Titan Companions  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.01
by: urnati [More]
This addon will no longer be maintained. Several other addons implemented the same features and beat me to features I was adding (stealth, combat, cities, ...). So I decided to devote my time to other activities. :-)

This addon allows you to quickly summon / dismiss your companions from Titan Panel. And to see (and select) them in a scrollable frame.

Enable it under Plugins / General from Titan Panel.

See the Change Log for details.

Please post any issues you encounter.
v2.01.30000 (Feb 28, 2009) [urnati]
- Change to fix an error that would appear occasionally at line 411

v2.00.30000 (Jan 17, 2009) [urnati]
- A new option was added to show the number of companions next to the Titan button.
- Shift Right click of the Titan button will now open a frame showing your companions.
- The Companion menu no longer shows the list.
Instead it has a button to bring you a scrollable list of companions.
This is to get around a limitation in the number of items a simple menu can hold.
- Thank you for your patience while this was rewritten!
Special thanks to oXid, Nyte, and mORRIGANA for the advice.

v1.02.30000 (Aug 19, 2008) [urnati]
- Left click will now summon a random pet.
- Shift + left will open Companion tab.
You can also open the Companion tab from the menu
- Special thanks to Nyte and oXid FoX for their suggestions and help

v1.01.30000 (Aug 19, 2008) [urnati]
- French translation kindly provided by oXid FoX

v1.00.30000 (Aug 18, 2008) [urnati]
- Initial Release
- Uses the new Lich King API for the 'Pets' tab off the Character frame

It worked for me when I had 47, and stopped working now that I got two more over the winter veil festival. I don't think I tried using it when I had 48 though, cuz I didn't know about this bug. Hope that helps troubleshoot!

working...

Just to let everyone know I am working the problem. It is not resolving easily - I may have to move to a different type of menu scheme.
Thank you for your patience.

I've got over 60 companions and the list still shows up.

What I'd really like to see is a companion count on the toolbar.
i.e.
[ICON] Companion (63)

Companion list

I don't know what number it stops at, since I had 50 companions when I installed it, but if you have a large amount of them, you no longer get the text list. Your only options become the random selection, or to open the in-game companion panel. I'd like to be able to use the list, but don't know if that's possible.

Or have one(set, considering riding Azeroth mounts, flying Outland ones and soon to be available passenger Mammoths from Northrend) predefined for hotclick.

Feature request

Nifty dodad.. I like both this one and the mount plugin. However it would be real nice if you had the option to just click the icon and have it randomly summon a companion (or mount). (taking into account flying mounts for outland and riding for azeroth) and always choosing the fastest type available.

Love to see that added!
