the difference:
Code:
[Stance:0,nomod]1;[Stance:0,Modifier:Shift]2;[Stance:0,mod]3;
It will be bar1 if no modifiers held, bar2 if you're holding Shift, and Bar3 if you hold any other modifier.

Custom State Headers

I am trying to get Custom State Headers working. Here is what I want to achieve.

Caster Form, Bar 1
Caster Form, Shift, Bar 2
Caster Form, CTRL, Bar 3
Bear Form, Bar 4
Bear Form, Shift, Bar 5
Cat Form, Bar 6
Cat Form, Shift, Bar 7
Cat Form, Prowl, Bar 8

Here is the code.
[Stance:0]1;[Stance:0,Modifier:Shift]2;[Stance:0,Modifier:CTRL]3;[bonusbar:3]4;[bonusbar:3,Modifier:Shift]5;[bonusbar:1]6;
[bonusbar:1,Modifier:Shift]7;[bonusbar:1,stealth]8;0
Paging works for Bear and Cat, but stealth and shift modifiers do not work.

my 1 button on my action bar is simply not there and no amount of perusing through the BT options give me a fix. it still WORKS when I hit it, but not having it there is bugging the crap out of me.

screenshots of bartender missing the 1 button as well as the options available to me:
