I got it to work with blizz textures by removing the calls to your rTexture files (well just hte ones I wanted to change)

I still need to edit your checked texture though so it is green so I can tell what items are equiped (too bad I suck at that stuff!! lol Anyone want to make it for me??)

This Blizzard default textures does not do this. They use the same overall texture size, but the button texture inside that file is very small. That is why there is such a huge gap when using the default textures.

@lancan you do not use the blizzard textures, you use textures that are made to work around the Blizzard flaw of doing right textures :>

i tried just doing that and i get big black squares around tiny buttons

Meh, can no longer test this stuff out tonight... game unplayable on any server I try right now

take a look at my gloss.tga file, just create your own texture in the same size or change the blizzard textures to be of the same size. Don't try to hack the code when you could just edit the texture.

Got some issues

Keybinding keys disappear after a minute or so
The hidden boxes show up all of a sudden while I had them still as hidden.

rBars2 does have no keybindings, they only appear after you set some keybindings. They are gone after the next reloadui.

I don't understand your other problem.

Are you sure you have the latest version?
What spell list? Spell book?
Have you edited the code, I ask this because the ALPHA of the texture is so low.

Nothing has been altered. Spell list/speel book whatever it's nothing more than P on your keyboard (normally). It happens when I open any random popup frame like spell book, friends list, quest log etc etc

Now I know what you mean. Yes this is intended. Opening the spellbook activates the GRID and that means the buttons become visible and you could put stuff into them.

Have you activated "always show bars" in the blizzard options? I can't reproduce this.

squares and spaces...

Problem nr 1:
I have an issue with the buttons looking strange, I to have those little squares on them that makes it look like double textures ontop of eachother. I do not want that. Plain and simple ones like the original ones is what I need.

Problem nr 2:
I can not see the keybindings on the buttons, again it is something I actualy need. I'm using all available actionbars and I don't always remember the keybindings on things I haven't used in a session or two. How do I make the keybindings show?

Problem nr 3:
The spacing between the buttons are excessive. I'm trying to minimize the screen space the UI is taking up and the huge gaps between the buttons with rBars2 is what... 15 - 20 pixels? I need only 1 - 3 pixels space between them, horizontally as well as verticaly. How do I fix that?

Problem nr 4:
I'm a complete and utter noob when it comes to coding so whatever the answers for the above questions are, it needs to be simple to understand and find in the lua file.

Random rant:
I loathe messing with lua files instead of a GUI but this rBars2 is the only actionbar addon I have found so far that does NOT require I remake all the hotkeys and keybindings for everything. I need an actionbar addon that doesn't mess up the default UI after patches and for that. rBars seems to be the way to go. Thanks for your work on it and for not forcing me to redo all my actionbars and buttons whenever blizzard makes us shut down addons and wait for updated ones.
