Caith UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 19
by: Caith [More]

Welcome to my custom user interface.
I use a 24" monitor with a 1920x1200 resolution.
But you could also use it with your own resolution,
maybe you have to adjust some parts of the UI.

-

The installation guidelines are in the CaithUI.rar
But you can watch here a small ingame tutorial how to get started

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Btf3WKKzsn0

I use a couple of addons to modify my UI

Unitframes: PitBull, Gladius, kgPanels, Quartz
Buttons: Bartender4, OmniCC, kgPanels
Combat: LoseControl, Afflicted3, AUF, MSBT, DoomCdPulse
PVE: Omen, Recount, DBM
Buffs: nBuff, PowerAuras
Map: nMap, Mapster
Other: TipTac, FluidFrames, Reflux, !Beautycase, Bagnon, Junkyard, SharedMedia

Thanks a lot to the addon authors. We couldn't create such awesome interfaces without your addons!

Question about this step.

- Open the config.wtf file inside \world of warcraft\wtf\. Set the UIscale to SET uiScale "0.77999997138977" and turn it on SET useUiScale "1".

When you change the UI Scale to - SET uiScale "0.77999997138977" do you save and then change it to "1"

Not sure what this step means exactly. I install this UI yesterday and it works great I noticed today that this was a changed step from the old install.

Not everyone has the UIscale enabled. So I added it.

ok thanks. Any idea why Pitbull will not let you set a focus. I get an error when trying to set a focus target.

This is the error - "Interface action failed because of an AddOn"

I haven't updated to your newer version yet. I just noticed that you updated it today. I think I have your v.11 installed at the moment. I will install v.11.2 when I get home later today.

Thanks, this worked for me.

Now I only need help with my other question.

I need to make the text larger on my character tab, spellbook, quest log, achievement tab and some others. Any ideas how to do that?

Oh, and also, is it possible to show how much time is remaining on your buffs?

Thanks again.

Ok i got it (mostly) working in 1600*1200 - not everything looks like it's supposed to, but it's the best i could do

my only question:
- how do i move the quest tracker?

Uncheck "lock minimap" on the minimap and you'll be able to move a couple of frames.

uiScale and useUiScale are two different options and that is why they have different values. Make sense now? You add them/edit their values at the same time.

Very much so. I didn't notice the word "use" on the 2nd one lol. Thanks for pointing that out . Now about the Pitbull issue It's not letting me set a Focus Target with out getting the "Addon has been blocked" error message.

Any ideas on this? I can't try anything until I get off work. But it's always good to try and come up with some ideas to try.
