Bartender4 is a full ActionBar replacement mod. It provides you with all the features needed to fully customization most aspects of your action and related bars.

Since version 4.5.0, Bartender4 is fully compatible with WoW 5.0 and Mists of Pandaria. Note however that this version is no longer compatible with WoW 4.3/Cataclysm.

FAQ
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bar) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.

Q: Can Bartender4 import settings from Bartender3?
A: No. Those two mods are too different to be able to import settings.

Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: BT3 Keybindings will not be ported over either, you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!

Q: CyCircled Support? I like my button skins?
A: No reason to cry! There is a sparkling new skinning addon/library out there! ButtonFacade is way easier to work with as a action-bar author, and its easier to write skins for it too! Alot of cyCircled Skins have already been ported to ButtonFacade, and more are on their way! After installing ButtonFacade just use its configuration to change the skin of the BT4 buttons (/bf)

Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Blizzard Vehicle UI issue - Darkmoon Faire

With the Darkmoon Faire, there have been some issues with the patch itself but I am also seeing issues with my action bars.

I always keep bar 1 reserved for the vehicle buttons. I never assign any functions to them and I disable the Blizzard Vehicle ui in my settings. Normally, this is fine. The vehicle buttons show up on their assigned numbers, whether it's for 'Aces High' or for the faire games. I never had a problem.

After Sunday, at the Faire for all the various games you have to do, the Blizzard ui shows up, even if 'disable' is checked. Bar 1 doesn't seem to have the same default function any longer as in some cases, I can use the number 1 key to click - the 1 (for instance) shows up on the vehicle icon. But in other cases, it looks like the icon is not assigned any default and I have to mouse click it.

I understand that this may not be part of the Bartender lua code but if someone could give me some pointers to where I might find some possible solutions, I would appreciate it. I would prefer to have my action bars controlled by Bartender, even the vehicle one.

I also have the same issue. I am using Masque (with the RealUI skin) and whenever an aura or something similar is active (Blessing of Kings, Horn of Winter or even my Mount macro) is get that yellowish square outside the button.

I also have issues with hotkeying at the Darkmoon faire (see comment below mine). I can't use the ability when I press the hotkey on my keyboard (mouseclick does work).

I checked the Darkmoon Faire games, and i can use them just perfectly, both with the Vehicle UI turned off, and with it turned on.

As always, please try with all other addons disabled, to rule out some other addon doing something bad here.

I'm not sure if they removed it, but I don't seem to get either the Extra Action Button or the Alt Power Bar since 5. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

I checked my BT4 settings that the extra action button is enabled and that it is in a visible place, but I just can't get it to pop up in the encounters.

i find it kind of annoying when i want to move buttons around, but it always ACTIVATES that spell when i want to move it due to "toggle actions on key press."

is there anyway to lock buttons, move buttons with a modifier without activating the spell?

edit: nvm,, something is odd. this only happens on SOME of my toons. a simple key bind reset fixes it i guess.

I'm having trouble with "fade out" bars and "pop out bars"

when you click on, for example, mage portals that has a pull out function, it works but when you hover outside of the bar, the bar goes hidden due to the "fade out" function.

it makes it really hard to select mage teleport spells when the bar disappears.

Get 4.5.4, the issue should be resolved and the bar should stay visible as long as you are over the flyout/popout or the bar itself.

If you have it installed, the highlight is likely coming from an addon called Raven. There is a tab in the addon's control panel labled "Highlights". Try looking there for a solution to your issue.

Will bartender be able to tell right away on mop launch night that a character can gain xp? I assume you track blizz ui xp bar show/hide so if blizz wants to show theirs (because we can gain xp again) your's should pop up too?

I havent been able to find any reliably named function to track it myself other than that of the "constant" 'MAX_PLAYER_LEVEL' or maybe GetCurrentExpansion().. but tracking those for that purpose makes me crinch..

No, it isn't based on UI behavior. Neither - on character levels.

2) The buttons I have that shows items with stacks have the text outside of the box, wich was centered inside pre-5.0.4. Any way to have them center of button again?

I also have the same issue. I am using Masque (with the RealUI skin) and whenever an aura or something similar is active (Blessing of Kings, Horn of Winter or even my Mount macro) is get that yellowish square outside the button.
If you have it installed, the highlight is likely coming from an addon called Raven. There is a tab in the addon's control panel labled "Highlights". Try looking there for a solution to your issue.

I'm sure I'm just overlooking something, but I'm having trouble getting bars 7-10 to show. Are they only for classes like druids/rogues/spriests that need state shifts?

What I'm trying to do is make it so I can use bar 7 instead of bar 1 when I'm in my ret spec. I'm usually prot/holy but I'm doing ret/holy for leveling to 90 and I don't want to change my bar 1 prot abilities for just 5 levels. I figured using a separate bar for my ret abilities would help with changing back and forth.

I have checked all the visibility settings, the state configuration settings, etc. I can see the bar positions when I unlock Bar4, but when I lock it again, it won't pop up when I drag abilities to it.
