MoveAnything enables you to move, scale, hide and adjust transparency of just about any screen element in WoW, offering tools to help you customize your UI. Some other frame modifications is also possible using MA's Frame Editors(introduced in 11.b2).
Type /move to show the main window or click the button below the game menu. This main window contains a list of Blizzard's frames(any element not in the list can be added to the Custom Frames category by either /move frameName, /hide frameName or one of the move/hide keybindings).
Maintained by Wagthaa of Earthen Ring EU since the pre-WotLK patch. Kudos to Skrag(original author), Jason(vanilla mod) & Vincent(tbc) for earlier versions.

Re: Re: Error when trying to move the Minimap
I remembered this morning that I have an addon called "Broker_Uclock" that has an option to hide the minimap clock. Everything is working as it should now. Thanks for the help on this and keep up the great work.

Re: Breaks LibQTip.1.0 Tooltips
I've just tested -10.b2 with LibQTip and it was working just fine. Double thanks for the report, downloaded Ackis Recipe List to test LibQTip in action and am really liking it. |

Re: Error when trying to move the Minimap
I'll send you a PM when it's ready. If you need it fixed now you can comment out line 119 by prefixing it with "--". So it will look like this: --TimeManagerClockButton:SetFrameStrata("MEDIUM") I'm a bit confused as to why you were getting this as it means that Blizzards TimeManager addon haven't loaded at the time the game is done loading. Something which has always been the case during my own use of moveanything as well as all my tests. Do you have a little clock at the bottom of your minimap? |

Been using Moveanything forever and don't mind starting over, but not sure what is causing this error.

You can hide it either by using the Hide Frame keybindings(think you'll need the Exact one for this) or by using /hide GameMenuButtonMoveAnything. Cheers, kind words much appreciated |

Tooltip scaling
Latest version is preventing tooltip addons to scale the tooltip. Tried it with TipTop and TipTac, both wouldn't scale the tooltip at all while MoveAnything was enabled.

Re: move buffs
/move DebuffButton1 and /move TemporaryEnchantFrame Scaling, alpha blend and hiding is not supported on these however, hence the need to wrap them specifically. It's a common misconception that MoveAnything is limited to working with it's default list. You can interact any named screen element with the /move command or via the keybindings. Not all frames react too kindly to being modified though, and some may bug out. If that happens they can be reset at the bottom of MA's list under Custom Frames or with the /unmove command. |

The new alpha release 3.3-10.alpha1 has been approved by Curse. It might take some time before its syndicated to Curse, until then you can get it at CurseForge:
http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/move-anything/files/ Edit: Seems alpha releases ain't published on Curse, so this link is the place to get it. Will also try to up it to a beta and see if that still gets on curse. Edit2: Updated the link

Released a new alpha version on curse, it just needs to get approved.
I've chosen to release it as an alpha due to the changes in the data format. I really want people to be aware that running WoW with this alpha release enabled will mean that your stored frame settings no longer will be compatible with -9 and earlier versions. Backup MoveAnything's WTF file before installing it if you want to be sure you can go back without starting over. I've spend a great deal of time trying to fix issues and generally harden the new code base and hope you guys will like what I've come up with so far. There are still items on my evergrowing todo list, but I would really like to get some more testers than myself and a few close friends. Last but not least I've actually been using the addon while playing the game in between development sessions, which have weeded out many hard to catch issues. When I was working on last release I didn't play at all and had not done so for a long time, which the quality of -9 surely suffered under. Anyways working on MA suckered me right back in so I'm back. Any and all feedback on this new release will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance Edit: typos and grammar

@ pär: Having spend far too many hours poking around Blizzard's FrameXML I can only agree with you on the minimap being the default right hand attachment point
The following script should make all debuffs movable without having been debuffed over and over first: /run for i=1, DEBUFF_MAX_DISPLAY do buff = _G["DebuffButton"..i] if not buff then buff = CreateFrame("Button", "DebuffButton"..i, BuffFrame, "BuffButtonTemplate") end DebuffButton_UpdateAnchors("DebuffButton", i) end |
